Fashola get craze for head if truly he said something like this. Is this the first time Jonathan would visit Lagos? Is this the first time there would be robbery attack in Lagos? Fashola must be high on Buhari's cow br*ast milk. |
onatisi:If Oshiomole should see the comment I quoted, he'll be forced to buy a t-shirt and chinos trouser. |
Imanuelle:Oga, walahi, you should be arrested. Hahahahahahah life-time free shirt schorlarship with the boys scout. *Laughs and falls into the river. |
--continuation-- All that occupied her mind throughout the night was how to pacify her son and truely, she couldn't come up with a way to apologise, neither could she drag herself into the boy's room, even though she knew he won't allow her into his room. And for the first time, she had a two minute devotion in her room, after which she entered the bathroom to take her bath. She does less cooking in the morning, because her son loves eating ready made foods in the morning. The only day she cooked in the morning was always on Saturdays, when Chris woul be home all through. She re-emerged a few minutes later, got dressed after which she grabbed her key, handbag and walked out of the room. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw Chris seated on the three seater couch in the living room, a plate of corn flakes in hand. Even though he was not yet dressed completetly in , he still had his trouser on, as well as his shoes. "Good morning mum." He greeted. "Good morning my prince." She replied as she walked into the dinning and saw a plate of dried cornflakes, a plate of powdered milk and a flask on the table. "Is this for me?" She asked with a smile. "Yes." He replied as he picked the remote pressed a random button and the channel changed. "That's very sweet of you, but you know I don't like cornflakes." She replied. "I know you don't, but you like my own." He replied as he changed the channel. "Chris, I think you need to reduce the rate at which you watch sports channels and musical channels. Try business reports and news channels." She advised. "Remember, you want to be a business man and you need to know how it is done." And reluctantly, he switched to one of the channel's his mother mentioned. "Am sorry about yesterday." She said when he was done eating. He ignored his mother, adjusted his trouser, wore his shirt, buttoned up, put his tie on his neck and within a minute, he was done looking handsome. No wonder his picture has been adorning the school's sign posts everywhere. "Chris, I am talking to you." She said holding his hands. "Mum please, I am running late already. We have a seven o'clock class." He replied. "Even if you have a five o'clock class, am I not the one to drive you to school?" She asked. "When you cared less about how I survive. The other day I left home angrily, did you ask he how I got to school? No. And yesterday, you slapped me so hard. A wicked woman can not slap her step son or adopted son like that." He replied angrily. She wished she didn't talk to him that morning. Because talking to him only opened his wounds. "Chris, do you realise that I am your mother?" She asked. "Now tell me, how did you get to school that day?" "I had to go to my classmate's house on the next street, his dad drove us to school." He replied. "Are you making friends with bad boys?" "Mum, I said my classmate and not any random person in this neighbourhood. Moreso, even if my making friends with bad boys guarantees that I would get driven to school, why shouldn't I make friends with them? Afterall, you don't care." He said angrily. Picked his school bag, hung it on his back and made to walk out of the house, but she held her. "I love you so much my happiness. You know I am ready to do anything to make you happy." She said. "And moreso, I was also mad at you that day because you walked out on me." And while speaking to the summit, the Managing Director of Godson group, Mr Daniel Martins stressed the need for business owners and managers to take less risks while trying to divert their business direction. He also stressed the need for every business to have a strong financial backing with the insurance company... The business reporter said and at the same time, Christopher turned to look at the television where a man in his early thirties was speaking at a function. He himself could recognise about three business men in the hall. "Mum, is that the Daniel Martice I saw you write about in your diary?" He asked. Tina angrily picked the remote, switched off the tv and grabbed Christopher's hand. "You are running late." She said and dragged him out of the house. --to be continued-- |
