I have a cousin who was seriously in need to the extend that he came to stay with me in school with his fiancé. I was a student and struggled so hard to take care of them for 2yrs. Almost everyone in my hostel asked me to send them away but I didn't. After about 2yrs of staying with me, he got a contract as a ship cleaner.
last year December after my call to bar, he called me and said he has something 'small' for me, and asked me to send my account details. Like a dream, this guy transferred 4million naira to my account(an amount I have never made in my entire life). I was dumbfounded!! I cried when he reminded me of the sacrifices I made when he and his fiancé were staying with me in school!

Was in school then this friend of mine came to my house being the first time and I've already cooked ask him to feel comfortable since he's a family friend......And I left for my friends birthday party only for me to come back and meet two of his friends placing their dirty legs on my walls everywhere was just smelling due to their shoes and my pot of soup is almost gone.....I went in took few of my cloths and somethings I'll be needing.... I took my bag and tell him to meet me outside cause i don't want to embarrass him in front of his friends told him where to keep the key for me and i took the next available bus and travel home.....my mum you tell us you're coming me :- i was missing everybody at home that's why had to wash the room when I return

you guys make a mistake of putting beauty of environment as priority as against humanity. What happens to the families of the millions that has just been rendered jobless by this small move? Do you know how many children that will drop out of school because of this?

Let's have love of humanity in our hearts first before anything. Nobody will love to do okada or Keke work everyday if they have jobs.

If we are to compare Lagos with Tokyo and newyork, does Lagos have well organised subway system? Are there functional high speed trains? What about monorails and trams? Are there jobs? What about social security, access to credit and business support system?

Bottom line, before the government brings a policy that will in one swoop render over a million people jobless, they should ensure the society is working.

These people are trying against all odds to put food of their table, and the same government that destroyed the society is still the same one opposing them. This Is sad.

Dont put beauty of the state before humanity.

Actually you are very right

I met a graduate Muslim lady whose family is elite from the north and she told me boldly she supports BOKOHARAM and isis and if she had her first ay she would.fund them that Christianity is a problem in Nigeria. Mind you her dad is a professor. she works for a blue Chip company in Ikoyi but every Friday flies to the north to spend her weekend. And flies back to Lagos on Monday to resume work.

That is how the typical northern elite thinks
