some believe that the Biblical line, " In the beginning God created heaven and earth. And the earth was without "form' and 'void', Gen1 vs 1-2. was a CREATION ,others believe that it was a RE-CREATION. what's your own view?

I think the text are so clear on the issue of creation. You may beleive what you like to beleive but the truth is that: God created the heaven and the earth. That is the begining of creation. The other one reported how God view what he created and narrated the improvement thereof and on and on until god rested on the 7th day.

In my strong opinion, Religion is a creation of man. Doctrine is one of the confusion brought by Religion. However, we must belong to a particular camp as the present world would dictate.

To express my opinion quickly, Religion may not survive without a doctrine associated to it. But a Christian can stand in his religion without neccessarilly giving up to doctrine.

The most important thing is a Christ Centered life.

If the drivers and conductors or owners of the business allowed them to preach in their buses,you,an ordinary passenger has no right whatsoever to object afterall you were not forced to ride the bus.
It is called freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
What they did was preach,they did not force anyone to shout Halleluia neither did they convert and baptize anyone against their will in a moving molue.

How would you feel If I told you the Muslim call for prayer was offensive to me,yet I'm obliged to endure it when I hear it blaring out towards my hotel window in Lagos.
What do you say when I tell you the ladies dressed in ojuju calabar outfits with peep holes as eyes scares me?
Do I have a right to demand they take off the mask and show me their faces ?
No, I don't.
I deal with it or run away if I choose to.
It's called tolerance and learning to be at peace with your neighbors.

How about Christian girls in nothern Nigeria that are forced in some quarters to dress like Muslims?

Why are you people perpetually offended by every tiny little thing ?

My dear since it's not illegal to preach in Nigerian buses as at now,you have some good options.

1.Climb down when a preachers comes on and board another bus.

2.Ride only buses operated by known Muslims or Sango worshippers that may not allow a Christian preach

3.Buy ear plugs and use them on the buses before they convert you

4.Charter a taxi for all your trips(,hopefully the cab driver doesn't start preaching)

5.Buy a car and be done with the preachers forever.

Maybe your next thread will be to ban billboards advertizing churches and their crusades or have people wearing crosses arrested.

I grew up in church, was in the choir, was an usher, wrote for the church magazine, participated in bible quizzes, sword drills, prayed, read the bible, and even once had the nickname pastor.
Now everything doesn't make any sense anymore. First, I'm in hiding because this would just devastate my family, and second, religion is too big in Nigeria that it's the worst crime someone can commit in this country. It seems Nigerians would relate more to a killer or scammer than an atheist. It seems like Nigerians would even prefer if their relative be gay than not believing in God.

My prayer for you is that May you not be lead into Temptation and May you be delivered from evil.

Forget Religion, Only beleive in Jesus christ as your Lord and Saviour. then Join the assembly of true believers. then your situation will change.
