The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi has taken his campaign to Plateau, North Central, Nigeria.
There, the former Anambra State governor visited the Gbong Gwom of Jos Jacob Gyang Buba at his palace.
While addressing the monarch, Obi said he has advised donor agencies in his recent trips abroad to stop giving Nigeria aid.
His argument is that is capable of being a great nation with the right leadership.
The LP flagbearer was accompanied by his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed, the party’s National Chairman Julius Abure, and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babchir Lawal among others.
Mino1000: Hi everyone, so I met this beautiful babe June this year and we started dating three months later. We genuinely loved each other and we had a relationship that people envied.
We trusted each other so much that I had access to her google account and all her personal info on my laptop, while she also had mine on her phone to cut the long story short, I have a problem of always getting worried whenever she is not home and I can't reach her for example if she leaves in a bolt and the journey is 30minutes but she is not reachable one hour later I start to worry and call people I feel are at home and even the bolt rider.
On this particular day, she had a meeting with her colleagues which just came into the country, she shared her live location but it was last updated an hour ago, she was not picking her calls and it was 11:45pm mind you she was in Ikeja and lives at lekki so she was still going to Lekki that night in this dangerous December month in Lagos. I called and called but she did not pick then I got so worried and went to her google contacts to get her boss number and called him. He told her I called and that is how trouble started.
She explained that nobody has his number and she is the middle man between him and clients so his number getting into my hands without her permission means his company info is not safe. She said I have destroyed all what she labored to build over the years and blocked me everywhere (phone, whatsapp, snapchat) and left me with only instagram access. I have been begging her since last night when this happened, but she only unblocked me to tell me not to call her again and blocked me back.
I have been trying to explain to her that relationship and marriage is full of challenges so she should not let this one destroy what we had but she has been ignoring me. If I call with a different number she hangs up immediately she hears my voice.
We were already talking about marriage and in fact, I had already started making arrangements for a proposal next year.
I swear I really love this lady with everything that I have and I know for a fact that she loved me too but right now I am confused I am wondering how she was so much in love with me yesterday morning but doesn’t even want to hear my voice today. She went as far as threatening to get me arrested if I come close to her house. I am really confused and need mature advice on what to do to save this relationship because right now I can’t focus on anything. Plus I trust her so I wasn’t calling because I thought she was doing something silly.
OP, your so called babe want to blackmail, the best thing to do is to pay her back with blackmail. Tell her that you cherished the times you guy spent together, also tell her that you were acting in her best interest now being convicted for your good intentions. Tell her that if that's God's plan for you both, so be it. Then wish her well in all her future endeavors. After sending her the message, don't call her again. If possible, delete her number. If she doesn't call, just forget her.
Pls I really need help urgently. I got into an arbitrage business with a young lady who was referred to me by a friend. The business is all about buying n selling of FX. I and 7 others formed a group chat for the sole purpose of making profit together.
Firstly, everything was going smoothly and we were all making profit. My capital all together is $1,000 (#580k) at time of trading excluding others. The first week was successful but getting to the end of second week we had issue contacting her after making deposit to her. We couldn't reach her on phone calls nor on her social handles..
To cut the long story short, we took the case to EFCC but nothing has been done for months now. I'm looking forward to what to do so as to recover our funds. Her WhatsApp is still active, her line is still active, her Instagram is still active.
I don't know wether I should get a lawyer, police or go to her network provider to report the fraud. This sucks AF and all of these requires money.

Blue3k: The chief doesn't have mind control powers. His sway is just like any other. If you have evidence of other justices rule the same 50% of the time or more in majority opinions I'd like to see it. The second argument is more important but again these Justices have their minds. None of you guys bother to speak a word on the legal opinions of the other 12 justices because of the hyperfocus on the chief justice. It's obvious most of you don't know who the others are or what they believe.
Granted, the Chief Judge doesn't doesn't have mind control powers. He has the powers to constitute the panel in such a manner that only persons whose biases tilts in favour of his position. Every Judge no matter how upright has his own personal experiences, biases and idiosyncrasies. Those biases affects their judgements in one way or the other. The Chief Justice knows them all. If I may ask, why did President Buhari remove the former Chief Judge,Justice Walter Ononoghen from office?
Blue3k: The former Sharia CJN is one vote on Supreme Court. I don't know why you guys act like there isn't multiple Justices who sit on the Supreme Court. All he needs is a majority opinion in your favor.
The law is enforced differently by their own admission because Islam has a hierarchy. Look at the hisbah quotes from last year they didn't refute. The numbers are sections of the law the lawyers are citing.
I laugh at you in Swahili...whilst it is true that there are multiple judges on the panel to give their judgements and opinion on matters before them, the Chief judge has the capacity to affect the decisions in one way or the other. More importantly, who sets up the panel? It is the Chief judge.
mastermaestro: Please don't compare artisans, technicians and craftsmen to those white collar suffering-and-smiling salary earners who conceal their poverty under the cover of suit and tie.
You see the former that I mentioned, they make far more money than your typical office models.
I would have no doubt if someone makes more money than what he claims. I am just curious that how could someone who makes so much money live in a one bedroom apartment with four kids and a wife?
A month of his earning would be sufficient to rent a far better apartment.
Zee0007: In as much as I'm an ardent follower of Peter Obi from north central. I must reiterate that Obi should be ready to spend his own money too on this cause.
I want to see more of his contributions. We, the supporters will do ours.
The phrase "I no dey give shishi" should be abolished.
My one cent. Vote credibility. Vote Peter Obi.
I no dey give shi shi doesn't mean he isn't going to spend. He is definitely going to spend billions, but would spend right.

