I could remembered, then, mtn with their free night calls, we would talk from 12am to 5:00am then, she is the daughter to the king of the town, a well known king in Lagos state, but along the line, as we progress in line, owing to my fine boy of a thing,.

You know we guys when we sense that, it seems all lady want us, due to our cute look, or academic reasons, we take the advantage to flirt, of which she so much detest a cheating guy, she caught me times without number, but still hard for both of us to let go our anyone, after my higher institution,

I relocated to Lagos to start life and keep the hustle real, but this lady was in Lagos with mom, she keep coming to my place even in Lagos, but unfortunately, we lost contact, for seven years, we couldn't reach ourselves, then i decided to relocated to another location in Lagos

But just last month, her call came, that she saw my contact on Facebook, And we try to renew the relationship, that's how we started and doing fine, she's now in her final year At Fountain University, Oshogbo,

Now the problem facing us now is, She is a Muslim, while am a Christian, her parent will never allow her to convert, while my own parent will never allow me to convert, and now we are madly in love, she try to convinced her dad, but all effort was prove abortive.

We love ourselves so much, but religion is the barrier facing us now, we are both planning to run away from the country, she promised to foot all bills for our travelling, but I told her we should try just be friend as our religion is the barrier here now.

If not for the religion issue, we plan to have our introduction this year, and get wedded next year, but religion want to truncate the whole plans,

Pls fellow nairalanders, your advice is urgently needed now, we are both confused, with no option, we can't let go of anyone, and yet we don't want our parent to turn back to us,

She keeps crying everyday, even I myself, and in the state of confused now,.

I have a female friend who got married last year October precisely.

Fast forward to March this year the Mother In Law came to stay with the couple in a bid to visit her hospital within the couple’s area for medical checkup, reason being that she stays a bit farther away in the same state.

Upon her Mother in law’s arrival, she came with my friend’s husband brother accompanied by his girlfriend who all planned staying and eventually stayed without prior notice.

My friend(the lady) is a banker and was only informed casually by her husband while she was at work on the day of their arrival. His excuse was the mother called impromptu about the visit which I don’t think is bad anyway.

These couple stay in a three bedroom apartment and only one room has bed in it. This is the room the couple sleep.

The first two days of the mother inlaw, brother and brother’s girlfriend arrival, the couple had to sleep in the living room while the mother in law and the brother in law’s girlfriend slept in the couple’s room.

As days goes by, the husband who is self employed suggested the the rest of them will handle cooking in the house due to the wife’s tight schedule as per banking job in Lagos.

Part of the consequence of their visit is that they have overthrown the kitchen and like most ladies my friend wasn’t cool with this but tried to keep her cool.

The lady(my friend) became curious and asked the husband to clarify if the mother in law and co intends to stay with them permanently. The husband subsequently flared up with the allegations that his wife doesn’t want his people around. This happened to be the third time his wife asked this question in the space of two weeks.

One thing led to the other on the third time of asking this question my friends husband beat her up and chased her out of the house while the mother stood and watched without interfering.

Efforts to reconcile has proved abortive as the husband refused to let her in again and categorically said to my friend’s dad he isn’t interested in the marriage anymore. The mother in law refused to interfere.

PS: The hubby’s mother is a separated single mother.
PS: My friend and her hubby both contributed to pay the rent
PS: The hubby’s father is not in support of all the happenings and all efforts to reach his son proved abortive since the misunderstanding. He wouldn’t answer his dad’s calls.

I created this account just to post this so that my wife, family and friends will not see it in my original account.
I am having thoughts of suicide lately, it seems more and more appealing to me the more I think of it cos I don't see how I will go on, I don't want to go on anymore. The only thing still keeping me alive now is the thought that suicide is a sin and I might end up in hell for it, if not, I would have taken the decision a long time ago.
I have a wife and 2 kids, but it seems my death will do them a big favor instead.... They will mourn for a while, and maybe just maybe, my wife will remarry and she and the kids will be better taken care of and life will be better for them cos I can't bear seeing my family hungry and not taken care of. As a man it kills me inside. My wife has been seriously sick for the past 3 days now and I can't buy paracetamol for her. She is just bearing the sickness in silence, feigning being alright in my presence so as not to make me feel bad. One has to see money for food before talking of money for medicine. I am really really fed up. The issues are just to numerous to type here.
Please I have tried every reason to hold on and I am exhausted. If anyone has any other reason to hold on or any words of encouragement that might lift me up, I will really appreciate it before the devil takes over. Thanks

There is pandemonium in Bomadi, headquarters of Bomadi council area of Delta state, as a soldier, attached to the Joint Task Force, JTF, Bomadi Division, Thursday, was shot dead by a policeman attached to SARS.

