A few Lessons from this Result: 1.) In Nigeria, What You See IS NOT What You Get (WYS is not WYG) 2.) Nigerians are yet to emerge 'politically and democractically" 3.) Nigerians will still SUFFER BAD GOVERNANCE FOR A LONG TIME TO COME because they have chosen to sell their future for Crumbs of Money! 4.) The winner of an election in Nigeria will be that Man who has looted the Citizens Treasury the Most and who chose to dash them a fraction of it 5.) POVERTY is what dictates where the Nigeian masses Vote 6.) The result that selected Atiku is very disheartneing because PDP just made the job of Buhari one step easier. between Atiku and Buhari, it s a very easy choice for most people. No One, l repeat, No one trust Atiku beyond his nose. 7.) Nigerians are so unsophisticated, in thier thinking and choices! What stops them from collecting the Dollars of a bad candidate and voting for a good one? Donal Duke is an Aspirant, Sowore is an Aspirant, Moghalu is an aspirant.... all three would give Nigerian Masses better value than either of Kleptomanic Atiku or that Terrorist Fulani Herdsmen sponsor called Buhari. Sarkin:This is how PDP "KILLED" the Naira in early 2015! When you put too much Forex into circulation, you DEVALUE the Naira. That was exactly what happend after the election in 2015, when PDP has pumped too much bribery dollars (inlcuding Jonathan sharing Dollars to Obas and Cheifs) into circulation and the Naira went to over #500 to $1. They have started again. Somebody should tell me the kind of WORK that these criminals did, to be able to afford to share forex like that. I just hope Nigerians, including the greedy one who benefitted from the sharing, know that these people are ruining their future and investments, with such activities. Are you implying you want it higher? If YES, you can use what l estimated for you, and multiply by the number of coaches. You also said the plot is 100 by 200. Is that 100ft by 200ft for EACH PLOT? All the same, you have to read what l wrote and apply it to your own situation. One thing that might also be of help to you is to note that One bag of cement sets 40 - 50 Blocks If you divide your total number of blocks in that estimate l did for you, by 45 (average), that should give you approximate number of bags of Cement you would need for your blockwork. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Do the right things, at the right time. I dont know what you do for a living, your current age-range, your educational background, your family circumstances (commitments to siblings, parents, e.t.c) and your level of determination to not be poor again. I will assume you are doing okay for now. 1.) Eat less, Save more 2.) Defer your enjoyment/gratification to later, when you can do so without risking poverty 3.) You need Capital to do a successful business/investment. Save it if no bank will borrow you. 4.) Whatever/wherever you chose to put your money, dont tak too much risk when starting out, Stability is more important at that stage. 5.) Note that nothing last forever! Prepare for that day when your current "good living", money-flow will take a dip or even dry-out. it happens to everybody, at some stage in life, especially at the initial stages 6.) Save a certain percentage of your income, for investment in low risk, probably low returns ventures. 7.) Dont live an ostentatious life, once you have a little money in your account. leave the best part, for the later stage. 8.) Build a House, a commercial one first, if you can. Buy your land in a dry area, ( swamp not for poor people) 9.) Work hard and work smart, be strong, be focused, avoid all extremities in life but dont be a hermit. Avoid most vices (drugs, drink, gambling, excessive eating, womanising about, e.t.c 10.) Dont enrich, equip or add value to your wife, AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE (love her but never do anything at your own detriment/self sacrifice) 11.) Dont carry too much 'family' responsibility at the same time, it will draw you down or slow you down. largesse provided later, will still eb appreciated by the recipients but then you will not feel the impact too much 12.) DIY where you can, little savings here and there, add up to something and also prepare you mentally for the future 13.) Take care of whatever money you have, so MONEY will also take care of you! Money has a tendency to runaway from whoever does not take care of it..... just like women! 14.) Make good Judgements all the time, especially in purchases. 15.) Perform your bedroom duties properly! Women are not COMFORTABLE with men that cant fire on all Cylinders, when need be. That is rule #1. But dont kill yourself, if you are not that healthy to scatter the sheets, Work on your fitness, if you need to. 16.) Dont do anything illegal, be confident, think about what/where you want to be in ten years time, work towards it as a PRIORITY 17.) READ! READ!! READ!!!. There is wealth in knowledge hidden in written materials of any kind, knowledge is sourced from what you "ingest" (read). Everybody is a product of what is INSIDE their Head (Knowledge). Seek it at all times. 18.) Pray to what you beleive-in. Have a PERSONAL relationship with God, do good to others so that your prayers will not be hindered, train your kids properly and let them have respect and a sense of value for all things, especially living things (buy them a Dog to rear!), respect and love your wife to as much as she does not become a burden to your progress (banish 'buy-buy spirit' from her ). Try your best and leave the rest to your destiny.19.) Take time out to exercise regularly, your health is the most important asset you have, dont sacrifice it for anything, not even more money. Walk instead of driving, jog, swim, play Sunday football with other pot-bellied 'Ronaldo' like us You need to prepare for old age and its baggages, right from now. The older you get, the more difficult it gets.20.) Finally, Dont follow my advice, l was probably too drunk when writing all these. But be assured that as long as your wife feels comfortable being with you, she wont leave you. And if she does, you just smile and marry an even younger, more beautiful woman to replace her. She is not encouraging it but she is WARNING MEN to be aware of what will hapen. Just look around you and see how marriages are crashing like cards. Like l said in one of my post, What all WOMEN cant do without is COMFORT and it is MONEY that provides that COMFORT. Let em explain to oyu again and again: That first, very short and snappy post