Molest other girls. |
Pray to what? And what for? |
No, I don't go to church. |
There is no definite answer. It depends on what age you feel you are mature enough to hold a steady relationship and deal with the consequences. Now, if you are not at that state by age 19, something is definitely wrong with you. ![]() |
moladun, I don't believe there is sufficient evidence to come up with a definite conclusion on whether or not God exists. And just in case you are going to use the "If something exists, someone had to have made it" argument, I will counter that with "in that case, someone had to had made that which made this world, and before that, someone had to had made the one that made the one that made this world". So, as you can see, we will basically end up going to infinity trying to find out who the original creator is. |
Hunter, it is a dictorship. I thought everyone would get that once I made the comment "purge the country of the opposition." ![]() But you are right, I should have been more clear. |
mrmayor, it seems to me that God (if such a creature exists), as defined by Christianity and Islam, is just looking for excuses to punish us. And now that you mention Adam and Eve, a religious scholar once told me that the reason why women get periods is a form of punishment for tempting Adam to eat the forbidden fruit. With that in mind, how does this explain why female dogs (and many other animals, I am sure) have periods as-well? Something is not adding up here. |
mrmayor, I understand what you mean. The policy I mentioned above really should have been the focus of the military dictatorship. Under a democratic system, it is really risky ground. However, as for the hard-core religious crowd that we have in Nigeria, once the economy starts picking up, they will die out. Remember, people only remember God when things get bad. ![]() I am happy to see that you support the ban on the traditional attire. Honestly, I have no idea what Obasonjo is thinking when he attends foreign countries dressed like a masquerade. It just makes Nigeria seem unwilling to adapt to the changing global environment. ![]() |
Do they have constant electricity in Cross-River? And if not, about how much power would you honestly say is provided in a typical 24 hour period? |
Did you use a condom when you slept with her? Also, you know that there is a less than 1 percent chance that you would get HIV from unprotected sex with an infected person in a single sexual encounter. So, it is not unusual to sleep with an HIV positive person and not get the virus. However, I don't recommend it. If you must, make sure you use a condom. Don't use two condoms because that would increase the chances of it breaking. |

I hope Donald Duke is kidding about his plan to spend 1 billion dollars annually on Nigerian Universities. That is bad policy. With the current situation on the ground, Donal Duke should focus on free/reduced cost education to SS3. If you give hand outs to Universities, the graduates would just leave to work at British and American tech firms (see: America and Britain don't produce enough science majors) like they have been doing for decades now. 1) The priority of any sensible Presidential candidate would be to ensure that there is constant electricity in the country. (If you need to triple the current amount given to PHNC, do it! Just make sure the minister of Energy is held accountable) 2) Increase availability of safe water to all communities to reduce the amount of resources that are wasted treating easily preventable water-born illness. 3) Completion of a rail road that links Lagos to the North East and another rail road that links Port Harcort and Enugu to the North West. This would form a sort of "X" across the country and would make it easier for traders to sell their wares in all parts of the country. I will also love to get a steady supply of Yogurt from Abuja without having to take a trip from Lagos to Abuja. ![]() 4) Increase funding of police in commercial centers (they seem to have the higher crime rates) to fight crime, corruption by lower level officials and keep the peace. 5) Lastly, create an independent anti-corruption agency that would chaired by respectable people from West Africa. Also a great way to promote relations with our nations and hopefully get them to agree to building a rail road that links all western African countries. That is all that is needed. As much as I like social-capitalist policy, the Nigerian institions are much too young to be able to support such a system. |
I have passed through Ibadan on several occasion. I never stopped in the city, but I saw the surrounding area. |
You should read this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Rawlings It tells you a bit about what Rawlings did for Ghana. By every account, the man is a monster, but his strict reforms and nonchalant attitude to the spilling of blood led to the economic miracle in Ghana. Remember that at the time Rawlings took power, thousands of Ghanaians were flooding into Nigeria because their economy was so bad. Now they are enjoying constant electricity and a GDP per capita that is over twice that of Nigeria's. Like they say, the road to prosperity is paved in blood. Now, if only the blood that is intended to pave that road is not wasted, all would be well. In fact, when I read about Rawlings acts that is popularly regarded as "reign of terror" my stomach was turning in disgust. However, extreme problems calls for extreme measures. ![]() |
Jakumo, I understand what you mean. It is a very heavy handed method. This is something that the military should have done in the 39 years or so that they were in power. They should have made the entire country a symbol of what it is a proper military is supposed to be. United, loyal, disciplined, and lacking of individual identity. All for one and one for all, in short. I think this is something that Buhari might have been able to have done but too bad that the retard they call IBB seized power from him. If Buhari had ruled Nigeria for 20 years or more, we would have the strongest economy on the entire continent. Similar to how Rawlins ruled Ghana and did wonders for their economy. The average Ghanaian now makes 2.5 times as the average Nigerian and their infrastructure is in a lot better shape. |
