I love MURIC for this development. there should be no exams stated for between 12-3pm on fridays and in between the daily prayer times. |
it's high time we do away with this nonsense. |
now your mum has passed away. i believe you should be able to think better, drop the dirty things you do in the bbnaija house by quiting and go back to your Lord by making sincere repentance |
so the time table is out. |
nice write up brother, jazaakallaahu khayran ![]() |
we understand that their methods are unique. if he is doing this in the masjid, then its very wrong according to the shari'aa of islaam because "Mosques are for worship, and it is forbidden to buy, sell and earn money therein. So it is not permissible to use the mosque as a means of advertising for companies, schools or anything else. As for advertisements about religious lectures and seminars, there is nothing wrong with that, so long as that is not an advertisement for a specific committee, company, institution or the like" And Allaah knows best From Fataawa al-Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn ‘Abd-Allaah Aal al-Shaykh (Majallat al-Da’wah, 43) |

EXTERIOR Toyota RAV4 The car is available in three-door as well as five-door versions. It shows the entire curve beautifully along with the high window, funky wheels, and less aggressive AWD vehicle. The rear door is hinged on the right. So, It may be problematic for the right-hand drivers. The car comes with 16” steel wheels, fog light and 70 series all seasons tires. The optional lockable center and short, front and rear overhangs add some extra oomph. Nissan X-Trail Are you looking for a boxier SUV? Here is your perfect car. The monstrous Nissan X-Trail is a crossover SUV. It has a large rear hatch, optional roof rack, light towing capacity and heavy looks. Although, X-trail is not economical compared to the RAV4, but on the road it is amazing. The car is fitted with 65 series all-season tires, large power sunroof, and alloy wheels. Toyota RAV4 vs Nissan X-trial round 2 goes to Toyota undisputedly.
|
Nissan X-Trail The SUV is perfect for five adults. The car is spacious but the feel of softness is missing somewhere. However, the peculiar instrument panels, extra glove box, easily accessible control, low mounted AC vents are other features, which are impressive. The chassis of the car is strong and includes all the safety features like dual front airbags, electronic brake-force distribution or anti-lock braking system. Toyota RAV4 vs Nissan X- Trails round 1 goes to Nissan for sure.

Compact Sports Utility Vehicles are always very popular among the mass. Here, I am going to compare Toyota RAV4 vs Nissan X-Trail on many standards. Both the cars are famous for their value of the money features and excellent grip on the road. So, let see what the real facts about both are. If you are looking for an economical mid-size SUV that perfectly serves as a family cargo, Toyota RAV4 and Nissan X-Trail both are in the race with equal points. However, as we include the features comparison, the battle of Toyota RAV4 vs Nissan X-Trail is definitely interesting. Let us start the countdown. Toyota RAV4 The SUV is not exactly fit for five people as the fifth passenger can face small legroom. However, the interior of the car has a number of features like power window, keyless entry, enough storage space etc. The carcass of the SUV is just like any other modern car. Power locks, foldable rear seats, shift lever, etc. add the extra charm. The SUV is entirely dedicated to the small family where the cargo area includes a cup holder, shopping bag hooks, tie down hooks and door panel pockets. The foldable rear seat adds extra space to the cargo area, which is quite versatile. Map-lights, digital clocks, seat’s height adjustment etc. appends additional features to make it comfortable on the road.

