Kenshin, I hope you are not expecting me to buy the lie about people being cured of HIV by God. If it is true, you should be able to recreate your claims. Anyone can make up all sorts of stories but that still does not make it true. Provide proof, and no, going to ask some lady with a questionable past how she supposedly got cured of HIV is not going to cut it. |
Mukina2, I don't remember creating anyone. |
Ladies were created? by who? |
mlks_baby, I am in Nigeria for part of the year, so my comments on the issue are valid. ![]() |
The truth hurts. |
No children and no wife. But if I had to decide on a "family" ill go with a wife and no children. |
Messiah? no, just a voice of reason. ![]() |
Retro, you are implying that they are capable of making a decision on this subject. They can't! All their life they have been made to believe things without proof. You can't somehow expect this same people who were possibly lied to their entire lives to come up with a rational conclusion toward religion without outside interference. They need help, and I created this thread to offer some assistance. |
Are there really so many Christians and Muslims because they benefit from it? Or are there many Christians and Muslims because of Crusades and Jihads? It is a waste of time because there is no clear benefit to worshipping these gods. It is also a waste of their time, but they are so disillusioned because they have been brought up to accept and not to question these Gods. |
Retro, there is actually a clear benefit to those items (phones e.t.c.). What is the clear benefit of religion? All it is unfounded claims. Hence, resources (time e.t.c.) should not be wasted on thing that show no clear benefit. |
Bola Tinubu (governor of Lagos) would do an excellent job. |
What do you mean by local reserve? Sorry, my rate of inflation was a bit off. The current rate of inflation is 18.9 percent in Nigeria now. The 25 percent inflation was in the mid 1990s. Link showing the rate of inflation at 18.9 percent. http://www.economist.com/countries/Nigeria/profile.cfm?folder=Profile-Economic%20Structure |
I want my corpse to be cremated. My family can do whatever they want with the ashes, but I refuse to have my body rot. |
I am Yoruba from Ogun. |
K2DaC, I'll be your friend. ![]() |
I have done some work with Maya. It is a very nice and easy to use. I would recommend it if you are new to 3d designing/animation. |
ramono, if the economy continues to improve at its current pace (6.9 percent growth) the feelings that Nigerians have to wards the country should improve. I just hope that growth like this is sustainable after the bust of the oil market. |
Eveseh, I won't forget I am too hot for you. Good night, precious. |
Too hot for me? Thats not nice. ![]() Doesn't matter either way. As long as you have a nice personality I will still date you even though I am too hot for you. ![]() |
Its Eveseh. There, now you know my secret. ![]() |
Am I really a fool, or you just saying that to make me feel bad? ![]() |
You are leaving me to be with Eveseh? |
I don't have one. I have a Muslim name and a Yoruba name. I use my Muslim name, but it doesn't sound muslim at all. Besides, my Yoruba name sounds like a girls name. ![]() |
Was it a dream?------- 30 seconds to mars |
Leaving me for who? ![]() |
Did he offer a plan on how he planned to deliver heaven? ![]() |
That looks really good. Hopefully, more wealthy Nigerians would take to going on vacation in Nigeria, insteaded of spending their money in London e.t.c. |
GL, I am sorry if I came across that way. My sincere intentions were to encourage Nigerians that believe in God to take another look at our traditional Gods. I find it sad that so many would turn their backs on the Gods of the Ancestors. The purpose of this thread was not to encourage spreading Agnosticism or atheism. |
Hotstepper, do you know what type of fraud they were involved in? |
I think the reason why the Nigerian public might think OBJ is doing a bad job is because of shady politicians that lie about the capabilities of the State. There are millions of Nigerians that truly believe that the state can afford to make them all rich, but is choosing not to because of corruption. Such blatant lies is continually spread by these corrupt politicians that would do and say just about anything to get into power. |