Though the soldier’s identity has not been known as at the time of filing in this report, the incident occurred in the early hours of the fateful day.

An indigene who resides close to the scene of the incident, who also pleaded anonymity, said “the incident occurred around 1 am last night (Thursday) when SARS police patrol van came in front of the residential hotel premises of JTF officers here.

“The JTF officers were on mufti busy drinking in front of their premises when the police patrol van came, asking why they were outside at such a time.

“Trouble ensued when the police officers insisted on seeing their ID cards after the military officers told them their identity, but refused to show them ID cards.

“The military officers became infuriated when the police officers insisted taking them to the station, leading to exchange of blows and a police officer shot one of the military officers and fled”.

However, there is tension in Bomadi and environs when the news of the soldier’s death filtered into town after being rushed to a hospital. His body is reported to have been deposited in a morgue in Bomadi.

Shops and business centre around the scene of the incident have been closed for fear of the unseen, with military officers on various spots of the council headquarters and environs.

Contacted, JTF Commanding Officer, Ogbarho, B. Ogidan, who visited the scene of the incident, said:

“I’m in the middle of the investigation, it is ongoing and that’s all I can tell you now”.

However, efforts to speak with the Police PRO, Onome Onowakpoyeya, were futile as his mobile number was switched off as at the time of filing in this report.

Reacting to the incident, Pere of Kerebiri-Mein Kingdom, HRM Godspower Oporomo, said “though the incident is unfortunate, the prompt reaction and intervention of the JTF Commanding Officer into the matter is highly commendable”.

According to The Nation, police in Anambra state said they have arrested a 37-year old man, Chigorom Ezeofor for allegedly killing his father in Unuchiana village, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state.
The police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the arrest in a statement on Saturday, said the suspect, said to be mentally ill, allegedly murdered the deceased with an axe.

Yesterday my wife asked me to transfer some money to someone. She said she will transfer the money to me from her account to send to the recipient which she did. She normally does this because the bank app that I use will generate a proof of successful transfer (transaction) which her phone could not do. When I asked her for the purpose of the transaction she was silent at first, then later she said it was a business transaction and will give me the details later. Fast forward to about 8:00p.m, my wife was sad and said honey let me open up to you, I have been scammed.

The scammer is: OGIES MARVIS OSAIGBOVO using the alias of Mrs Joy Binomo Invesment on Facebook and Twitter.
Their Strategy: They search for their unsuspecting victims on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram promising to triple whatever cash investment in two (2) hours. They will ask you add them up on Facebook so that you will see evidence of success and yes their page will blow your mind away with success stories. Then you may believe and get added on Whatsapp. That is where they’ll give you the account to invest.
First Red Flag: You are asked to transfer into an Access Bank account name: OGIES MARVIS OSAIGBOVO
And send a proof of payment to them on Facebook. To me I was not cautious at this point and forgot about the transaction.
Second Red Flag: They told my wife that she will be paid in next two hours which was to be by 7:00p.m. because the transaction was done around 5:00p.m.
When she opened up to me that the transaction had failed she made a post on Facebook tagging Mrs Joy Binomo Investment as a scammer and shared on her page. Would you believe it that these scammers had prepared for such alarms, they delete every negative post on their page and block the sender. They blocked my wife from their page. They did this so that unsuspecting victims may never see such posts, thereby never believe or fall for their scams.
Third Red Flag: It later becomes obvious that all the so called success stories were forged by themselves. It is after they have blocked that you will know that you have been scammed.

I have a pressing issue on ground and I need your contribution. My boyfriend has been working for about 5 years now. We've been dating for a while now and he has been so nice and caring. The best ever.

In my past experience in relationships, I have been quite generous but the guys turned out to be ingrates so I vowed never to give any boy my penny again.

Because of this lockdown, he has gone so broke and he opened up to me. The money he's asking for is like chicken change to me. But I don't want him to get used to borrowing from me and I have vowed never to give a guy my money again except if he's my husband.
