nelson7777:Mr. Man, that is not a shoe! It is called a Canvass! I know because we wear them as young kids. And when you use a plural word (shoes), dont use a singular word (it) to represent them (use 'they'). As for Dino Melaye, between being a Bouncer and the THUG that he is, there is not much difference. ![]() Imagine the types of scallywags that we call Senators/law-makers .....in Nigeria |
efighter:Just one of the many Nigerian "Professional" Treasury looters. |
oscarnoble:Only in the South West States, Abuja and PH for now...........IPOB should go and source for thier own in Biafra ![]() ***Just kidding*** |
whalleh:My Pleasure Sir. |
In other 'News' l remembered we discussed this issue of having your own guns to protect yourself as it happens in America. Some like me, felt that allowing everyone to own guns will not help in the long run. I felt what we need to do is strengthen our Security Forces to be able to cope with any 'emergency'. This brings me to the event that happened Yesterday in Mandalay bay, in Las Vegas. The summary of it was that a man checked into a Hotel with as much as TEN high Calibre, Rapid Fire Rifles. He shot and killed at least 50 people, with over 400 others with gunshot wounds (some in critical condition)! This raises the question again: Is easy access to guns and proliferation of guns a positive thing, in the "wider picture" of things? If Gun was readily and easily accessible in Nigeria, will it do more harm (like this event), than good, moreso in the areas of Home Owners protecting themselves. Or is there a middle ground |
Commonsense101:I get your drift but unfortunately, ..... it gets even more childish ![]() Truly, there is a wide difference between 'Aging gracefully' and 'growing Old'. ![]() |
joshuaarmani2:Relax dude, dont always take every criticism in bad faith. We cant all sleep, facing the same direction - It is called herd mentality! Some will (and should) be 'excitedly' optimistic, while some others will (and should be) unreservedly pessimistic. It is the combination of the 'values' in both position that yields efficiency and best-way forward. |
RELEASEUS:But that was a Quote made famous by your Biafrat Nnamdi Kanu now? How come you did not show any consternation back then when he was calling other fellow humans such derogatory names? Hmmm....... |

Oluwaseyi00:Hmmm.... dont be more Bible than the Bible itself. Just ask yourself: How come all those Men that God personally chose as his best friends, the "Apple of his Eyes" (I hope yu reflect on that phrase), e.t.c ALL had more than one wife, yet that did not stop God from fellowshipping and loving them? From Abraham to David, to Noah, to Samson, to Jacob, e.t.c Is it that God was not aware or we are just trying to be more Catholic than the Pope, for our own selfish reasons? Again, take a look at all other species of animals that are inteligent on that level and you will see that they are NOT Monogamous, the male takes on more than one Female. How is that, ..............at least the animals dont have all the politicas and qualms of religion to contend with? The same problems we have in Polygamy, also rear their ugly head in Monogamy so it is not a factor or excuse |
krendo:Those who align, based on hatred for others............ cant "get it", no matter how much you try! ![]() |
yarimo:Richard Akinjide was a"Rogue Lawyer" in those days, th sort of "Come-and-chop", money-for-Justice lawyer that brought disrepute to the bench of Lawyers. As long as you give him money, he would do ANYTHING, no matter how immoral it is. This sort of shameles sold man needs to go-away quietly and enjoy his loot. He is one of those "old men" that brought Nigeria to where it is today. he will defend those who openly loot the treasury, as long as he can get a cut out of it. he will defend those who subvert Democracy (as he did for IBB many times) as long as you give him money. Akinjide has no moral fibre or antecedent to even be anywhere near Buhari. Well, we know some people "grow old and become Senile", Akinjide falls into that category. ![]() |
Commonsense101:Like you said, we are all adults and we should be able to comport oursleves and really behave like adults. This type of rucus has happened repeatedly before between Egunmogaji and many, many other forumites, just on this particular thread. But with passage of time, l hope and was hoping we have all learned a thing or two from our "past experiences" so we grow to be more mature. discerning and humble. There is no need to be insulting and denigrating to others at any and every opportunity Nobody feeds anybody, nobody builds for another or pay another, no matter how "Big Man" you think you are. All those ego-trips are just unnecessary and infantile. Notwithstanding, l dont want this to get out of hand because it is actually NOTHING (I only made suggestions about using Inverters instead of Fuel Generators, which should not attract the kind of venom, ....it is not as if l have an outstanding beef with him?). My appeal is to you and others, to just let it pass and not be offended further. I dont want the thread to descend back to the 'They Hate me' fiesty-cuff level of the past @Adany01, @dirdaves, @flaghouse, @desiji, @oyb, e.t.c nice contributions and Happy Independence day to everyone |
TarOrfeek: You IPOBs reason like the Pigs that you are! Does it not occur to you that the Driver of the BRT could be an Igbo guy? I hope someone like Brevik will come and kill 75 people from your family home and you will buy white suit for him so you can prove to use how civilized you have become. Idiota. |