brightgreat:did you read this part THINGS TO CONSIDER IF YOU INTEND TO LAMINATE. Here is an advice for you… ¶ Use plastic bags with seal at the tips to save keep documents instead of laminating. ¶ If you intend to laminate, make sure you confirm the machine being used isn’t over heated or confirm via sampled work. ¶ You can opt for cold laminating machine instead of hot, this is proved to be safer. ¶ Keep original documents in a safe bag or case then carry duplicates around only if required to produce original should you bring out. ¶ Keep documents away from dirts, moisture etc. ¶ Even if you insist on laminating your documents, make sure you scan all documents and save it directly to your email or cloud drive such as Google drive, Dropbox etc. |
What Is Lamination? Lamination is a process whereby thin layers of transparent polythene nylon is joined together to protect paper documents such as certificates, results, testimonials etc. Why Do People Laminate Certificates? Here are some important reasons why people seem to laminate their certificates/documents below… 1. Lamination protects paper materials from getting damaged by fluid, dust/dirts, grease and hampered edges. 2. It’s believed that lamination elongates the life span of important document like certificates, results and so on. 3. It improves the strength, quality and appearance of the product. There are more to it but those are the most important reasons why people often opt in for a lamination. A lot of people make believe what isn’t supposed to be true. However, laminating certificates, pictures and other paper materials isn’t utterly advantageous, there are cons attached to it. Below are reasons you should not laminate certificates & other documents. HERE IS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT LAMINATE CERTIFICATES & OTHER DOCUMENTS. This is my opinion about lamination, I totally don’t agree with the”you must laminate your documents” to keep it longer, clean and safe. You shall be convinced after reading the disadvantage of laminating certificates and other documents.. CONS 1. OVERHEATING CAN DESTROY IT: For the hot laminating machine, if not properly operated can destroy your document for good. I’m not a victim of this but I must tell you the honest truth, lamination can burn down paper if not handled well. 2. IT FLATTENS SECURITY MARKS/SEAL: Some certificates contains prints, security seals, marks or stamps; when laminated, such certificates or documents is totally flattened out. Some organization, foreign institutes are so serious about these seals, flatten documents may not be easily verifiable or approved. 3. DUPLICATES GOES WRONG: In cases where you will have to duplicate certificates through photocopier, laminated certificates may/may not produces the best effect due to its reflective polythene texture. Distorted lines, text and colours may as well be created when photocopied. Now that you know how much damage you can do to your certificate when laminated, stay away from laminating legal documents cause lamination renders it invalid/altered in some important organization. THINGS TO CONSIDER IF YOU INTEND TO LAMINATE. In conclusion: In some developed countries verification of certificates is done with transcripts instead of the usual security marks whereas it contradicts here in Nigeria because we are lagging behind technologically, I will advise you not to laminate any of your documents, just be more careful with the way you handle and preserve it. Be wise. https://www.raphblog.com.ng/2015/09/why-you-should-not-laminate.html cc:crazyman, 1forall

Land Rover unveiled the newest Range Rover family member in time for the Geneva Motor Show. Set to slot between the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport, the 2018 Range Rover Velar is a midsize SUV that Land Rover Chief Design Officer, Gerry McGovern, calls “the avant-garde Range Rover” because “it brings a new dimension of glamour, modernity and elegance to the brand.” Embodying a “visually reductive design approach, McGovern notes it reflects an evolution of the Range Rover DNA and previews the next-generation of vehicles being readied by the automaker. Refinement redefined Available in base, S, SE, R-Dynamic SE, R-Dynamic HSE and First Edition trims, the new Velar matches its crisply styled exterior – a 0.32 coefficient of drag makes this the sleekest Land Rover ever – with full LED lighting and the marque’s first ever flush-retractable door handles. It features JLR’s Lightweight Aluminum Architecture used in the Jaguar F-Pace, sharing the same 113.2-inch wheelbase and rolling on a selection of 18-inch to 22-inch wheel/tire packages. Engine choices include JLR’s 247-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline-fired Ingenium 4-cylinder, a new 2.0-liter/180-horse Ingenium 4-cylinder turbodiesel – the first oil-burner to appear in any Land Rover – that makes a stout 317 lb-ft of torque and a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that cranks out 380 ponies. All are backed by an 8-speed, paddle-shift automatic transmission. The Velar’s underpinnings, which incorporate an optimized mix of steel and aluminum components, features conventional coil springs on 4-cylinder models while all V6s nets ride-height-adjustable full air suspension. Adaptive Dynamics damping control is standard across the lineup as is the Torque Vectoring by Braking system. All members of the Velar family come with a torque-on-demand all-wheel drive setup that uses a single-speed transfer case and an Intelligent Driveline Dynamics system that interfaces with the vehicle’s stability control, torque vectoring System and active locking rear differential (optional on V6 models). Touch Pro Duo infotainment system Whether trimmed in premium fabric or supple leather, the roomy passenger compartment of the new Range Rover Velar is a study in elegant minimalism. Well-formed and highly adjustable, the front buckets offer heating/cooling and up to 20-way power adjustability while the backs on the 40/20/40 rear bench offer power recline and can be folded to further expand the Velar's already generous 34.4-cu ft cargo bay. Highlighting the cabin is the first application of JLR’s Touch Pro Duo infotainment system that features a pair of centrally positioned 10-inch high-def touchscreens. Augmented by configurable rotary controllers for better functionality, it also includes a Wi-Fi hotspot. The Velar will come with or offer a full range of driver assists including adaptive cruise control and advanced tow assist. The 2018 Range Rover Velar goes on sale here this summer. Pricing will start at N19,085,625 for a base Velar 2.0 Si4, with the Velar S 2.0 Td4 turbodiesel opening at N22,198,125 and the Velar S 3.0 SC V6 kicking off at N24,448,125. Topping the range is the Velar First Edition at N33,860,625. https://www.kbb.com/car-news/all-the-latest/2018-range-rover-velar-revealed/2100003921/ cc: marpol

