This is the moment the suspected Yahoo boy, Adeyemi Alao, who allegedly killed his girlfriend for money ritual - broke down in court before he was remanded in prison. The suspect was arraigned before Akure Magistrates’ Court in Ondo, state capital on Monday.

Adeyemi was accused of killing Khadijat, the daughter a former deputy governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo.

Khadijat, a 400-level student of the Department of Educational Management, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, was said to be Adeyemi’s girlfriend.

Adeyemi and two other accomplices, who were said to be at large, allegedly killed Khadijat in Adeyemi’s room.

After killing the ex-deputy governor’s daughter, Adeyemi allegedly buried the corpse in a shallow grave inside his room in the Aratusin area of Akure before he was arrested seven days later.

The accused was arraigned on Monday on two counts of conspiracy and murder.

During the court proceedings, the police prosecutor, Sergeant Mary Adebayo, made an application for the remand of the accused in custody pending legal advice from the Department of Public Prosecutions.

The defence counsel, Taiwo Gbadebo, did not object to the application of the prosecutor.

The magistrate, Mrs Victoria Bob-Manuel, ordered that Adeyemi be remanded in custody pending when the legal advice would come from the DPP.

She adjourned the case till August 23, 2018.

A video footage currently trending online shows the moment a man burnt himself alive in his car after a heated quarrel. In the video, the unidentified man who appeared visibly angry and agitated can be heard shouting as he walked to his car after being offended.

On reaching his vehicle, he poured some gallons of fuel both outside and inside as he continued shouting angrily.

A woman who was filming him while displaying his anger probably thought the man would not carry out his threat even when he poured fuel on/in his car.

The man later entered his car and set himself on fire.

The person who was filming him had to stop immediately the car exploded.

The reason for the argument which prompted the man to kill himself in such a gruesome manner is yet to be determined.

A horrific accident happened earlier today which left some passengers dead, according to reports. It was gathered that a vehicle veered off the highway and plunged into Ovia River at Evbonogbon, on the Edo- Ondo Boundary, on the Lagos-Benin Expressway.

Passersby and other motorists launched a rescue mission to save the occupants after the accident..

A video footage posted online shows the shocking moment a baby was pulled out of the sunken vehicle.

The exact number of casualties are yet to be ascertained as at the time of writing this report.

Former US President Barack Obama has arrived Kenya amidst a hushed reception. Barack Obama arrived in Kenya for a quick family visit before he heads to South Africa to attend Nelson Mandela's birthday tribute. This is his first trip to the country of his father's birth since leaving office.

Obama who arrived this afternoon headed to State House Nairobi from the airport to meet with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga.

Barack Obama is in Kenya to inaugurate the Sauti Kuu Foundation’s project which comprises of a Sports Centre and, Resource and Vocational Training Centre run by his half sister Dr. Auma Obama who accompanied him.

This is the third time he is visiting his father’s ancestral home.

The former president and his sister share a father but have different mothers. Auma Obama attended his 2009 inauguration and was a big part of her brother's 2015 visit to Kenya. During that visit, his sister rode in the presidential limousine after he landed at the airport and later introduced him to a crowd of nearly 5,000 Kenyans.

Security operatives mainly military men were seen patrolling around Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti capital following the outcome of the governorship polls held across the state yesterday.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on Sunday, declared Dr Kayode Fayemi, the All Progressive Congress candidate, winner of the governorship poll.

He defeated current Deputy Governor of the state and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, and 30 others in a keenly contested election.

The APC candidate won in 12 out of the 16 local government areas in the state, polling 197,459 votes to edge out Olusola who got 178,121 votes.

The soldiers patrolled around the town to ensure that celebrations are in order and there are no attacks from aggrieved citizens.

President Muhammdu Buhari has once again showed that he's a family man after meeting with his grandchildren, a family of Musa Daura who paid him a visit today in Aso Rock..The country's number one citizen was surrounded by the little children as they posed for the camera.

Halima Buhari, the fifth daughter of Muhammadu Buhari, once said that her father is fond of his grandchildren..

While talking with the journalists ahead of the 2015 presidential election, she said: “I have a seven year old daughter and he calls her ‘laraba’ which means Wednesday in Hausa, he plays and is very fond of his grandchildren and gives them traditional funny nick names."

