Always advisable to carry your passport, more so when in Eastern Europe. Their ways in that part of the world can sometimes be different from the more liberal west.

BusinessRe: Why Nigerians Haven’t Felt Impact Of Exit From Recession – NBS Boss by dabossman(m): 8:39am On Sep 07, 2017
MaziOmenuko:
When NBS declared that we have entered recession with facts to back it up, everyone accepted that fact, even the government in power accepted that fact. The government didn't call it a campaign of calumny nor evil agenda of political detractors. It accepted that fact, accepted responsibility and promised to improve the economy.

Now, the same NBS that declared recession has said we are out of it with data to backup their facts but some people have decided to play politics with it (including Atiku) and are now saying it is a lieand that it was politically motivated, bla bla bla. Everyone is now talking as if mannar and qual were falling down from heaven for us prior to the recession saga. Atiku is saying food must be on the table of everyone for us to know we are out of recession as if during the non-recession era, everyone had it soo good; we are now acting as if everything was okk before the recession, like we had constant electricity, good roads, portable water, good and consistent healthcare, quality and consistent education, until recession came and scattered everything.

Funny enough, nobody demanded for all these explanations when he declared we were in recession. We accepted that fact, now he has to explain and explain and explain...kai!
We Nigerians like bad news. It gives us a good reason to complain and of course, someone to blame.

Just thinking.....

Assuming our first goal against Cameroon, yesterday, was rightly disallowed because Ighalo was offside, and Cameroon hung on to a 1-0 win; we would really be sweating profusely. Now that offside goal is looking more precious by the minute.
Where do you guys keep getting this misinformation that Ighalo was offside. There were two Cameroonian defenders on the goal line when Moses cross came in his direction. Offside how?

Algeria just fall our hand. The game against Zambia in Uyo is a must win now. Very little margin for errors. angry

BusinessRe: BREAKING: Nigeria Officially Exits Recession, GDP Grew 0.55 In Q2 by dabossman(m): 5:45pm On Sep 05, 2017
Nigerians are very funny. We obviously celebrate bad news and reject good news. The same bodies that told us we have entered a recession using the same indices and we all believed, have now returned to finally tell us we are out and we say it is a lie. Do we even understand what recession is?

Personally, I'm glad that agriculture and manufacturing are showing quarter on quarter growth. Hopefully, the trend will continue.

Foolish woman.

You know you are AS,you will still go and marry AS

I pity the poor boy you brought to suffer as a result of your stupidity and selfishness called love.

I can imagine his pains before he died.

Your so called husband who claimed to love you divorced you ,leaving you with a sickler.

Finally,you are the loser..
Seriously?

Nigeria's goal was a controversial one also. a player was off side. The Cameroonian penalty was also a manufactured one. two controversial goals
Which player was offside sir. Ighalo? There were actually two Cameroonian defender on the goal line. Go and see the highlights again.

CAF also are not using head to head rule again for world Cup qualifications. They use goal difference now.
Okay, I hope so. Still puts us in good stead. Let's see how Zambia fares tomorrow.

FIFA no longer uses head to head rule, goal difference is what is used now.
This isn't about FIFA but CAF. It depends on what CAF has agreed to use as a tie decider.

Abeg shift, Ezenwa's inexperience came to the fore.
Yes, a bit of inexperience, but it was still a dodgy call. If that was a defender against the Cameroonian forward, the referee would most like not blow. Ezenwa didn't fly in, didn't go down. The Cameroonian just showed his experience by practically jumping into the goalie. Ezenwa shouldn't have come all out. Just far enough to throw the opponent off.

Good game from the Eagles. I expected us to get at least 4 points from this double header, so not disappointed. A home win against Zambia should seal things up. And if Zambia lose tomorrow, one more point will do.

The Cameroonian coach got his tactics right though. Brought in Bassagog when our boys were beginning to tire out. He's a very skillful player.