wherein l said your fellow contractor @tevanso does not need @tracypacy's Survey Plan (which contains a lot of personal details of the Client and should only be given out when absolutely necessary) was written on my way out. it is just 5.5 lines of post. You can go back and count it yourself. I did nto have the time to do the computation of the estimate at that time. The next post l did a few hours ago, was done when l had more time and that was the ESTIMATION itself. You can see that it was quite much more detailed and therefore longer. The third post you are referring to was a response to your second defense of the possibly-fraudulent idea of not being able to do the Estimate without the Survey plan of the person who needed assistance. It was done just a few hours after the lenghty estimate, when l was still available as you can see. I am sure it should be clear to you now. I am sure everyone knows the idea behind requesting for such document from someone who needs just a little assistance that can be rendered without it, is to 'tie the customer down', get the document in one's possession for many other reasons, e.t.c I know some here who have this kind of habit and they use the Architectural drawings of such people, to do a job for others, for a fee. Thank you and please dont support what you know is wrong. A good name is better than illicit riches. Spyder, Aventures, Abdulwastcx and many others here, are good examples. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I just did the ESTIMATION now, now, but l was on my way out when l made the earlier post, just to tell him he does not need someone Survey Plan, to answer a request for something as simple as what was asked. Calculations l am giving out to someone will not done when l am in a hurry, to avoid mistakes. That was why l could not do the estimation immediately. At least l have done it while You and your friend are still expecting the person's survey plan. Or maybe you want to condemn the calculation, since l am not a Contractor? Again, you are pushing your luck too far! It is NOT a Quote, because unlike you and the desperate contractor you are defending, l am not a Contractor. (Just an ordinary floor member here, who have gained from the FREE contributions of others and will always encourage and provide my own little FREE contribution, whenever l can). No one can say l have ever prospect for any job, anywhere. I have been a Client at various times From your own statements, you obviously also agree that it is FRAUDULENT, to be asking for somebody's survey plan, just to give them a rough estimation of something as basic as erecting two coaches of perimeter fencing of two plots of land when it can be done without such Survey Plan being handed over. BTW: You still have not told us (as you claimed), how it is impossible to do that Calculation without laying your hands on the Survey plan of that Nairalander? 7 Likes |

Did l need a Survey plan to calculate that? Now, each Block (say the Client wants to use 6" Blocks) is 18" in length (or 1.5ft). Thus, if you divide 400 ft by 1.5ft, you get 266.7 or 267 Blocks approximately. We need to factor-in breakages (minus) and Mortar-fillings between the Blocks (additive), eventually, these two will cancel each other, approximately. We also know that a Big 15ft Gate will remove 10 Blocks from the line it is placed. So, if he is installing a Gate, he will use approximately 257 Units of 6" Blocks (otherwise, he will use 267 Blocks approx) If he decides to use Blocks as Pillars (by doubling them, he will place pillars at every 6 blocks interval). That mean he would have about 267 divided by 6 = 45 Pillars ( 43 Block Pillars, with Gate inclusive) Therefore, an extra block for each Pillar = 45 or 43 Blocks extra, depending. In all 257 + 44 (average) = 301 Blocks required for first, ground coach. Two Coaches is 301 x 2 = 602. Let us round it up to 650 Blocks, maximum. If he is using concrete Pillars of 9" thickness with a Gate inlcusive, he will still use 43 Concrete Pillars and (257 - 22 ) = 237 Blocks. Again, let us round it up to 250 Blocks per coach. Thus total number of Blocks required, for the Two Plots Perimeter fencing (side-by-side), with 10ft Gate installed, 9" Concrete Pillars at every six blocks interval AND for TWO Coaches Perimeter = 500 Blocks MAXIMUM Cost in Naira, will now depend on how much A Tipper of Sand and a Bag of Cement are sold @Tracypacy's own Area. Did l collect his survey plan to answer his question? No. So, l am right to say he does not need a survey plan to answer simple question like was asked. It is simple: - Get a GOOD Education and come out with a good grade - Train and Develop yurself with SKILLS that are in Demand, marketable Skills - Dont be lazy, dont do drugs, dont indulge in things that would reduce your worth and market value and dont do anything ILLEGAL or UNLAWFUL - Leave time in you rlife to communicate with God or whatever you belive in. -Develop Standard morals and values about life I swear, if you do these five simple things during your Youthful years are you are not comfortable by 30yrs, confront me and l would set you up in business, with enough capital that would make you rich enough to throw back my Capital in my face, in less than seven years from the day l gave it to you. Comfortable Life is not Magic, it is a painstaking process of step-by-step, coupled with dilligence, which most young people dont have. Most people here are making one mistake, thus mis-interpreting what the Mummy G.O has said. When she says "MONEY", she is not just referring to CASH. MONEY in the context of her statement, stands for EVERYTHING OF COMFORT. Remove COMFORT from ANY Marriage and see if that Marriage will not collapse very qucikly. The MAJOR problem are those who: 1.) Always act against the interest of Yorubas, when it makes sense or not, whether it is even at their own disadvantage. Example: Any YORUBA CRIMINAL, is automatically a BESOTTED FRIEND OF IGBOS! Is it that Igbos love criminals or they are just practicing the algebraic theory of "Enemy of my ENemy, is my Friend". West to make a mistake, politically or structurally, while baying for revenge. Example: Igbos always support any party that is opposed to Yorubas or Yoruba interest, in all past elections. e.g, Voted against UPN because it was lead by a South Westerner and side with the same Hausa/Fulani that is showing them Pepper now, in the Second Republic of NPN Vs. UPN. (They connived with the Fulanis of NPN, to elect Shagari and got a V.P position as a result). 3.)