This is really shameful. A married man was caught while sleeping with an underage school student. In a trending video footage posted online, the girl who identified herself as Sonia and a primary five pupil said that the man has slept with her twice. The middle-aged man who claims he hails from Akwa Ibom state also confirmed that he's had sex with her as he revealed that he's a father of four children with two wives.

Both the girl and the man were made to kneel down and confess as they were being interrogated by those who caught them..

Reverend Fr. Ejike Mbaka the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, on Tuesday received a notable Award in Washington D.C. at the United States Congress.

Before the Award, Mbaka met with the Chaplain of the United States Congress Chaplain Fr. Patrick J Conroy and participated in the opening prayer at the US House of Representative with Father Conway the Chaplain of the US House of Representative who promised to visit Nigeria in the near future.

Father Mbaka also received special US Congress citation which was presented to him via Congresswoman Karen Bass who has congressional portfolio over African Affairs.

The Citation was Presented to him for outstanding humanitarian service and Awareness in Education, philanthropy, Humanitarian Services and other Initiatives that Foster Hope and Healing to Individuals Affected by Health and Poverty Disparity.

The Event was organized by Rev Dr. Agorom Dike, President, Caribbean & African Faithbased Leadership Conference.

Chief Williams Ibori, the former Unugbrogo of Oghara kingdom in Delta state is dead. The deceased who is the elder brother of a former governor of Delta state, James Ibori – reportedly passed away very early this morning (while some say he died yesterday night).

His death is coming less than four months after getting married to his younger bride traditionally in Ogharefe, Ethiope west local government area of Delta state.

The low-key wedding which was done in March 2018, was attended by family and friends.

Facebook users including Ossai Ovie Success, the media aide to Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa have taken to the social media platform to mourn the death of Chief Ibori.

One of the relatives to the deceased, Comedian Talkbig wrote; Tears in my eye's. Still can't believe my world best dad is gone forever, one man that will never stop taking care of me, my dad's elder brother my uncle for life.... Uncle you will forever remain in my heart. May your soul rest in the bossom of the lord. Love you uncle. RIP chief William's Ibori the gbrogodo of oghara kingdom.

A serious tragedy was averted after a woman crashed her car into a building filled with people yesterday in Delta state. According to reports, the female driver lost control of her car and ran into the building and destroying the wall in the process.

It was scooped that some residents and passersby who were present were lucky and narrowly escaped the accident as no on one was killed in the crash.

This is sad. A man who came back to Nigeria from Sweden after over 30 years to invest - was on Monday 02/07/2018 kidnapped at his farm located in Akasa after Ekiadolo in Edo state by armed men. According to reports, Mr Ehiwe was found dead on Saturday 07/07/2018.

National Helm gathered that the Late Mr. Kester Ehiwe and his manager popularly known as Pastor were abducted by eleven armed men in the forest of Ekasa village in Ovia northeast local government area of Edo state.

Mr Kester was to travel back to Sweden on Tuesday 3rd of July, before he was abducted on Monday 2nd of July along with his staff on his way from farm. Mr. Ehiwe was reportedly meant to pay his workers salaries and settle other things that needed to be settled before jetting out to Europe until his unfortunate abduction occurred.

According to Innocent Oshevire Okotubu, one Shehu Usman who is alleged to be the kingpin and four others have been arrested and are cooling off in police detention and have allegedly made confessional statements in connection to the abduction and killing of late Mr Kester Ehiwe and his manager.

The deceased were said to have been killed after the abductors collected an undisclosed amount of ransom from the family.

Some days ago, it was reported that a 17-year-old girl, Blessing Udoye (who will turn 18 in September) got married to an older man, Okechuckwu Tochukwu Emmanuel without the knowledge and consent of the family in Imo State. According to reports, the wedding which was planned for almost six months – was hidden from the girl’s family member because that is the principle of her church (Fishers of Men Charismatic church).

Now the church has issued a press release with video evidences to support their claim as an interview was conducted with the girl's mother, Mrs. Augustina Udoye and her relatives.

The new husband who claims he is 33-years-old in an interview said the marriage is a divine one and he married his lovely wife legally but the marriage has sparked outrage because of her small body.

