Yes. If the pressure is within normal range, they need to look away from gas and check for normal operation of the AC compressor clutch and fans.

If the pressure is too much, some cars have safety shut offs, so the AC will never cool well.

If the pressure is too low, there's a leak which must be traced. Some leaks may be inside the dashboard around the condenser.

They should have checked and cleaned or replaced the cabin air filter first.

Do they detect pressure in the system before their flush and refill?

Just buy extra oil of the same type you have been using and top up as needed. Don't give yourself unnecessary headache.

Yes. If you don't need the heater, you may even make it a permanent bypass. It hurts nothing.

A leaking heater core can cause the OP's symptoms. The leak usually pools under the floor mat(s).

Check that the insulation on plug wires/distributor cap and coil is intact.

Please get a standard modern 1-DIN audio player... preferably with bluetooth if you must change the stock player. That screen covering everywhere reduces the beauty of the dash IMO.

Do you intend to respray the car? I think that info is critical to choice of wheels.
If you intend to maintain current color the black wheels with chrome linings will make sense.

Check air filter first. Replace if clogged but you may blow it as a temporary measure if you can't afford replacement yet.

Does your fan come on when the engine is on or when the engine gets hot?

If yes, perform a bleed on cooling system and check water pump.
If no, you already know the problem.

And please, I need to know the rewire that installed horns on engine block. shocked

Plastic horns for that matter.

I dont know of corolla but all you need to do is start the car and allow it to idle, remove the radiator cap, when the engine start to get hot, you will see bubbles coming out of the radiator, keep topping the coalant till the radiator fan comes up twice, top with coalant and close the radiator cap.

NB: some cars have screw for bleeding, so you can check yours online if it have screw or not.

Thanks. I tried this method but I apparently stopped too soon. The bubbles kept coming & didn't stop... so I gave up after a while. I will redo it.

Yes, check the recommended coalant for your car, drain the water and replace with coalant. Remember to bleed the system when you are done.

How is this bleeding done please?

I had a leakage issue with my corolla too. I replaced my radiator but I noticed that every morning when I check the water level, the water spills out. Online research shows this is due to air trapped in cooling system.

I don't have any over heating though.

My 03 Corolla seems to be doing well. I'm always scared when I'm about to dive into the pools of water though. The water reaches the level of the headlamp base at times.

Only thing I observed is that the wipers just come on on their own while I'm in the water. But this stopped when I replaced my faulty windshield washer pump.

Upgrade does not usually involve mechanical or ECU modification due to excessive cost and complexity especially in developing countries like ours.

In my view, the aim is basically to appear to use a more expensive car to people.