For all those interested in One Nigeria, here is a nice way to go about doing it. However, please be warned, the methods advised for this reality would be a little heavy handed. This is a 7 step solution to creation of an ethnic group which we will refer to as Nigerian. Steps are: 1) Ban teaching of all traditional languages and pre-Independence history in the nations public schools. 2) Create tremendous incentives for people to relocate to non-indigenous regions of the country and use state media to promote cross ethnic marriages. 3) Create and enforce an anti-inflammatory law that would ban all ethnic/religious speech in public. 4) Alter the events of the Nigerian civil war by replacing the Igbos with foreign fighters from Cameroun. This would also be a nice rallying point for nationalism. 5) Charge and execute those that promote religious and ethnic violence. 6) Promote a circular society that shuns religion as a means of relieving religious tensions. 7) Ban all traditional garments from government jobs. And use the State controlled media to demonize traditional Garments. People would quickly begin wearing western style outfits only. Once these steps are completed, in 30 years or less you would have a brown new ethnic group. However, you must enforce them with the full might of the nation. Any half assed attempt would only lead to more problems. Let me know that you guys think about this idea. And note, I am aware that by implementing this policy, thousands of years of culture and heritage would be loss. However, consider it a necessary evil that will end up being for the benefit of the country. |
If I were President of Nigeria, I would: 1. Purge the country of the opposition 2. Put all present and past national leaders on trial for corruption and other offenses. If found guilty, put them to death by firing squad. 3. Broad cast the executions on public television to serve as a reminder to the nation that this is a new era. 4. Purge the army of all potential coupist. 5. Ban the teaching of all traditional languages from the school system. (Have to create a new ethnic group called Nigerians. No more Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo e.t.c.) 6. Centralize government and appoint advisers that would assess the needs of each State and then have the needs carried out by close aids under close supervision. 7. Provide constant electricity and make the country tax free for foreign investors. 8 Offer government built custom factories to those who are willing to invest in the country. (they get the buildings as a gift if they open manufacturing jobs in the country). 9. Ban all public religious speech. (Take your love for God to the Church and Mosque). 10. Ban all ethnic related groups. 11. Place a nation wide ban on alcohol, prostitution and drug use. Punish said crimes with long prison sentences and or execution. 12. Take control of the media. After 20-30 years of this program, Nigeria would be a completely new country. Hold a national conference then and come up a new constition. Then hold democratic elections. After which the leader (me in this case) would have to commit suicide because the 20-30 years of terror would have created so many enemies that the instant I leave power, I am as good as dead. But it is a price worth paying. |
Odeku, thank you very much for posting this. To think that I came across this thread a few days ago and skipped it because it was too wordy. ![]() What Nigeria needs is a person like Rawlins (former Military dictator and then 2 term democratically elected ruler of Ghana). The current system in Nigeria is just too corrupt for things to actually get done. It is a pity that General Buhari was deposed by that thieve they call IBB. Had Buhari been allowed to rule for 20 years or so, Nigeria would be a completely different country. Under his regime, it was clear that the State was not going to tolerate non-sense. We need to go back to a system for a short. At the time Buhari was President, things where decent but all the people could do was complain about how he never smiled. Well, they got their smiling hero in the form IBB (he staged a coup that deposed Buhari) and then proceded to steal 8+ billion dollars. He then annulled June 12 and left a weak interim government that gave power to the murderer known as Abacha. What Nigeria really needs is a hard liner (like Buhari) that stages a coup and purges the country of all the degenerates. Once this leader takes power, IBB, Atiku, the corrupt governors and lawmakers should be tried and if found guilty (most are), they should be executed by firing squad. The time for games has come and gone. It is time to unleash a bloody purge that sends a clear message that State money is not for personally enrichment. |
Well, I am going to head out for the night. Nice chatting. Peace. ![]() |

Thats kool. Hopefully the Nigerian economy gets better. I would like to move back home in about 10 years or so. But that depends on the situation on the ground. You are half Filipino right? |
Whats the economy like in the Philippines? |
Gentleleura, sure, whatever. No more a loser than anyone else, really. |
Pain is exactly the reason why I want piercings. I am going to get my chest (not sure where) and tongue pierced some time next week. ![]() Enter the sand man is good too. However, Master of puppets is their best song. |
Do you have any piercings? Of course, I mean piercings other than your ears. ![]() |
Awesome. I like disturbed too. They are really hard core. Excellent for keeping up when tired. What do you think about Metallica? |
Wait, do you mean boy band as in RandB? Kind of like back street boys? If so, I don't listen to them. Boy bands are way too soft. ![]() |
Taking back sunday. |
Ok. I am currently studying accounting. My interest include gaming, swimming, going to parties with friends, listening to rock. |
I accept!! So, now that we are scheduled to get married, maybe we should get to know each other. ![]() |
I have to see you first. ![]() |