CHAPTER 9 __________________________________________ If crying could kill then Serena should be dead hours ago. She was lying on her bed tears dripping out of her eyes like water is coming out of a waterfall. If anybody had told Jake would deny her even if the face of death, she probably would contact the police to arrest such a person, because she believed if she could stick her neck anywhere to stand by him, then he should have no problem reciprocating the gesture. And to say Jake was with her five minutes before the arrival of her father, and he was begging her, so why the change? What made him change his mind? "Don't you know how impatient the male folks are when it comes to women? You kind of put the guy in suspence amd when he could take it no more, he did what was best for himself." A voice her subconscios told her. "But is denial the next thing? If truely he loved my girl, he should take the risk and face the consequence without fear." Another voice said. "Can I ever force myself on any guy?" she asked herself a bit loud and just then, a knock sounded on her door. Even though she wanted to ignore whoever was at the door like she had always done, but when the knocks became persistent, she had no choice than to unlock the door. Outside her room stood her father. She gasped in suprise because she couldn't remember the last time her father entered her room, maybe when she was sick. She also wasn't expecting him so soon. She expected him to still be angry with her, so what does he want? "Can I come in?" He asked with a smile, even though it is not genuine. She quickly stepped aside and opened the door wider for him and he walked in, admiring her room as he sat on the only chair beside her reading table. "When did you furnish your room?" He asked smiling. "Its been a while sir. There is no furnishing, just my bed and the carpet." she replied cleaning her eyes with the hem of her top. "It looked beautiful. You also used my money to paint your room?" He asked. "Dad! You bought the paint." she replied. She tried her best not to smile, but her voice choked in the process. "Have you been crying?" He asked when he noticed her wet eyes. "No dad." she replied. "Are you crying because of that boy?" He asked. She quickly shook her head in the negative. Then, she went on her knees. "Dad, I know you must be disappointed in your only daughter by now, but dad I never for once forced myself on him. He lied. His coming here today was to beg me and see if I would agree to date him. Daddy, believe me." She cried. "I believe you." He said. She quickly looked at her father as if he just spoke a foriegn language. "I know you can never force yourself on a man. The kind of training I gave you is not the one that can make you force yourself on a man. But when you look at the level of obsession from your end, one would conclude that you desperately want him for yourself. You have his pictures everywhere, even in your head." He explained. "Another thing is, if you look at it critically, he doesn't love you one bit while you love him a lot. The way he denied you said it all, up to the point that he painted you black. But I don't blame him anyways, he protected himself. He was afraid of what I can do to him, because he knew dating at this level is unheared of. Even though I won't mind having him as a son-in-law in the not so distant future." He went on. Serena was no longer listening to her father, all she could do was shed tears and she could feel her tear gland running out of tears the next minute. When all hope was lost, God suprised her. Even though, whatever made her father change his mind, she didn't know, but she suspected her brother, even though she had no idea if he had left the office, and the staffs in the house are not allowed to interfere in the issues concerning the family, since they are not being paid for that. "And one thing you forgot to do is tell me about the Agodi garden episode. Even though I have forgiven you and it is now up to you to move one, face you exam, get it done and secure admission. Spending another one year at home is bad for you and I." Her father explained. "Daddy, I promise to be of good behaviour. I won't let you down. I won't get myself entangled with boys. I have a point to prove to you." She said. "I hope so." After a few more minutes of begging, she knew her father's visit to her room had a reason. She knew he didn't believe all she said. She knew he no longer trusts her. But he pretended to be on her side so that she will have an enabling environment to prove herself as not being promiscous like Jake had painted her. She knew her father may ignore her greeting the next morning, but the fact that she has a second chance, she was ready to win his trust. A message flew into her phone that moment from Jake. It reads; Stephanie and I are dating now. You pushed me away She hissed. -tbc- |
