This is terrible. All the Nigerians I know in America are very hard working. The few bad apples are really overshadowing the vast majority of Nigerians living in America that are good.

GL, Obasonja is a Christian Nigeria, and I think he is doing a pretty good job (Note:I am not a Christian). So, I think it is completely wrong to criticize all leaders because of the mis-deeds of the former Military Heads of State that wrecked the economy.

There is really nothing to be afraid of. Besides, they are a lot smaller than you (or should be) so its not like they are going to overpower you or anything.

I think the U.S. is only justified in cases where power was wrongfully taken (without popular support) or there is a genuine threat to their territorial integrity. I do not support blatant mis-use of power (Iraq for example) when all indications showed that the containment policy on Saddam was working perfectly fine.

If you are planning on dumping him (which you should) be smart about it. Violent men are not too civil when they hear no. Best of luck getting out of this terrible situation.
