Pls no hate here, I don’t really comment on thread like this, but I must say this with all honestly, all my life I’ve always use android from the scratch, until around March this year, when I had to do some stuff which android can’t handle, so I had to buy an iPhone with the hope of reselling after been through with it. Pls right now no other OS stronger and durable compare to IPhone.
Before you attack me and meet your Waterloo, I currently own both Samsung S8 and IPhone XR, on my life I don’t have joy each time I’m operating my Samsung, starting from the key pads to multi tasking. Dam iPhone beat androids hands down. The only different or regret is data consumption, iPhone consume more data than androids.

Lemme address something , I sell phones , I've personally used both phones you've mentioned , now unless you can categorically tell me what the XR can do that the s8 can't do albeit slower . Apart from snap picture in Portrait mode . Another thing is when comparing devices try to compare same devices within the same year . The XR is the longest iPhone I've used and I got it brand new from a seller on nairaland here . Other than the decent battery life and snappy processor, theres nothing really nice about it no offense. The camera is just ok , I can tell you x takes better pictures than it , the physical design is somewhat generic and its quite heavy , mine even fell one time when I took of the pouch but the heart attack I almost had made me never try that shit again , though there was no scratch or any defect .

Now when comparing screen quality , ignore that bs that XR screen is crappy can't be compared to the s8 at all , unless you bought a refurbished s8 . Yeah in almost every other category it beats it but the s8 is easier to use because of its smaller size .

There are four things I consider when buying a phone.
1 aesthetics of the device, e must fine
2 battery must be ok
3 screen must be amoled ( now )
4 the processor must be able to do serious multitasking and be very snappy .

I'm a fan of the XR I like the device but I don't see myself using it or the 11 because I really don't like LCD displays no offense.

And please still tell me the thing the XR can do that the s8 couldn't I'd just like to know please .

And lastly when using a new iOS device theres a thrill this sweetness , I experienced it when I was using my iPad 2 many years ago , that was my first iOS device , that shit they play gangster Vegas and soccer very fluid and the screen size hmmm was the bomb , not even forgetting the mad battery , that was one of thr very best devices I ever used .

Yeah iphone take very beautiful pictures so too does Huawei and google pixel devices , the only thing iphones have for it is prestige . But I've come to realize that getting a very premium android device has its perks too , ever held or seen that black reflective colored galaxy note 20 ultra , no unbiased person will pick an iphone over that ... but wetin concern me self , use your iphone in peace

I have tons of friends who uses 11 pro and pro max , but one of my friend uses the latest note 20 ultra that gold colored one , I swear gan everybody they dread that phone . it is not a software issue, actually they are trying to work around it using software. That's why the two updates made to fix it did not allow the user dim the phone completely. I think it's a problem with the earlier manufacturing batches. And it's not actually a slim chance. Many users who reported this are the very early batches. I am not sure it still persists in the latest batches though. That's why Oneplus had to replace the devices for the affected ones. SuperSaf got his replaced too. Someone on GSM arena got his replaced twice.

See these things happen with phones all the time but we shouldn't deny if there is a problem. Though amoled screen have an inherent issue to have screen burn faster than LCD screens but this is not an issue of a screen burn. That's why what you can do now is to avoid the earlier batches to avoid stories that touch coz once you buy here there is no office to return to. Oneplus 7 pro was oled too and we did not have this issue! Samsung has always been oled yet no complaint of such.

Hope this clarify things. And as for the seller who is denying there is a problem coz you want to sell, well there is God o.

Ignore those dudes , that's how one commented on my post , requesting for imei for an iPhone 7 and 8 chip unlocked, then later he priced both 50k and told me he was doing me a favor, that those devices since they weren't sprint unlocked they weren't valuable, irony was that even the 7 , I still sell am pass his miserable 50k . And I learnt something very important in this phone biz , most persons no just dey , like someone pricing s10 plus I'm nigeria for 120k , I just laugh ignore am .
