OFALA FESTIVAL: Prince Don Okonkwo, Ifeanyi Uba, Traditional Rulers, Others Storm Ojoto Cultural Festival In Style

PROMOTING THE IGBO CULTURE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE SAYS PRINCE DON OKONKWO

The recently held Ofala Festival, one of the most recognised traditional exercise in Anambra state and across the entire Igbo Community, held on January 2nd 2021, may have decided a new phase of development for Ndi Ojota, where the annual festival was held. Speaking during the Festival, Prince Don Okonkwo assured Ndi Ojota and the entire people of Anambra state of his undaunted commitments towards promoting the Igbo culture and it's age-long heritage.

According to reports, the Ofala Festival witnessed the presence of prominent personalities across the southeast and South-south region of Nigeria, some of which includes the distinguished presence of Senator Ifeanyi Uba, Chief Obiora Okonkwo, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko, traditional rulers and the Host, His Royal Highness, Igwe Gerald Obunaduke Mabamalu, Eze Oranyelu 1-Eze Ojota III.

While speaking to our AnambraUpdate, Prince Don Okonkwo, a former Governorship Aspirant in Anambra state applauded HRH Igwe Gerald Obunaduke Mabamalu, Eze Oranyelu 1-Eze Ojota III, the traditional ruler of Ojota, for his earnest contribution towards promoting peace in his domain and prayed that his reign shall be long, thereby providing prosperity for the people of Ojota.

Don Prince Okonkwo further maintained that promoting and preserving the norms and traditions of Ndi Igbo remains sacrosanct and non-negotiable. He however appreciated the commitment of other renowned Personalities and their roles in ensuring that the pride of the Igbo culture remains fortified, united and targeted at a collective fruition for its people.

Alexreport please edit all the Ojota here to Ojoto. They are more than 3 Ojotas here yet you are reporting about Ojoto.

Thank you

Pay your respect or better still keep shut.
Was she responsible for road development during her time in life?
She was a good teacher to us here in University of Jos on her short visit, a mother and friend to many. So like I said earlier, if you have nothing good to say keep quiet.

A very humble and nice lady.

What I did when I applied for PR is to contact a police officer from Nigeria, he scanned the form to me, I signed it, added my fingerprints and my passport photo and scanned the document back to him. He scanned my Police Clearance certificate to me the next day. I think my husband said he charged 15k or so(for the two of us). If you check the express entry thread , inspector moshood’s phone number will be given to you if you ask.

Thank you for your response. My question is actually regarding citizenship application and not PR. I called IRCC and was told that you will only need it if after you became a PR, you stayed in a country for 183 days.

Not sure you need one. If you had submitted one when applying for PR, which I am sure you did, you won't need to submit another. There maybe some "ifs" though; if you had lived in some other country (ies) before becoming a Canada PR then you would need police report from all those countries.

Things might have changed though, but as at March 2020, I believe I read it in one of their citizenship documents. I might be wrong too, I am open to correction

Thank you for your response. Any other input from someone who filed recently would be appreciated.

Hi all. For those who recently applied for citizenship, did you submit your Nigerian police clearance certificate and how can one get Nigerian police clearance certificate from Canada.

Thank you

Hello, I just got a clearance certificate done by proxy (with someone else's fingerprints and signature). This isn't my first time though of getting one, but the first one my fingerprints were used. I'm wondering whether I'll have issues when applying for a visa and if attaching the fingerprinted form is necessary for the validity of the certificate. Thanks

You are on your own. They will match your fingerprints with the submitted.

Hello everyone. Please my friend is looking for housing in Ontario. Areas of interest; Mississauga, North York, East York, Markham. Please we will appreciate any help we can get in this regard; a room mate willing to share a 2 bed, an agent, anyone that has available housing etc. She has checked kijiji and rent faster and they’re pricey + she hasn’t seen something she wants.
Thank you guys for all your help.

P.S she’s in Canada right now. Thanks.
PM me for phone number of a Nigerian realtor/agent within GTA. Thanks