str8talk1:The same Hatred your fathers fed you with, is what you want to feed your children with, right. Please keep it up, at least we can see where it got you in the last fifty years. No wonder they are so full of hate and bitterness. No be only Genocide, na Gentricide ![]() Awon weyrey

Fineman87:``` Truly Igbos, internet is not a Yoruba tool and it is available for all, including the Biafrats who are not cerebral enough to create their forum on it. They must always piggy-back on whatever a yoruba does, since that is the only way they can survive. Shame on your projenitors, omo'ale. IPOB COWARD, tell your Mazi to come out of hiding now, so he can dance like a Pyhton. ![]() |
Flaghouse1:Absoluetly No Impact! Just ensure that your generator is of equal aor higher capacity, than the Fast Charger/Setup you are using or charging. You will notice this when you Generator starts 'screaming' above its normal self, when you connect or swith the charger on with Generator. But nothing to worry about. |
The good in all these is that those who think they would find the Book useful, are asking for a PDF copy. I bought four units of the Hard Copy and made 'gifts' three of it, to friends. @Commonsense101: I will appeal to you to not react to the snide remarks of Egunmogaji. Let it pass-by, l am sure his choice of words was not lost on anyone here but "he is who he is" and l am not taking offence. ![]() @desiji: Here, we are talking about individual and domestic consumption ONLY. Three phase that you are referring to, is for Grid-tie connections (we all know that the Grid has R,Y,B and Neutral). I dont think anyone here has even generated enough power to fully discharge hsi needs, no tot talk of having surplus to export to the National Grid. Even the way Nigeria's power grid is, you cant tie into it for now, unlike say in the U.K or U.S Automatic Current cut-off has nothing to do with ...and is not achieved by neither Three or Single phases. You are probably referring to the load balancer. and associated cut-off Diodes. Be that as it may, it is not an issue for arguement, we are all here to learn, right? ![]() |
desiji:Which one be 3-phase for home use Inverter? Why would you want to go that route? Which three lines are you hopping from or to, in a Solar setup that just converts D.C current from Inverter to A.C current for household use? |
Olumide4christ: How much would such a system cost?? EgunMogaji:There is a 'possible' misconception here, l think. A million niara is about $2,700. A Solar Inverter of such range- amount from Sunny Boy is about 9KW (9,000 Watts) and it is a GRID-TIE inverter. You wont need that in your house if all you need just enough equipment to generte Power for your household usage. 'Grid-Tie' is when you generate enough energy with so much excess that you want toi "sell" the excess to the Utility company, by tieing your own excess generation, to the Public Utility company such that they pay you money for it in return (You are like PHCN, selling Power to the Public). That Inverter is a special one and different from what the slef-service user need. Most households dont use more than a 4-5KW Inverters and they are ordinary Inverters as opposed to Grid-Tie ones. Let me also mention here that we can take advantage of other alternatives aside using Solar Panels. For example, you can tie your inverter to PHCN if your area gets around 4hrs of elelctricity in 24-36hrs. All you need is a Digital Fast Charger and you are good to go. Batteries are actually the most important part of such alternative energy solutions but there are batteries that you can buy in Nigeria that are as good as those you buy in Europe or US (My Batteries are made in Germany but l bought them in Nigeria. Served me for over 4yrs now and l am sure l will draw at least another 4yrs from them...the Guarrantee was for 10yrs) The problem most people have with batteries (when they say it does not serve them long enough), is over-drawing the batteries. You need to ensure that your setup has an inbuilt "warning system" that alerts you once you draw your battery to critical level and at that point, you must either recharge it or shutdown. How long it lasts (duration of operation) depends on what you load (instant Consumption) on it and the combined size/capacity of the batteries you coupled together. There is a very good book which anyone can buy, read and become a 'champion' on Solar energy and installations. It is so simple that you will wonder why you have not read it before: Solar Elelctricity Handbook by Micheal Boxwell (cant remember how much l bught it on Amazon, back then). Buy it, read it and come back here to give testimony Cost will depend on a few factors like: What is the Capacity of say, each A.C you want to use and how many will be on, simultaneously What other equipments will be 'on' concurrently with those A.C? Basically, you need to do an "intant energy consumption' calculation that would tell you the maximum power you can draw from the setup at any time. This is what is now used to determine the capacity of the Inverter, the Capacity/number of Baterries required, Number/Capacity of Panels (if Solar), capacity of Charge Controller, e.t.c. Finally, how long you want it to operate for, at any time, is determined by the installed battery (storage) capacity. But not to worry, you can start "small", and increase the capacity in small