RepoMan007: He should return the knowledge acquired to balance the equation at least. If he isn't wise enough to know knowledge acquisition isn't a guaranty for employers to pick him, he is not fit to be called a graduate.
It should be a guarantee... I know a school in the UK that guarantees employment within 9 months of graduation. If a graduate is unable to secure a paying job within the period, the graduate is entitled to 50% of the tuition fee as refund.

Obinoscopy: Disclaimer: I don't support Tinubu's Presidential Bid.
I have noticed the numerous attacks on Tinubu. While some are valid, there are many that are just false and biased.
First is his health. They say his "hand dey shake" and that he pees his pants. They say he can't walk unless he is being held by the hand. But that's not true. I've seen numerous recent videos of him walking by himself and his hands were steady. Nobody, and I repeat, nobody is 100% healthy. So I think its wrong for anyone to brand him unhealthy. He appears healthy to me. Is he healthy enough to be able to juggle the stress of Nigerian presidency, I don't know (maybe he isn't) . But going by the Nigerian constitution, he's fit.
Second is his academic qualifications. I've heard him talk and he seems very academically sound. Even though his primary and secondary schooling appears to be an unsolved mystery, the fact remains that he is academically sound. Also his postgraduate degree seem to be verifiable. Attacking Tinubu's primary school is like attacking a Professor's primary school. So, let's all drop this primary school attacks. He is an almamater of a prestigious university and he is academically sound.
Which leads me to the attacks on the things he said in public. I think Tinubu is a deep thinker and speaks almost in parables/proverbs. So sometimes, it would seem what he is saying is unintelligible. But the reverse is the case. When he was talking about Corn and Agbado, he was simply referring to Agricultural Self Sustainability. When he talked about tongues from the Bible, he was referring to the Babylonian Tower where God made everyone speak in different tongues which is now responsible for human cultural/language diversity (Genesis 11:1 - 9).
So let's cut this man some slack on irrelevant things and attack him on issue based concerns. We should attack him on his policies, on his financial dealings, on his gubernatorial achievements/failures, etc
Very biased I must say. You are definitely a Tinubu supporter trying hard to create a good public image for Tinubu.
On Tinubu health, which you opined that he is healthy and his hands never shaky, I would refer you to the recent video recording of his presence at Kukah's 70th birthday celebration precisely from 1:03:00 to 1:04:04 where his hands were visibly shaking.

PassingShot: If I were a betting person, I would stake a million naira or more that Peter Obi won't win all the five SE states in 2023 presidential election.
But as I don't bet, I am ready to put down N250k with Seun, owner of this forum, to give to a set of carefully selected needy members of this forum if Obi manages to win seven states in the coming election.
The condition that comes with this is that, I want any Obi's supporter who sincerely believes his candidate will not only win seven states but also clinch the presidency to make similar pledge and be ready to drop whatever amount he/she can conveniently afford with Seun Osewa. This will prove to me that they are convinced about their candidate and that the social media noise is not just noise.
No need to curse, abuse or shout "suffer no dey taya you?". Just take up the challenge and let's wait and see.
Have you ever had a credit balance of 250k in your life?
Roving1: JUST IN: 'I Felt Mocked' - Dino Melaye Narrates Ordeal With Waiter In Hotel
Former Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has narrated how he felt mocked over a treatment melted at him at a hotel, in an undisclosed location.
ROVINGUPDATES reports that Melaye shared the incident on his Facebook page as a means of encouraging his followers never to give up amidst being mocked or humiliated.
According to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, he walked into a hotel and ordered some food but felt awkward when the waiters served a group of guys and ladies who got there later than him.
Melaye said he felt mocked and decided to leave because he could not take it anymore, especially when he still had to wait and listen to the ladies talking about how connected they were to everyone in the hotel.
He added that he confronted the waiter who clarified that his meal was being prepared by the chief chef before he calmed down and waited patiently.
He wrote: “I walked into a hotel and after going through the menu, I ordered some food. After about 20 mins a group of guys and ladies walked in & ordered theirs. To my dismay, these folks got served first. I watched as they began to eat& laugh heartily. I even overheard one of them bragging about how connected he is to everyone in the hotel and I felt mocked. I decided to leave. Unable to take it anymore, I called the waiter.
He calmly told me: “yours is a special order, being prepared by the chief chef himself. Their orders were prepared hurriedly by students on attachment because the top chefs are busy with yours Sir. That’s why they were served first. Please have some juice as you wait”. I calmed down & waited patiently.
“Shortly after, my meal was served by 6 waiters. Unknown to me, the owner of the hotel (who happened to be an old long lost friend of mine) saw me when I entered and decided to surprise me. She changed my simple meal to a five-star meal. The party at the other table was shocked. They couldn’t stop staring. Suddenly they were the ones murmuring, asking why they didn’t get that kind of service and meal.
Sometimes, you match vawulence for vawulence... Give her an ultimatum for settlement, then you tell her that if she doesn't comply, you would abandon the child for her.
Unless she capable of taking care of the child and herself, she must come for settlement.