I hate it when people lie to win people's soul. When Jesus was on earth, he never visited Hell or heaven before he converted so many people, same with other men of God in the bible. Why is it that our own people are the one travelling to hell as if they are travelling to Russia? This would be maybe the third christian that has visited hell and returned to share their experiences like I cared. And I think this lady, she is a lady, isn't it? As a hell traveller and hell tourist, she should endeavour to get a kodak camera, so that on her next visit, she would record everything and post in on youtube. |
______________________________________ Serena looked in horror as her father beckoned on her to move closer. "I guess you are Jake. Isn't it?" Mr Oluwole asked. "Yes sir. I am Jake." He replied giving Serena a searching look, but she quickly brought her face down when she caught him staring. "You guys are friend I suppose." "Yes sir. She is my very good friend." he replied. "That's good. I learnt you finish from the same secondary school, plus you now school in the United states." Jake was begining to feel uncomfortable with the questions being asked, but who is he to complain. "We finished from the same school, but I am a year ahead of her. And yes sir, I school in the states." He replied smiling at Serena. Oluwole Thomas thought for a few seconds, breathe in deeply before asking the next question as Jake had expected. "I don't know if I can have five minutes of you time." "You can sir." And together, they walked to the back of the house and sat in one of the two sheds in the garden pretending as if Serena is invincible. "So, what plans do you have for my daughter because I have heard so much about you. And I think I am convinced that, there is more to your friendship." Mr Oluwole asked. Serena at the time was pouring out drinks to cups for the two men and on hearing the question, her heart flew away and she felt herself floating on air and the next second, her heart flew into her chest and her rib cage shut with a loud thud. "Take it easy." He cautioned his daughter who as a result of being carried away had filled a cup to the brim and still managed to add to it until the content spilled at it entered the cup. "I don't really know what you are talking about sir. I mean Serena and I are friends, nothing more." Jake replied. Serena carefully covered the wine bottle and made to walk out of the shed, afterall, the only thing that could save her from more trouble is if Jake decides to tell her father how he felt about her, even though she was convinced that he could only talk of himself, as far as she is concerned, he should just tell her father that they are friends which settles it. And with her mind already made up, she had vowed to kiss him at any given opportunity, even if it won't last a second. "Young lady, you are a part of this meeting too. Take a sit." Serena reluctantly sat down and her eyes met with his but she quickly looked away. She couldn't understand or explain what the look in his eyes represent. "You are just friends with Serena?" Oluwole Thomas asked to be sure. "Yes sir." Jake replied confidently as he raised his glass to him mouth, glared at Serena before taking a sip. Definitely, Jake is far from being afraid of whatever the outcome of the meeting could be. Maybe he has something hidden up his sleeves afterall. "Are you aware that, a fight almost broke out here three days ago between my daughter and her friend, Stephanie." "Oh! Really?" Jake exclaimed. "Yes, but do you know why they almost fought?" Oluwole Thomas asked. "Not at all sir, unless you tell me." Jake replied. "They said something about kissing. It seemed one of them kissed you and the other was angry about it." "Sorry to cut in sir, Serena is the angry one of the two right?" Jake asked. That was when it dawned on Serena where the conversation was heading to. Jake was ready to deny her to the last extent in front of her father. "Sir, am sorry to say this, but I don't understand Serena any longer. We were very good friends before and after I left for the states. We talked almost everyday like friends do, but to my suprise, Serena started acting like she is obsessed. I mean, we are just friends, but she would have none of that." Jake explained while Oluwole Thomas' jaw twitched as he looked at his daughter in anger and at the same time, admired Jake's fluency. "Are you saying Serena is forcing herself on you?" The elderly man asked angrily. "Sort of." Jake replied. "Oh my God! Jake!." Serena gasped as she fell to her knees. "Daddy..." "Will you shut up and don't daddy me." Her father barked at her angrily that Jake had to shift his chair backwards. For the first time he thank God for giving him the sense to deny Serena, because he couldn't imagine what would have happen if he hadn't. "You can go." With raised voice, he pointed to the exit and politely, Jake exited the shed and two minutes later, he left the garden and headed to the front of the house. "Daddy, he is lying." Serena cried. "He is lying? I know he is. But the obsession kind of told me he isn't. You have hundreds of his pictures and I doubt if he has one of yours. You see..." "Da..ddy." He voice broke. "You see your life? Running after a boy when you ought to be running after your UTME exam." He shook his head before returning to the house a broken man. END OF CHAPTER 8 |
Barcanista, keep it up. |