bits, as the Lord provides. Start with a PHCN-charging Inverter type. If you outlay Batteries at say 600K, other materials at 400K, you can get a system that will carry all your household equipments, (AC for just a few hours, if you want it to last long) for about 2days non-stop, no-charging. Add Solar Panels afterwards, when your pocket gets bigger. (Some people l know cant use Solar because they dont have their own building so for such people, the PHCN-Charging option is their only solution and they make it work well for them!) If anyone is serious about their intention, l recommend they get the book and do a little research. Everything in that book is for beginners like me and you, in simplified English with very easy diagrams and calculation. NB: An inverter is just an equipment that converts D.C current, to A.C current (or vice versa) and it doesnot have to be an expensive Sunny Boy. There are cheaper but less aesthetic alternatives ![]() |
Yyeske:These Galla Selelrs don thave TV, how do you want them to see it on CNN? ![]() They only listen to "Late News" that Nnamdi Kanu feeds them. ![]() |
Iamzik:Its like you did not do Geography in school, tha is if you attended school at all. You keep saying "SOUTH"! Is there a tribe called "South" in Nigeria? or are you lumping the N.Delta with Yorubas+Benins with your foolish, terrorist IPOB agitations? Why are you afraid to be specific in this your breakaway fantasy? Yourbas are not interested in any breakaway, that l can tell you. Even Awolowo back then told Ojukwu so, in plain English but Ojukwu told him in Yoruba language "Egbon, awa'tilo niyen" (Bros, we are gone o). He regretetd it afterwards and came back to beg "Nigeria", was forgiven by Nigeria and he contested elelctions under the Nigerian Flag. WakeUp, Terrorists! Phyton will dance with you if you dont. ![]() |
drefe2real:You think these IPOB miscreants read their history at all or how do you expect him to know? ![]() IGNORANCE and DELUSION is their greatest undoing. ![]() |
OritaIbadan: If you are Yoruba, you happen to be one of the misguided ones or you are probably "speaking honestly" out of ignoramic bliss. ![]() But l doubt you are Yoruba because Yourbas are generally very intelligent and dont just speak from both sides of the mouth, as you are doing. - Kanu was inciting ignorant Youths - Kanu was recruiting and arming hi sown Militia (BSs, e.t.c) - Kanu was airing hate speeches - Kanu was chaleneging the authority of a Sovereign Govt - Kanu was preventing the military from moving about their legal duties of security to and in any part of the Nation - Knau has threatened to kill the President of Nigeria and a former President (OBJ) - Kanu has threatened to burn down the country - Kanu became a security thrrat to the peace of the nation as his converts have started snatching weapons from military officers - Kanu's follower's have started Mass Murder of non-indigenes (Abia, Rivers, Benue,, e.t.c) - Kanu has solicited and got money to buy weapons, to use in waging war against the Govt of Nigeria. All these put together, makes Nnamdi Kanu a Terorist, so defined and so proscribed and Gazzetted. Kanu knows that the rank and file of the Police are made of local policemen, most of whom may be sympathetic to his IPOB cause and he knows that the Police are limited in ability and capacity. The Fed Govt sent inthe Army, to aid the Police in ensuring that security is maintained. This happens all over the world, even in the U.S, when the Army asists other Security Agencies to achieve law and order. Army operation in Abia is standard procedure and normal. Anyone who is not a terrorist, has nothing to worry about. There are military operations in the South West (Ikorodu. Arepo, e.t.c) and in the South South (Crocodile Smile) as l speak so thus, having one in the East is no big deal. The Cowards of IPOB who taunt the military are the ones that need to cuation themselves. |
whalleh:There are "specialist" Contractors who do Concrete Decking/German floor only. All you do is provide all the materials for them. (Cement, Granite, Stone dust/Sand, Water). They will bring their Machine and all Labourers required. Saves you a lot of headache and from my experience, they are cost effective. I luckily got his number from one of my old phones. I used the man a few years back, in Lagos, very efficient (not sure if he travels outside lagos) - Kehinde 08103136914. They are based in Mushin area of Lagos. You can have a chat with him and see if he fits your needs.

Flaghouse1:This amount will build an Inverter System, with Solar Panels with enough capacity to power a Duplex with at least three AC's running continously, with other household appliances. Why spend such money on a dangerous, noisy and unreliable alternative like Generator?, |
EgunMogaji: FastShipping:The day you do an Inverter System and probably spice it up with Solar Panels, you will come to hate anything called Generator, quiet or not. And the price difference is not really much (I did not realise too, until l actually ventured into it). If noise is what really bothers you, then you should be aiming for an Inverter System based on Elelctricity or Solar charging. You can start with a small capacity but ensure it is expandable such that you increase its capacity bit by bit. It is easier than we think. ***Sorry if it seems l am putting my mouth into what does not concern me, l cant just hold it back, having seen and enjoyed the benefits, l need to holla to others**** |
