Success at any cost is a bit of a stretch of my views. I think success is more important than being unique. So, in short, don't be different just for the sake of being different.

As for the discrepancies in my multiple threads, my intentions are to exposed the readers of the political/related section of this board to multiple ideas. I have yet to come up with a solid idealogy so I am testing them here.

I like certain aspects of his policy. I still think Ghana can benefit a bit more by being more western.

Damsal, Abacha is a slowpoke. His policy was completely wrong. I am nothing like Abacha. I support death penalty for corrupt public officials. I don't advocate senseless killing. Do not compare my idealogy to that of a monster like Abacha. Looking back at his regime, he had no vision for the country. No purpose. He was nothing more than a blood thirsty thief.

My views are just and honest. I support extreme punishment for corrupt public officials. I don't support killing of average civilians or someone that speaks out verbally against the State. As long as the government continues to show progress in the economy and cracking down on corrupting, you Will always have the support of the people till corruption is down to a minimum.

Please, learn a little more about west Africa. The same Ghanaians you are talking about with envy were the same Ghanaians that flooded Nigeria in the 70 and early 80s when their economy was in shambles. Rawlings took charge and began a "reign of terror" that brought fear and respect of the law back into the country. It was not Jesus that saved Ghana, it was Rawlings.

The same thing success that the Ghanians are enjoying would have happened in Nigeria if General Buhari was allowed to rule for 20. He was a no-nonsense dictator and was far from being corrupt. Its a pity that he was deposed by a man that ended up stealing 8 billion dollars and institutionalized corruption in Nigeria.

Yes, Damsal, it is cooperation we need. Hence the reason why we must create a new ethnic group. You see, naturally, countries are formed with a Majority and several Minorities. However, Nigeria is formed with all Minorities. So, in short, there is no ethnic group in Nigeria that has more than 25 percent of the nations population. Igbos, Hausas and Yorubas combined barely make it to the 60 percent mark. That is one of the reason Nigeria has so many problem.

This ethnic divide is hurting our country. Take for instance the fact that there is an oil pipeline that runs hundreds of miles from Niger-Delta all the way up to kaduna so it can be refined. Do you know why it was built? Because the Northern military men wanted to make sure the Hausas operated the refineries. If Nigeria had only one Ethnic group, the refinery would have been built no more than 10 miles from the site the oil was being extracted from. This would have saved the country 10s of millions of Nigeria. This is only one of the few cases of Ethnicity ruining the country.

Now, my solution to this country is to promote policy that would lead to the creation of a single ethnic group in 20-30 years. Is that not an honorable cause?

Either you are speaking out of emotion, or your priorities are crewed. Also, in case you didn't know, the cultural heritage of Nigerians is, and will continue to die as long as Nigeria remains one. I have lived in Nigeria for most of my life (In Lagos), and I cannot speak Yoruba. I am not the only one too. All I can do is say are simple commands and minor translations.

ajia23, clearly the ethnic heritage of Nigerians is fueling the divisions that has the country on the brink of destruction. Hence, making Nigeria into a single ethnic nation by the policies listed above is exactly the way to go if you want one Nigeria. Honestly, I understand your point. It sucks that we are killing off our history, but everything comes at a cost. For advancement to occur, we must do what is right for the country. We must work as a team. What better way to do that than creating a new ethnic group that is a forced-fusion of the current ethnic groups in the country?

As for making it easier for foreigners to open factories in Nigeria, it is only common sense. You are deluding yourself if you think the westerners would allow Africans to flood their markets with their domestic goods. Hence, having western companies produce/manufacture those goods in your country and then send it back to the west is the easier and more viable alternative. It is a win-win situation. They get higher profit margins, and you get increased economic prosperity that you can use to solidify your position and promote your next set of reforms.

Also, if you look at the end of my 2nd posting on this thread, you will see that I fully intend to commit suicide once my policies have been given 20-30 years to function. So, as you can see, justice for whatever crimes I commit for the good of the State would be carried out. I might not be the most amicable ruler, but I will make sure justice for my crimes are punished. In this case, by suicide.