eye4eye:Like seriously, in as much as you would have changed so many people's views about APC and let them know what the party is bringing to table if voted into power, you are busy rubbishing someone's write up without facts. From your comments, it is obvious that you know the truth, but the fear of your fellow hungry Berem will come here and do the same. Omenka will come here and blast Barcanista, Obiagelli is no way different and you claim you are bringing change. If this is how debates are done, will you look forward to any of them? When a candidate talks, it is the duty of his opponent to counter his points with facts. Think about your future. |
Oga, they don use your head play o. Like seriously, I don't believe we have sharp thieves in Nigeria anymore. She needed money for her birthday and the next thing is to come to a hotel? She no knw sey na to UnCloth remain once she entered the room? Btw, is her birthday important to that extent? Can't she just forget about this year's and hope for a better next year? But the confusing aspect was your oga's call. I mean, if you oga didn't call you, how will they cart away your belongings? I think coincidentally, everything worked together against you. Sorry for the loss oga, God will return them to you in ten folds. |
HelenBee:Buhari Jonathan |

I hear sey you are a super mod, which means, you also moved the thread to the fp. Haba! Oga, you be bad person o. Kilode! No make angry boys come beat you for house o. johnpalmer774:Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. So far he is a citizen of this country, he can say whatever he likes about the state of the nation. Speaking against Card reader doesn't make him anti masses. He must had a reason for saying such. The reason which we don't know. Jumping into conclusion doesn't that he is a PDP wrong is very wrong. If I say they shouldn't use card reader, does that make me anti masses too or a PDP thug? Hell no. Is every Nigerian in support of card reader? |
Olanireti:When you arrive at the cinema 5hrs before schedule, you'll definitely witness them set the stage and everything. We are setting the stage for people to fight by clearly letting you know the reason why this one wants that one dead. |
Shebarh:The time zone where I live is 6hrs behind what you have there. I am firing my phone. |
I hate it when people generalise without thinking. What is it with "yorubas will not vote GEJ" What reasons have you got? No yoruba in his cabinet? How does that concern me? The tribes who are in his cabinet, were they able to affect the lives of their people? And to those who fought for Jonathan in 2011, they are fighters, that's why they fought for him. All I know is I didn't fight for him in 2011. No yoruba in his cabinet is okay for me, afterall, all those Stella Oduah, Alison Madueke are enriching their pockets. So what are you saying. @op, have you spoken to a common yoruba man? Did he complain about the cabinet? |
garrix8:And if he supports the use of card readers he is what? An APC pastor isn't it? You are loosing it. |

CHAPTER 4 Adeola was suprised to see her husband in a very excited mood tonight as he smiled to himself almost every minute. Even though he still kept to himself inside the guest room, she had sneaked in on him a couple of times. She was dying to know why her husband was happy, afterall, he also ate her food this evening which could also mean he was on the verge of forgiving her and just a little push(apology) from her will settle their differences. She walked into the guest room dressed in a white see through nightie. Even if he won't be moved by my apologies, my body will move him. She had concluded as she sat on the bed. He raised his face only to see her seated and just as if he had seen a ghost, he sat up immediately. "I got to the dinning table now only to discover that you have eaten. Why didn't you call me so I can keep your company?" She asked. He looked at her like she was drunk before taking his eyes off. "Baby, are you still angry with me?" She asked as she put her shaky hand on his knee. "Look here, I am in a very happy mood tonight, so please, don't spoil my mood. Because seeing you alone is threatening my happy mood." He raised his voice slightly and she gasped. "Daniel, my presence is threatening?" And just like he expected, tears had gathered in her eyes, threatening to fall. "Just tell me you are joking..." She was interrupted by his ringing phone and with the way Daniel rushed to answer the call and the enthusiasm