Where did you get that information because it is not true. The footage was never withheld. In fact after being shown the footage, Mr. Bah signed an affidavit acknowledging that it is he who appears in the footage.

Additionally, the police were never at liberty to withhold the footage because it was never their property. It originated as the property of the complex.

Because it depicts a minor, it will never be released to the public as per policy in the US.

I truly hope no one believes that Mr. Bah was tried and convicted without the unredacted footage being shown to all parties involved in the proceedings.

The prosecutor made a false claim, have you seen any footage that showed me chasing anyone?

Even a police confessed that it is totally impossible for a man pull his pant down and still be able to run in the wood.....

The lady described the assailant was wearing KHAKI SHORT.......I was wearing CAMOUFLAGE PANT and you will agree with me that there is difference between short and pant.

There were 2 footage involved in this crime..

1, The footage that showed me at the crime time wearing pant
2, The footage that showed the black male in Khaki shorts

Why is the police withholding the video that showed the man in khaki short?

All the witnesses testified the man was wear in khaki short ,including the lady at the trial.....I have the transcript of these testimonies for your review

If the police release the vedio of the man in khaki it will definitely exonerate me

This is total prosecution misconduct and violation of due process

That dude can't be sentenced in more than one life and he can't face the issues many people face outside an American prison in Nigeria



My brother was detained in Nigeria simply because someone gave him a lift


He didn't know that the person had issues with some people


These people attacked the person that gave him a lift
They were about to kill that person when
the person brought out a gun to defend himself


My dad, mum, sister and I have been sending money to him to get miserable amounts of whatever food,soap, toothpaste,etc.

As at yesterday
He said he didn't have clothes to wear
In other words
He couldn't change clothes

You can't compare Nigerian prisons especially the ones in which my brother is to those in America


I am facing something worse because my brother's case is affecting me in different ways


The person that was arrested for being in possession of a gun spent a very short time in prison compared to my brother who is still there


My brother never knew that person had a gun

But that person quickly left the prison after using money


That person basically bought his freedom

That person's car was returned back to him


Can you see the kind of system that exists in Nigeria?


My brother was arrested because that person mentioned my brother as someone he knew before


But I also know that person and that person knows me

Does it mean I have committed any crime or I am aware of any crime committed by him??

Will you arrest and detain ALL his friends from secondary school




I have been devastated by what I have seen


Some people even on Nairaland accuse others baselessly

They turn statements upside down
They divert from the message and come up with useless comparisons and condemnations


If all you can do is to make up unnecessary claims against me because I don't have money to effectively SUE you

And there is no prison in the US where you won’t find a Nigerian inmate. Hopefully your xenophobia didn’t blind your eyes to that.

YOU have a lot of nerve to disparage Black Americans especially since one of the MAIN reasons Nigerians were ever able to migrate to the US was because of BLACK AMERICANS AND THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT. And oh yeah, Nigerians do the same things that you claim Black Americans do. And so do Whites. And so do Asians.

For those of you who were not daft enough to like his comment, I want to tell you something.

See the horrible way this guy spoke about Black Americans? As soon as many Nigerian men set foot on American soil, they seek out White people so that they can say those same things about Black Americans to White people which makes White people lose even more trust in Nigerians.

OP mentioned groups not wanting to help him but it wasn’t just because of his crime. Most Black organizations are reluctant to help Nigerians who really need and deserve help because of Nigerians like the guy that I am replying to. They waste no time talking bad about Black Americans to White people but the minute White people show them that they don’t see them as special, they want to cry racism and expect help from the people they disparaged. I’m sure OP felt the same way and now look, he has received a longer sentence than ANY Black American man in the history of the US.

This is also why some Nigerian immigrants are very careful about the Nigerians that they befriend in the US.
