The bulk of xiaomi fans or marketers as they are beginning to appear couldn't bash the phone when they realized the specs was a direct match to their all conquering redmi note 9s or 9 or whatever, now they are after the ui , and lack of updates,

Whereas a question posed to them hasn't been answered for days now , when a xiaomi phone gets broken is there a quick fix or replacement ? Y'all should provide a suitable answer .

If given a choice I'll definitely take a xiaomi over a tecno of similar price , but I'll never attempt it , if I'll be using only one device during that period because I can't go two days without using my phone let alone two months say wetin happen .

You are obviously a marketer, if you have followed transsion well you will no they don't provide android updates to thier phones. Only infinix note 5 got android updates because it was under the android 1 programme. The former flagships zero 6 didn't get any android update, camon 12 didn't get any update. So I'm very sure the zero 8 won't get any android update. So don't give yourself false hope.
Their ui is trash, if you use miui, color os, pixel experience, one ui, oxygen os
you will know what is ui. Especially that superwallpaper feature in miui, dope af.

I've used a Google pixel 2xl , can't list the numbers of ios devices I've used and the one I'm presently using , added with my s10plus .

The bs you all tend to delude yourself about one special ui , I haven't used miui but I dont think it would be light years better than the chameleon os of infinix. And that miui no even reach oneui one bit .

I've used a lot of devices but I either dont use them long enough to upgrade or update their os or i simply dont care, only time i update an os is when I'm buying the phone , my present s10plus is in pie and the only thing I miss is screen record and one or two things I saw they listed but I no even get the sub to spare for such things I rather watch broad shaggi with that sub.

Y'all shouldn't be overly critical of something , he asked it anyone has used it and said person should review the product the next thing when you fit do na to give an unsolicited personal opinion of your previous experience with the brand , I can't advise anyone to buy any transsion device other than the Infinix zero 8 .

That's from the Xiaomi thread store. You see how much be the Redmi Note 8 pro abi. No dey argue unnecessarily. Infinix has been refining their ui. So i expect this recent version of their ui to make sense. I agree with the updates sha. No be everybody send updates though. I've never updated any phone i own to the latest android version. Transsion been no get sense. But they are starting to have sense. Very soon sef, they too would start rolling updates. Xiaomi is making them wise up. When many infinix users start complaining about updates, they'd start rolling them. Users have complained about their chipset. They introduced a good chip on the note 7 and we're seeing same here on the zero 8. For what it packs, zero 8 is a worthy competitor to the Redmi note 9 pro

Please ask that guy if the redmi note 8 has the 90hertz refresh rate , the 144 touch latency, and if it has a physical service center in Nigeria , I like xiaomi more but what this zero 8 brings to the table no xiaomi total package can match it , it's not just to bring the phone what about after sales services , how can I easily get a pouch screen guard and other things , let a lone parts of the phone if it goes bad

Its totally fine to be more intuned with Samsung and Apple. In all honesty, its totally fine to be intuned with techno and co. After all its your money the end. I believe certain Xiaomi fans here are too overly critical about transision. Although their arguments can be sound but it has quickly grown to be petty in some regards, as they are always in every transision thread which is totally unnecessary.

I have used a Samsung, Xiaomi, Transision and Iphone. I usually lean towards Iphones nowadays because of its easy accessibility with mac laptops. I hope to get a Huawei phone in the future hopefully. I am really don't have specific loyalty to one particular brand but at the same time I like defending the underdogs especially when they are misunderstood.

I think our thoughts are aligned .

I won't say this is the best advice but I believe what I'll share is better than what most have said .

Personally I don't like transsion products but I think the choice is between the infinix and the umidigi , I haven't use the later and still the question you've asked in the instance of a fault what should you do , if that question can't be answered then it's best you go for the infinix . The umidigi may have better ram management and could be slightly faster but trust me in the instance of a bad screen can you stay 4- 6 weeks without using your phone ?

Check their thread and ask where to get their parts and if they give you a satisfactory answer then go for it , if not just stick with the lesser known evil .

The xiaomi would have made for a great option but the 9a are really not too great devices it's like the lowest of the low .

But can you do without 4g that's another thing , hmmmm na wa for that money you for kukuma go buy fairly used phone o , or save more , than buy something that could be problematic in the future or leave you unhappy .

The market share there goes to show how quickly they rose in just 10 years. They are currently at a much better position that certain phone companies who have been around for way longer. And again they did so with little or no adverts or brand ambassadors. Same thing cant be said about Transision.

Your second paragraph is not true. check out the market shares of xiaomi in Europe, check out It out in china, Russia etc. you cant be no 4 in world wide market share just because of India

Now listen very carefully. The person I quoted was like Samsung should not be compared to Xiaomi. And I said very clearly thats not true. That if you put a samsung phone of the same price range with a Xiaomi phn. 9 times out of 10, The Xiaomi phone its better. This alone is enough reason why they should and can be compared.

Now antutu and dxomark statements isnt as straight forward as you make it sound. Because there are phones with better ratings there which actually have better performance and picture quality than those below. So it can go both ways. And most times it all comes down to software, which is where I believe Xiaomi are making great stride with MIUI 12. My point isnt about who makes better flagship phones rather its about if Samsung and Xiaomi phones can be compared. Insinuating that it is an insult to do so is what I find as a display of ignorance and just trying to play to the gallery and belittle the quality devices Xiaomi makes.

I dont know what ads you saw them complaining about on those india forums. But to the best of my knowledge Xiaomi phones don't have ads except those ads are coming from other apps you install yourself. What you can say they do have is mi apps or what some may consider bloatwear. But they don't take too much space and you don't have to use them.

Lastly, if anyone has and is eating into anyones market share so far and probably in the future its Xiaomi.

I just did a simple google search and I discovered that Xiaomi's european market share is about 10% .

As evident in the strategy of oneplus, give people value for their money and you need no ad campaign they'll patronize you irrespective of where you are . That's the reality.

It's tough comparing an entire brand offering but if you say at each price point then you're right xiaomi will make for a better or more preferred option . My focus was on their flagship series and what you said about the dxomark is right , I dont rate their scores highly because they are overly critical of products from lg yet they have better cameras than most Chinese phones . Even the samsung they blab about I use it and I can say I prefer the camera of iphones to it .

I haven't used a xiaomi or Huawei device , so I can't be overly critical of things I dont use , I like their products though I just find myself more intuned with samsung and apple offerings.

Why is this a good move? It levels the playing field, and will ensure end users have good alternatives, a win-win situation if you ask me.

Bashing the price , what where they expecting .

Beefing the number of camera modules , when they haven't taken a picture with it.

Bashing the software optimization as if the miui is light years ahead , something India's complain is buggy , ads laden amidst other gripes .

I dont like transsion because of their previous antics but yeah this is one hell of a device for the price it's being offered .

You're also a reasonable guy , and since you say you're a tech enthusiast surely if you have the 300k I'm pretty confident you'll know what to do with it . But my one advice dont ler reviewers mislead you, every reviewer I've watched and followed review devices with a certain bias and this sentiment is subtly reflected in their reviews , most wouldn't take notice of it .now I focus on what I need in a device and since I dont game apart from dream league , I swear I can use any device I like .
