how much bro? Can you deliver to PHC? |
Oyindidi:A terrible thing. |
cherr:Try it first and the answer to your question would be very clear. |
Godjone:And you know this how? |
I remember during the Jonathan era when doctors went on strike. The then health minister Onyebuchi Chukwuma advised him to fire all resident doctors and Jona obliged. After much consultation the men (Jona and the Onyebuchi) came back to their senses and recalled the doctors. They want to reduce doctors to what they have done to teachers and police officers in this country. To every force, there would always be an equal and opposite reaction. Those handling the affairs of Nigeria think they are smarter than the rest of us. A time is coming when public office in this country would no longer be attractive because the followership would no longer be there due to frustration. Look at bastards like PHCN! One day...one day what befell Nitel and Water Board would come to them. The brains (not just doctors) are leaving the country in droves. A very bleak future awaits Nigeria. Politicians, please keep stealing. |
Throwback:That there is a complete and excellent view of the matter. I don't think anyone has put it better. |
decatalyst:I suggest CSI or IDx should be made a compulsory station and pass time view at our police stations. You go there, and you find those fortunate enough to have electricity watching telemundo and African magic. I am sure the facility to even take and zoom in on the CCTV pictures are lacking. We really are in trouble. |
YelloweWest:Too much "sense". No one would want to buy what the other has to sell. Each man would be feeling cheated by the other. |
moorevic:The boys that slapped him, are they married? I doubt it. Any married man would react differently to this story....not justifying the violence please don't get me wrong. |
adecz:What if she nagged him for about 3hrs? Or what if she screamed at the top of her voice calling the man's mother a witch? |
Laple0541:And who would take over the responsibility of feeding and providing the basic necessities for his family? You? I understand how annoying it is when things like this happen. But some women are foolish. If you know your husband, and you are doing your silly thing, you ought to know when the man is getting to that point. You better stop there. Some women would rave and nag until the 3rd slap is landed before they say "oops! this man is upset o". |
My advice: Marry only when your life depends on it. Marriage I think in most cases is more of a problem than whatever it is popularly said to be. This problem is avoidable. Stay on your own. Most dudes would have this feeling of being outside the right circle while they're single. But the very next day after the wedding suddenly irks them out of dreamland...what a mistake? |
I may be wrong (possibly things have changed) but applying on-line would most likely leave you driving around with those bank-teller and online application papers for as long as God knows when. The people are creating such a bottle neck due to corrupt practices. After an online application, you are supposed to be contacted to go there for biometrics...I am yet to see anybody who has had it like that. But let me not discourage you, go ahead. Print out your application and have a copy of your bank teller as proof. The road safety lacks adequate facilities for this era of licencing. In some states of the Federation, there is only one data capture center. You can then imagine what follows with so many people applying for the license and wanting it like there's no tomorrow. |
Wiseandtrue:Not all of them o. Some without the man's supervision are worse than the devil. Strange but true. |
ephi123:Intolerance and ego. |
MutantMetahuman:Both. |
Also if you have an alternator that isn't charging properly, it shortens battery life. A good European or American battery could last you 3 to 4 years with a sound alternator. But a Chinese or Korean battery would be a blessing if you get 2 years. How do you test your alternator at home? Start your car, let it run for about 3 minutes, remove your battery terminals while it's still running, turn on your headlamps (full blare), put on your AC, put on your radio and wipers. If the car stutters or goes off during any of these, your alternator is definitely not strong enough. |
Mr OP, kindly tell us what we should do when at night a fulani herdsman comes into the neighborhood armed. Let's really have your suggestion. Thanks. |
Victorakats:Bro, your point is valid. But don't forget; your passport is first seen before you are given an opportunity to show the type of person you are. |
adewumiopeyemi:People like Dino Melaiye |
No one is even talking about the cursed police officers who have helped the offenders to go free. The people should try their best to ensure at least every newspaper in the land carries this story and they should mention the names of the officers involved if possible. |
Effects of wrong tyre pressure: 1. Over-inflation especially above 40psi would most likely result in an explosion at high speeds especially on hot days. Reason being that the tyre pressure due to air friction (inside the tire itself) rises. Think of the late minister who died as a result of a tyre burst, I have my doubts he was actually using expired tyres. I think he was driving on over-inflated tyres. 2. Under-inflation especially below 28psi would increase your fuel consumption. If the front tyres are under inflated, it makes the power steering system work harder...more wear and tear. The best tyre pressure is that found on the sticker you see as you open the driver's door. |
There's also this movie starring Tom Hanks "Cast Away". Though I doubt if it was based on any true life events. In this movie, he was involved in an air crash which landed him in the sea. He drifted ashore aboard a raft to an uninhabited island and had to survive there I think for years before he was found. Just bringing it up here because of the survival efforts he made. |
All those threats issued to him by the company's agents are only aimed at one thing which is "covering all the impersonation, arm-twisting agreements and rip-off". Tell your friend not to back out. He should pursue the matter and not be too desperate and settle for what he didn't agree to when he parted with his 500k. He should go if invited by the company and tell them exactly what happened. If room is given for any negotiations, he should state clearly his expectations and negotiate with full confidence. If he is deported and gets back here, he should use every resource at his disposal to give the Nigerian agent (who took his money) sleepless nights and get his money back if possible. 65k a month is nothing to stay and suffer in a foreign land for. |
Nice thread....in any case, the language is Ibibio. The others mentioned are dialects... Not different languages. |
Possible causes:1.Borehole depth not down to the recommended 180ft so it's most likely getting "inflows" from some not so good ground water movement. My guess is that it qqqqqqqqq happened before in the past (possibly unknown to you). If certain that the depth is good then try the next point. 2. Try emptying all the water from the tank you just washed, leave it open and exposed to good sunlight for one or 2 days (you need to make alternative arrangements for water). In any case, try not to drink water from that source while the smell is still noticeable. |
Hmmm...now let's see what this one's new policy on tinted vehicles would be. Every IG has his own policy on that... |
I would order the execution (by way of assasination) of all persons who at one time or the other had been linked to stealing / mismanaging public funds. Once done, I would gladly step down. |
abdulaz:Just promise her marriage. |
FastShipping:The first reasonable comment on this topic. |
@ Adorable29: Sister, The issue is not just with the doctors strike. try to examine the matter without bias. As you claim they have said all patients should go and die, that's really wrong. They shouldn't have gone on strike my dear, at least not now. They should have waited for all patients in the country to get well before embarking on the strike. They should have ensured no patient remains in any hospital before doing so. Or could it be that you are saying that Doctors should not go on strike at all? But teachers, ASUU members, judiciary workers, NUPENG, PENGASSAN etc are free to do so? it seems in your world, they (doctors) don't have needs or bills to pay. Did you read in my post that their hazard allowance is 5,000 naira? Whoever pays someone that as a coverage to take care of patients with contagious diseases but is ready to spend billions as long as PDP wins in a particular election is a bigger terrorist to me. Fine, let him fire them. i hope he would be ready to fire all ASUU members because I am sure he is yet to (in practice) meet their demands. After that, it would be the school teachers (NUT), Then NUPENG, NLC etc. It never ends. Does that not tell you that it is not the trade unions but the government? How can the government alone be okay and every trade union or the entire citizenry be insane? The govt is like a dog chasing after its own tail....the cyclic motion never ends. |