in his voice as he spoke, Adeola knew the call must be important. "Hey Jim" Daniel said and Adeola could feel an arrow pierce her heart. "Yeah Dan." Jim replied calmly. "So, how far? Did you see him?" Daniel asked. "Of course. I met with him, got a number with which we can communicate. Basically, I am done with the first stage which is meeting with him and gaining a percentage of his trust." "Thank God. So, what about the package?" Daniel asked. "I gave it to him also." Daniel glanced at a crying Adeola who was sitting on the floor and smiled at her. "Are you alone?" He heard Jimmy ask. "Yes, I am." He replied looking at his wife. "You sure?" "Of course." He replied. "Good. I saw Tina today, she was in my neighbourhood minutes before I went to visit her son. Her reaction at the mere sight of me was very bad. She kind of lost her balance and almost passed out." Jimmy explained. "Even you? She is not important right now, my son is. We push on gradually and when the boy knows who I am, we take legal action into having my son back." Daniel replied. "That's very wrong man. She is equally important, afterall, she is the mother of your child. Moreso, I ain't saying you should make up with her or something, but believe me, legal action or no legal action, she won't release the boy to you. Remember the nature of her job, who do you think she is making friend's with? All they need to do is twist the constitution and you'll be in soup." Jimmy explained while Adeola looked on in horror. "So, what do you suggest I do? He found himself asking. "Good. You have to make up with Tina, let her know you can be trusted afterall. Reach an agreement to let her visit you with your child, you visit them too, offer to pay their bills. Remember, she is still single, who knows maybe the boy has been scaring men away from her. I mean, who won't feel threatened dating a lady with a twelve year old son? The boy alone could beat such man to stupour if he misbehaves." Jimmy explained calmly. "Are you saying..." Daniel asked and allowed him to complete it. "You get it. The little act you two indulged in back then affected her life, remember she took a different career path, but after the pregnancy issue, she had to leave school, this same act of yours, she beared the consequence alone. In all, you have no moral justification to ask for your child, not even with a strong legal backing. Afterall, we are yorubas." Jimmy explained. "Are you advocating for her or what?" Daniel asked. "If it looks like I am, then so be it. But remember the situation in your marriage, Christina would be willing to help you, provided to treat her right." "Okay, I'll think about it." "Yeah, please do because Tina is about to selflessly take you out of being barren. Something Adeola couldn't give you despite the love you both shared, Tina might give you regardless of the hatred that you have for each other." Jimmy added. "See you in office tomorrow.q Daniel said. "My regards to Adeola." Daniel looked towards his wife and saw her staring at him intently. "Baby, is my position in this house being threatened?" She asked. "Ask yourself that question." He replied hotly. --to be continued-- |

Lilyomi:Like you missed something. Jimmy was trying to save himself so that his secret with Adeola won't come into open. Remember, he was the one who impregnated Adeola and the abortion which followed damaged her womb. Even if Daniel wants to kill Tina, Jimmy would be willing to do it. |
shankies215: seunviju:See them! Big big ole. |
Oga Jezuzboi, you can mention o. Haba! You sure sey no be every Nairalander you invited up there? You go run if people flood this thread o. I don't want to make promise that I may not fufil. Olanireti:Sorry bro, I am very stingy when it comes to that. |
More updates to drop later in the day. I think there is an improvement in the area of comments and views and I feel encouraged. Lets kip it up. |
Olanireti:You know what one yoruba adage says? Its says; no matter how bad things(condition or whatever) are, there will always be someone who will stand by us nonetheless. In your case you have a pillow to turn to. I actually slept with a battallion of them on my bed. (not pillows o) *winks. |
