Based on the above, you should be able to give him, at least, an estimate of what the cost will look like, plus or minus 10%. Let me reflect: Ishyaku Daura, the chief herdsman for the President, alights at the Muritala mohammed International Airport from a Nigeria Air Boeing 777 Jet along with his 5,000 COWS. There was an initial delay as some of the Cows were complaining of not being served any refeshment on the long route flight from Kano, via Sokoto, to lagos. Once all the Cows cleared immigration, an Uber Trailer that was to convey Daura and his cows from the Airport to Federal Secretariat developed fault just some minutes into the journey. I was reliably informed that Daura had poured some Cow-piss into the vehicle's Fuel tank, saying Fulani herdsmen usually could get more mileage from such fuel and he swore by the NNPC Chief (Baru), that such mixture will soon overtake crude oil export on the international market. Daura eventually decided that it was better to just herd his cattle through Ikeja, the Ikorodu Road axis and link the 3rd mainland bridge midway and straight to the Secretariat. This did not go down well with Lagosians and LASTMA official who are already having a hectic time with the Lagos traffic. They insisted these were Federal Cows, destined for Federal Lands and as such they are better-off maintianing their lanes on Federal Routes, going by the Colonial, Grazing Routes Map drawn by Lord Lugard which Buhari has just gazzetted into the new National Planning laws . Reasoning eventually prevailed and the federal Cows were consigned to the 3rd mainland bridge via Oshodi Epress road. Ten minutes into the journey, one of Daura's Cow broke down as it was having two babies (Twins) right there before the Oshodi end of the Express. LASEMA responded swiftly and LASAMBUS evacuated the Cow and her new babies to the nearest Federal Medical Centre (FMC) since they were "federal Cows" born on Federal Roads. Daura has ealier threatened to burn down the Lagos State teching Hospital if hsi Cows were taken to that Hospital, though it was closer to where the accident happened. There was a Trailer accident 2km into the journey as some of Daura's Cow attacked a Trailer coming from ikorodu and conveying fodder to Obasanjo farms, thinking the fodders were meant for them! The Trailer was completely devoured within 10minutes and the journey continued thereafter. President Buhari is yet to comment on how he will compensate the farmer-owner of the consignment saying that it was a private business and the Farmer should have taken private insurance to mitigate against any possible loss. Asked if the Cows were also insured, Buhari assured that as Federal Cows, they are covered by the Airforce and Army! After a long and tortous journey on the 3rd Mainland, Daura's Cow eventually navigated their way to the Osbourne road where one of them knocked down a Honda SUV, after the Cow failed to observe a Red light,.... with the Herdsman saying the Green light meant for the SUV looked like a green bunch of grass and that was why the Cow rushed at it. The HErdsman said not much damage was recorded though the driver of the SUV died almost instantly. At the Federal Secretariat itself, Male Cows were allocated to Block A, younger Calfs to Block B while the female Cows were consigned to the last Block C, to assure of their 'sapety'. Reports reaching us says that the adjoining Federal Immigration Service and Passport Office will have to be scrapped to make more room for the Federal Cows, being Federal Parastatals themselves. Dodan barracks and the former State House are also pencilled down for conversion into Grazing Ranches to serve Cows owned by the current Minister of Interior, current IGP, current Army Chief and the recently sacked Director od DSS, Mr. Daura though space is still being sort for the Cows of the Chief of Air Staff. President Buhari is expected to pay a State visit to the federal Secretariat as part of the Independence day activities. Asked to comment on the influx of Federal Cows into the Centre of Lagos, Asiwaju Tinubu said it is a welcome development as it shows that Lagos and Aso Rock are on the same page and speak the same 'cow' language. To even say the federal govt build 'shops' shows the typical, redundant Fulani mentality of "bring the Federal Allocation and share it" otherwise, youwill know that under under separation of powers, reponsibilities and roles are assigned to different tiers of Govt and building of Shops/Markets is basically a Local govt function but because of 'Corruption of the constitution' and unbriddled illiteracy like yours, States Govt "at times" venture into such activities. If you have done something IN A PARTICULAR WAY for twenty years and it has failed you, common sense determines that you try other methods. Buhari's agenda for most Nigerians, IS NOT GOOD. Its kind of funny when l hear such statements because l am aware that even for people who had lived abroad and become " foreign citizens", they still dont think thatall their problems are now solved, talk less of those who just got visiting Visas! When you get the Visa to runaway from Nigeria, you will be confronted with a new set of challenges at your host country and for some people in that category, some of them in retrospect, think they would have fared better, had they not left nigeria and quite a few, relocate back to Nigeria after a few year sojourn. Just make the best oif whatever situation you find yourself or is it not this same Nigerian that people are starting out from Grass, to Grace? Having nothing and eventually, with time, becoming Millionaires with a thriving Business. |

On so many Social media, l have encountered all these Ambode's supporters Vs. Tinubus's supporters. While that is normal, what is still baffling is that l could identify a clear difference between those attacking Tinubu and those abusing Ambode like this: Those abusing Ambode: Mostly Yorubas that support Tinubu. Those attacking Tinubu: Mostly IPOBs that are 'now' supporting Ambode (They did not vote for him is 2015, they all voted for Jimi Agbaje and he lost). The curious thing is that Why are the IPOBS so concerned about who Governs Lagos, between Ambode and Sanwo-Olu?Is it their usual hatred reserved for Yorubas and a Yoruba leader like Tinubu or are they just hateful spoilers that are always spoiling for the downfall of the Yoruba nation?
