Igbos have always conducted their affairs peacefully. It's you and your folks who are in the habit of calling and praising the use of violence and extra-judicial killings as a means to quelling a genuine agitation as against opting for a simple referendum.

You don't need to resort to lies and propaganda against Igbos to display your fake love for 'One Nigeria'.
Leave Igbos alone and face the problems bedevilling your own people.
we walk through the valley of death we fear no evil against us.

Well well, see who has learnt to be civil in his speech.

First off have you guys asked yourselves why the international community is ignoring your jamboree on the streets.

Second, what concrete steps have you guys taken to achieve your goal. (Please don't come here and tell us tales of ineffective street protests)

Third, who are your leaders (and I mean credible leaders,.not the likes of Kanu or Nwazuruike who are only after their pockets), and what have those leaders done to acactualize this.

You think UN is going to listen to some misguided youths jumping up and down on the streets of Onitsha? Good luck with that then.

Just to let y'all know, if the Yorubas want to leave this country, it will be achieved within 12calendar months without a single blood spilled.

Brain is and will always be better than brawn.
many Yoruba people want to leave just they don't have the man power have you forgotten so quickly how your people was screaming let Nigeria divide when Hausa was killing them at mile 12 Or you think Niaraland talks will change anything in real life

You just woke by 12:12 am to open a Thread on Igbos? My God!!! Igbos matter must really be troubling your sleep! You are in deep mess my dear... This speaks a lot about you lot. Psychologically speaking, its obvious most Yorubas are tormented by the idea of Igbo leaving Nigeria! This thread is a pointer! Otherwise, what explains the idea of waking up suddenly in the middle of the Night and opening such thread with such topics?

The worst part is that you are even telling them reasons why their Biafra will fail! Did they bother you? Can't you see that you are the one who needs them most? Coz if not, you shouldnt be bothered if the Igbos leave or not....

Mind you before you quote me and talk thrash, I am a full blooded Igbo living in Anambra. I do my business from Onitsha and Awka. All my investments are in Igboland and my house is in Igboland too.

Abum Nwa Afor Igbo.....

Ironically, I careless about BIAFRA or even THE USELESS COUNTRY CALLED NIGERIA!

if you are nobody no one will talk about you, there is a proverb about it even when you grab none igbos and shake them stimustniuosly Igbo will be the next thing that fly out from their mouth.A great tribe like igbos will always be a yardstick among Nigeria political and cultural heritage, igbos is like a puzzle you can never understand or solved, people with less or no "poverty" in their region a lot need to be learn

Specially asaba everything about that place is so Igbo all the clubs, hotels, supermarkets filling stations are owned by igbos in asaba, people driving blasting phyno FADA FADA everywhere in asaba even10 yrs old children sings FADA FADA . grin Sometimes I myself get funny feeling because other tribes live in asaba which is capital of delta state.
The other day I drove to Zenith bank in asaba with my two best friends, one is from Anambra state the other one from Ebonyi state, bobby is from Ebonyi state but live in Asaba with his wife, three of us was in zenith bank speaking Igbo language and the Ebonyi guy speaks laud everyone in the bank felt relaxed.Igboland is only a place you speak Igbo and none igbos don't feel low or sometimes you can see fear in their eyes don't ask me why when you see none igbos ask them why.Once you travel out of Igbo territories speak Igbo and watch the way none Igbo will be looking at you like you speaking superior language.Well don't blame them Igbo language is a heavenly language.
Sing praises in Igbo God will answer your prayer immediately this is a fact.

Politics / Re: Great Igbo Achievers, Pride Of Africa by Dainfamous: 11:35am On Aug 18, 2015
Umu nne, I think that we have reached a stage where we should start calling a spade a spade, to see if we could be able to halt our decline, so that in the future, we can beat our chests with pride and say, yeah, we were able to rescue ourselves, the Igbos of 1937 and 1966...ie the Igbos that worked around then were almost completely different from the contemporary Igbos. While pure written history about their way of life, beliefs and worldviews may not be easy to find, we may learn much about them from texts like Achebe's trilogy, and from what we heard from our parents, and other elders. Yes, some had become Christians, but most had not become completely christianized. Their major essence was Igbo. Christianity had not become the center and the bulwark of Igbo life then. When I was a young man the obi Egbema in the EZEAPUTA) homestead was still an important gathering center for my kinsmen..in the years that you wrote about Christian clergy would not be the clergy that Igbo leaders would listen to. They would listen more to the Igbo clergy -the elders--in my community, seconded by the eze 'ana (priests of the Igbo). Examine the town union then...the eldest man still prayed over the oji then...now a young pup who might have soiled his hands before attending the meeting, is authorized to pray because he could speak in tongues...and the nonsense he utters is regarded as the real prayers, while the elders' is derisively referred to as 'igo oji'. Nnadi, Zik galvanized Igbos. I am sure that Zik's miracle worked cause he found people who were Igbo to galvanize. I don't think that he could succeed in galvanizing people who have become Christians, and essentially stopped being Igbos. In his time, we listened more to him. Presently, many would listen more to Adeboye, Muoka, Kumuyi, Oyedepo, Mbaka, than to him. Religion, politics, economics, etc, mention them, are all interwoven. Igbos should either be Igbo or something else. That's the nature of the Igbo man.

It is high unlikely as we see evidently many "Ashenazi jews"repeating on so many occasions about igbo jewish blood connection. We may now understand why it appears that our society of yore was saner than what obtains in many households of Faith. The problem is not the Christian Faith neither is it with the Bible; the problem is with the opinion of men taught as Scripture. And if we must listen to men, then those men whose instructions are same as what you will find in the Bible should be listened to.Swearing and profanity was unheard of. Images of Chukwu, the one supreme Being, were forbidden.Abstained from eating anything that died of itself all are part of igbo culture before Christianity arrived.
