Especially for the field of ICT, a university degree may not help your skills. I am an electrical engineer and I delved into IT. I am a web designer now with skills in JavaScript ES6. I learnt everything from YouTube videos. School has a rather rigid curriculum that doesn't change easily over time. Its hard to adapt university education to the competencies required of the real world out there. Doing courses outside school keeps you afloat with current trends. For example: the highest in-demand skills presently is in GIS and data science. But how many Nigerian schools offer courses like that.

But if the school is abroad, then fine, else... All these courses in good it schools will give you all the confidence you need in any labour market.

Well some school of thought is of the opinion that you shouldn't give ur LO anything, its just a phase

While others would suggest nospanim, infacol,grip water and soaking kolanut in water for 6 hrs then give your LO water.
For me, i bought that idea of not giving anything since it's was a phase, but i just couldn't watch her in that pain... My friend through her ped. doc suggested infacol and it gave her a relief.. the drug helps to release gas...

PS: you can't stop the pain or better still the drugs can't stop the pain, it just gives some sort of relief.

I don't know if this the right example in this case but here it goes....is just like someone taking drugs for mensural pain..the relief that drugs gives.

We always visit the hospital for that, and the delivery was normal.

Okay! It was N70k they demanded at the centre, and one-off. But it's late now. Was supposed to be taken 72hrs after delivery. The guy consumes up to 2 currently in a week as we expect it to rise as he gets older.

We haven't being breastfeeding our 11 weeks new born baby, cos we were advised not to since we couldn't afford hepatitis B vaccine for breastfeeding the baby.
So we ve being buying formula (lactogen1) more, and economically is telling on us. And recently my wife started mixing the formula with lite pap. But I seem not to like it.

Help advise me from profession/experience.

All the people saying pap has no nutritional value, shame on you. Pap is rich in calcium which babies need in abundance.
You can give your baby watery pap along with breast milk.
DO NOT STOP THE BREAST MILK.

Mine is two months old, and the mother can't breastfeed coz she's hepatitis B positive with little viral load. She's being mixing the formula with pap(watery/lite) in his sixth week now. But I'm not comfortable with it.

Calm down young man. If you want clarification you humbly request and not arrongantly.

For reservation of name, you pay 500 naira and bank charges which is around 170 naira. Thereafter you pay 5000 naira for business name registration including the certificate.


Again, if you are charged more than this you are being ripped off unless you give it to an agent who reserves the right to charge you for his service.


Meanwhile, I have registered many business names. It is nothing new, so desist from discrediting someone's reputation just because you are ignorant of something and need clarification.

My new born's mom was diagnosed during her pregnancy period that turned positive. And they health centre workers demanded I come and run my test to ascertain if it infected me. But lo and behold I'm negative. But haven't taken any vaccine yet, only my new son has yet at birth.

My challenge now is that, we have being on formula for the guy since his birth now. Because the health workers advised we don't breastfeed him, unless the mother is vaccinated at a whopping sum of 70k. Which we strived to afford but they became unreliable somehow.

Now how do we start breastfeeding the boy, how do we start treating it and at which hospital can anyone here recommend and how do I do my preventive vaccine?
