Is it OBTC Pension Managers that will process your application? please pension funds is not allowed. i remember when i wanted to do saskat.... provincial nominee in january 2014 it was one of the allowable source of funds but then when you get to Federal level, it is not allowed. please dont let them deceive you. your 25 percent is even allowable after you have resigned.

Pension fund is allowed. I went to my PFA ( IBTC Pensions Managers) to confirm if only 25% of my account balance can be considered as POF for Canada PR Visa. I was informed that the total balance in my account would be considered. That though 25% is considered for those that are out of work and still in Nigeria. 100% is considered for those applying for Canada PR.

please no one seems to notice my question. what is accomodation and living expenses like in toronto. never heard of anyone settling there but i want to go fully into IT though been a banker(operations and internal control) all my life with IT degrees and certifications. i want to also brush myself up in IT by attending school over there, my interest is IT SECURITY

1. IT is still good in Canada. Toronto, Ontario is number 1 for IT jobs. Your Bsc certificate wouldn't carry much weight .. your experience and professional certificate would matter most.
2. You as the principal applicant would have to complete your landing first irrespective of if you all land together or not. You would have a time limit for everyone to complete the landing process though, and your family can return to Nigeria when pr card has been received, but they cant be away for more than 2years in 5.
3. Agents does not determine how fast your application would be completed. Much depends on visa office and personal circumstances of candidates. Things seems to be faster now due to the express tag. There is a thread on nairaland dedicated for just that. i.e DIY.
4. Bros..you need money. Not only for savings or to fulfil application conditions, but for your first 6months of survival on average in Canada.

What is accomodation and cost of living like in Toronto?
I am looking for a school for masters in iT SECURITY. please suggest. If I can get in Toronto good if not there is MITS in UOIT. Please suggestions are welcomed.

I had a wonderful reading experience. Now i am already feeling like i am in canada. i so love that country. My immigration process started since 2006 october. 11 years after i am still pursuing my dream. I hope it comes to logical conclusion this year. i just did my meds and update. I will be back to ask more questions when my visa is granted and trust me as soon as my visa is granted, i am off to canny. will not spend a day more in naija.

I have done all sorts that I can easily classify under NOC 2171 - IT Consultant. Have done a bit a web development as well. However, my Masters degree is in Web Technologies and Security. Anyone with IT Security experience in Canada?? I am wondering if this will be the right opportunity for me to develop that part of my career.
