It is shocking how much subsidy removal has gotten support today, while it was rejected almost completely by Nigerians when it was implemented. |
TheSuperNerd:Well, its a wish thread. My choice on Oxford and Cambridge stands notwithstanding, personal reasons. I'm greedy when it comes to knowledge. I want 'deeper' knowledge like I said earlier. Already using C, C++, Java, SQL, PHP etc. I want to know them much more better than I do. |
I know of UYC but never heard of UNYC ![]() Well, I'm not an advocate of violence unless necessary. Been in too many violent situations to know the value of peace. I support their stance. #PeacefulNigeria #UnitedNigeria |
Wrong title for the thread |
TheSuperNerd:Graduate of Business Information Technology. Would love to have deep knowledge of security systems, hacking and much more programming knowledge. |
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge and Oxford it is for me. ![]() |
Happy Birthday man. More success to you. #WhaYaSay |
Congratulations to them. May they carry out their duties diligently. F.Y.I., Kazaure is not in Katsina state. Its in Jigawa state. |
That the media havent given much attention to Akpabio's governance doesn't mean he's not doing anything worthwhile. Someone even said that instead of carrying out infrastructural developements, health, education, empowerment etc he's building white elephant projects ![]() I've visited many places in Akwa Ibom especially during my service year. He has done marvelously. People seem to forget that before Akpabio came on board, people dont even know much of Akwa Ibom, but now they do and are even comparing it to older developed states. Many also seem to forget that Obong Attah ruled this state and it wasn't comparable to the developed states in Nigeria. This should speak a lot about the Akpabio's transformation. From health centres, to tourism, to sports, to education, to citizen empowerment, to power, to training and sponsoring of Ibomites abroad, to erosion and environmental protection etc all spread around the state, so people should stop saying he only developed Uyo. Funny how people who haven't traveled seems to know everything. He has done his part. Subsequent administrations should carry on with developing Akwa Ibom. |
Well, I take certain things like this with a pinch of salt. ![]() |
Say what you want about this woman, but I pray I get a woman as supportive and hardworking like her. Even when it seems, everyone else had a different opinion about her husband, she still supported him. In the most trying times sef. I want a woman ready to stand by me even though the whole world is against me. That would make an ideal wife. Me and her against the world. ![]() |
I'm down for whatever betters the Nigerian nation. But raising expectations too much is not a good strategy. Nigerians are now more adept and the popularity of smartphones today has given Nigerians the means of criticizing public officials by accessing numerous information. |
SMH for some of these our elders and statesmen. Yet some of the popular APC governors of today were 'elected' under the PDP. Guess they were also reckless that's why the APC accepted them. If he had said some, it would have even made more sense. Common sense they say is truly.... |
Re.tards!!! ![]() |
Good thing the transition process is going smoothly, and not being dragged out. God bless the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. God bless Nigeria. |
Great insightful project. Like the Kaduna - Abuja rail ![]() Sad at the level of tribal bigotry shown here. Re.tards everywhere. Na to wish una Happy children's day because I doubt adults act like this. #PeacefulNigeria #UnitedNigeria |
I think its a balanced report. Showing both the bad sides of both the President and the President elect. Almost similar circumstances of most Nigerians not feeling sorry for GEJ leaving, same way they felt when GMB was overthrown. The timing though? Is another thing. This week was bad for the GEJ's administration. Too many organizations think they can hold Nigeria to ransom whenever they want to make demands e.g NLC, NUPENG. NMA NUT, ASUU etc and it is the average Nigerian that suffers. Well happy children's day to our fellow children on Nairaland. Dem many well well. God bless Nigeria. #PeacefulNigeria #UnitedNigeria |
I'm all for the rule of law, but the last point is laughable. Murder charges....lol If Amaechi has proof of that and kept it from the police since, then he's in complicity in a murder case. |
I think there is a tradition of VIPs visiting 10 Downing Street to take a photo at the iconic doorstep. That being said the other pictures posted by the OP didn't really co-relate with what happened with the president elect. His PR team should just take responsibility for poor planning and learn from it. #PeacefulNigeria #UnitedNigeria |
Why the anger here na? The office has been vacant since march 31 when the former holder retired. Would you people have prefered the highest judiciary office of the FCT to be vacant? ![]() He's merely nominating an acting judge to be made permanent. Re.tards everywhere ![]() |
Finally!!! We need to find a way to wrest power away from people who think they can hold the country to ransom eg NLC, NUT, ASUU, doctors, NUPENG, PENGASSAN etc who makes a large percentage of Nigerians suffer anytime they want to make demands. Sadly, I didn't support subsidy removal then. |
Well, if most reports are to go by, like people voting in Plateau by 10pm, under-aged voters, malfunctioning card readers, poor attention to scheduled time, missing results sheets, violence etc, then I really don't think he was right in his admission. |
Honestly, I'm less surprised these days when it comes to Nigerian politics |
Honestly, its a misleading topic. I still don't understand why some retards are now quick to attack GEJ here. All they asked for here was an explanation from the minister of finance. |

I know most of the APC supporters will see this as good, but in all honesty, he's still an ordinary Nigerian without the capacity to hold these meetings or be negotiating with these people. 29th is next week. When he's sworn in, then he can start carrying out his duties. For the sake of democracy and the rule of law, he should dial it down or stop outrightly. |
Bros Emma!!!! |
In Delta state, the federal presence under the Goodluck Jonathan's administration was immense. I see it almost everyday, including the ones still being worked on and yet to be commissioned. From the dredging and rehabilitation of the Warri port, to the NIMASA dockyard, a new federal university, a Maritime university, EPZ, federal roads etc. We've never had it this good from any previous administration. We probably would have had much more here if he had won his 2nd term bid. So, I personally don't see GEJ as someone who betrayed me or my people. |
Goodluck Captain Fantastic. |
Is the FG owing any state its allocation? ![]() Even if reduced, they were advised to make salaries a priority. Honestly, I don't know what to think or say about some of these governors. |
God bless the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