--continuation-- Tina leaned on her car as she awaited Mark outside in the parking lot. She had promised herself that she would drive him to his hotel tonight, even if it required the use of force and everything seemed to be working in her advantage, because, the SUV given to him by the Lagos state government is quite in the the parking lot, but the driver was nowhere near it. The time was 7:18pm and her patience was wearing off, because, she felt the need to spend at least one hour with him to know how he was faring at school and seek his advice on certain issues. As it was the tradition in their family for son to tell his mother everything bothering him and vice versa. Just when she opened the car door to hop in and probably drive away, she saw him walk out of the building with a femal field operative who was once in her team until she was demoted to work with computer analyst when she fought with Christina a few months ago. And even though Christina had forgiven her and apologised the moment she heard of the punishement given to her, but the lady had told her, she would fight until either of them resigned. She felt her blood boil with rage the moment she saw them, considering the way Mark was talking to her like they've known each other from heaven while the lady, Clara held him tightly and smiled seductively as the walked. "Why can't Mark be free with you like that? Don't you think you have lost your feminine touch? No man wants to associate with an almost a man lady." A voice in her subconscious asked. "Shut the fvck up and remain silent for ever." She thought. "Do something about your hair, you look weired with it. Dress like a lady and not a tomboy. You can still..." The voice stopped abruptly the moment Mark stopped in front of her. "Hey!" She said. "Why are you still around? Collins?" He asked. It was obvious that he had noticed that something might be on between herself and her boss. "I was thinking maybe I could drive you back to your hotel." She said. He gave her a searching look and he looked back to see, Clara fuming beside her high classed Range rover. Definitely, she was no match for Tina in terms of wealth, and from what Tina heared, she is also a single mother, even though her children lived with their father. "Why the sudden change? I mean, you should be angry about what happened earlier today." He replied. "I should apologise instead and I have decided to make it up to you, by driving you home." She replied. "Mark, lets go." Clara called from where she stood. "What are you discussing with her?" She found herself asking. "What? Are you jealous? Come on don't be. She just want to know more about America." He replied and she felt sick at the mention of America. "Oh! So, that means you are riding with her, isn't it?" Mark nodded his head and as she turned to enter her car, he suprisingly held her hand strongly, squeezed it and said; "Drive safely." She nodded and entered her car and drove away furiously. The voices in her subconscious started arguing as she sped on. "Will you two shut your mouth and think about thefuture for once?" "Sorry, our future is you hands." They replied. "Can't you two just die if you can't agree on the same thing for once?" she asked. "We die the day your heart and mind stopped working." ------- "Mum, you are back!" Christopher said when he walked into the living room one hour after his mother returned from work. "Yes I am, and where have you been?" She asked. "uhmm, was actually watching the MTN project fame and since we don't have light, I decided to just hang out a bit with Oga corper upstairs." Christopher replied. "How many times have I warned you not to associate with that man? He will influence you negatively. Do you want to start carrying girls at this age? Do you have what it takes to smoke? These things are not good for you, darling, please desist from associating with him." "Mum, I will only do that when you grant my request." He said. She knew the request would definitely be about knowing his father. "I want you to buy me a phone. A phone can keep me for hours and I won't visit oga corper again." He explained. "There is no way I am buying you a phone until you are in SS2. You have two years in between. Read your books, they can keep you busy for hours too." Christopher angrily walked back into his room, but he returned moments later when his mother told him he had a call. "Who is it?" He whispered. "Jimmy." She replied. His face lit up happily as he collected his mother's phone. Tina tried to ignore him until he overheard the Jimmy of a man ask her son if he knew Daniel Martins and immediately, Tina snatched her phone and switched it off. "How did he get my number?" She asked. "I gave it to him so we can talk." Christopher replied and out of reflex, she landed a resounding slap on his cheeks. END OF CHAPTER 3 |
Ziziola:I wasn't expecting the story to go this way either, but it had to, because its about time Serena stop running into trouble with her dad. But.... the next turn of event will suprise you o |
Idydarling:The bolded got me cracking. And btw, thanks for reading and also dropping your comment. But you'll be the one to talk to Jake. You know I am a man, but if you talk to him, he will listen to you. He can slap me if I try talking to him. |
shankies215:Don't mind my comment earlier, that was actually a too know on my part. I wrote that because I was thinking about the twist I could add to the story. But seriously, have you considered being a private CID or something? |
