In a country of decent humans both of them would have resigned by now. Civilization is yet to catch-up with Nigerians otherwise we would have realized by now that a high position does not mean that the person is above reproach and punishment. Sadly not a good enough answer. A British adage says that the" road to hell is paved with good intentions'. For an economic Tsar like Emefiele ,having good intentions is not enough, results matter. Former British chancellor Kwartteng had good intentions as well but was jettisoned in a flash. Dollar to naira rate deteriorated when Emefiele announced the naira change. It is still about five percent worse off despite DSS raids. Nigerians accept failure for some reason.
