Communism is so pure that nothing has ever come close to it. All the so-called communist states are actually statist-capitalist police states.

The way I see it, communism is the like the kind of relationship you have between family members. Its a lot more than personal gain. Its about combining your resources for the greater good of all.

You are right, that all past attempts at communism has end in disaster. But, the impact of a true communist state is far too positive to let a few major disasters deter us.

Besides, I am a sucker for anything that is going to ban religion.

I agree, Nigeria does not have a lot of goods to sell. If only there was a way to provide constant power and eliminate the social unrest in certain parts of the country. If those two things happen, the economy would take off. All the business men here never stop shouting about how cheap chinese labor is, I wonder what they would say about a Nigeria free from power and social issues.

Seun, courts and the police must be run without profit in mind. If you privatize them, they would just become an extension of the capitalists.

A strong Naira at this time, with rampant un-employment, is economic suicide.

I am not going to go to much into detail, but in short, the weaker your currency, the more attractive your goods look to foreigner countries. Sell more goods leads to increased employment.

Also, Cost of food increasing is good for the economy. There reason being, it would encourage more people to return back to farming instead of roaming lagos looking for quick money.

As for the rising unemployment, well thats what happens when everyone takes it upon themselves to reproduce. No babies = lower unemployment in the future.

If larger stores like Walmart open up, it would drive the smaller vendors out of business. I consider that to be a good thing. Those vendors do not pay taxes, nor do they do a good job of keeping their surroundings free from dirt.

1) Failure to split Nigeria up