A few years ago, a popular Nigerian comedian jocularly said it was possible to cook a pot of soup in a typical Lagos traffic. As funny as it sounded at the time, it is, in fact, now a reality. A typical Lagos traffic can be likened to a market. Apart from shoes, belts, handkerchiefs, gala, plantain chips and drinks, a lot of unexpected items are being sold in Lagos traffic. This form of street trading has become a lot more sophisticated with the introduction of many items traditionally found in shops and open markets. If you are a newbie in Lagos, or a JJC, you don’t want to fall victim to unscrupulous traffic hawkers who go about swindling unsuspecting buyers every day . Here are five things you shouldn’t buy in Lagos traffic. 1. Phones The stories you hear about actually paying for a phone in traffic and then finding out that you bought a bar of soap or a fake contraption is not limited to computer village alone. In fact, it’s a known fact that the most expensive phones and gadgets are sold at giveaway prices in Lagos traffic. Don’t be surprised if a seller dangles an iPhone X to your face in traffic for a paltry sum of N50, 000. Before, you are tempted to buy it, think twice about the fact that it may be a stolen phone or a phone programmed to work for just 30 minutes. Who knows you may just be buying your phone, which was snatched in Lagos traffic! 2. Dogs/Puppies You do not know the type of diseases these dogs are exposed to so you can’t trust the seller. For many buyers, the breed of the dog is the attraction. And the sellers know this. This is why they take advantage of their gullibility by selling fake breeds of puppies at very mouth-watering prices. By the time you get to your veterinary doctor, you will be shocked to hear that the dog you just purchased for N30, 000 in Lagos traffic isn’t an Alsatian or even a crossbreed. So you cant trust a dog seller in traffic. 3. Recharge Cards Buying call units in traffic calls for extra caution. By the time you are done punching the digits the trader is gone and there is absolutely nothing you can do if it doesn’t work. Besides, there have been numerous reports of recharge card vendors selling fake units in traffic. If you can totally avoid buying recharge cards in traffic please do else thread with caution and buy at your own risk. 4. Aux cords/ Ear phones/power bank/ car & phone chargers Except you are in dire need of a charger, power bank or aux cord to power your phone or gadget do not risk it. But if you do buy it, bear in mind that you might just be buying a substandard product that may end up causing more harm than good to your device. The downside of buying these items in traffic is the fact that there is no after sale service, warranty and you almost can’t identify the seller a second time. You also can’t check its authenticity so don’t go trusting the seller. And if you are lucky to spot him in traffic again, you have absolutely no proof to nail him. 5. Some food items Now, this category is quite tricky because the food items are the fastest moving goods in traffic. So many people have bought rotten boiled eggs, rotten pastries, walnuts etc in traffic. If you must buy canned drinks, water, biscuits etc in traffic always check for the expiry date. It is so important. As usual do thread with caution, because the guy attending to you could be a potential armed robber or kidnapper. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/entertainment/naija-fashion/258212-five-things-shouldnt-buy-lagos-traffic.html cc: lalasticlala, DisGuy, justwise