Our attention as a ministry has been drawn to an allegation by one Raphael Uduoye also known as De raph man, who alleged that Fishers of Men Charismatic Church Isiokpo branch in Imo state conducted the wedding of his younger sister without the consent of the family.

It was said that Blessing Uduoye was kidnapped and hypnotized against her will.

That the wedding took place without the presence and consent of the family members
The aforementioned was alleged to be for ritual purpose to get more members between the pastor and the said husband

OUR RESPONSE

We as a ministry is known as advocates for righteousness, holiness, sincerity and love for mankind. Well, it is very unfortunate that when it has to do with the body of Christ it always generates attention and interest from the public especially the negative. In order to get the details of what transpired, the church authority sent investigators undercover to unravel the mystery behind the allegation. To this extent, the outcome of this investigative outing are as follows:

• Blessing Uduoye was there to speak with us amidst smiles and laughter; according to her, she is 18 years old and that’s the information she presented to her pastor.

• The entire family members except Raphael Uduoye who was referred to as dissident were in the traditional marriage and church wedding. Pictorial confirmation to this scenario is available below this article.

• The father was traced to his business place and he gave a full analysis of his consent to the union. Visual evidence of the conversation between the father and the investigator was captured with a phone recorded video because the correspondent had to hide their camera because of the thugs Raphael Uduoye organized against the investigators. The audio version of this engagement is also available although spoken in ibo language.

• The team of investigators also visited the family house of Blessing Uduoye, the mother was interviewed; according to her, “I have prayed for my daughter to have a blissful matrimonial experience”. To consolidate her acceptance, she further prayed for her daughter. In addition, our camera lenses captured the relics of the food and drinks that were consumed during the traditional marriage in her father’s compound. The visual evidence is also available.

• The man who married the said Blessing Uduoye was also interviewed, he confirmed that he is 33years old and presented the marriage registry certificate produced in Ika south local government council of delta state.

• One Samuel defiled the torrential rain during the interview and told us that he was the interpreter during the traditional marriage and church wedding. He however declared that the man who put forward this allegation should go and settle the difference amongst themselves in the family. Persons who witnessed the wedding including the chief of the clan also said they were part of the traditional marriage.

• That the pastor instructed Blessing Uduoye not to tell her parents as a doctrine of the church is a mis-information. We have nothing against Rapheal Uduoye and his family as we preach love and tolerance. However, we expected him to have channeled his grievance to the appropriate quarter instead of engaging in character defamation.

• The groom is a member of Immeasurable grace mission Inc, Agbor in Delta state; he is from obodo-ukwu in the same local government as the bride. The pastor of the groom wrote a letter to the pastor of Fishers of men charismatic church isiokpo, confirming that the groom is eligible to marry and he has fulfilled all the wedding requirement according to their church system. The letter written by Pastor Gideon Ijeh is attached to this article (visual).

Lastly, from our sources, some pictures were taken by the contracted photographer during the traditional marriage, especially when the father of the bride pronounced blessings on the couple, but attempts to locate the photo studio was thwarted by Ralph and his gangs. For many on social media who have reached out to us, we appreciate your love, concern and support. We have now given our own version of what really happened, take the word out and let the world know what really transpired. The church is marching on and the gates of hell shall not prevail against her.

A Nigerian man decided to the the unusual by holding his traditional wedding beyond the shores of the country. Most Nigerians hold their court or church wedding abroad and come back home to do the traditional ceremony but for Leonard Dukes, he wanted to be different and also enjoy the moment with his lady not minding the foreign location of the event which is meant to take place in his hometown in Nigeria.

Leonard, an Igbo who lives in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia - got married to his White lover recently as her family and friends graced the colourful event.

The bride who rocked Ankara along with her Asoebi (mainly Whites), danced joyfully at the glamorous event.

How Ironic! A young lady has landed in trouble after sharing a video of herself masturbating. The 23-year-old student of Uganda Christian University identified as Lillian Rukundo pleaded guilty to broadcasting pornographic material after she posted a video of herself self masturbating.

According to media reports, Lillian was remanded in prison where she will stay until Friday this week to give court a chance to watch videos before judgment.

Lillian Rukundo was on Monday arraigned in Buganda Road Court in Kampala and charged with 10 counts before being convicted on her own plea of guilty.

Prosecutions claims that Rukundo in 2017 while in her hostel in Mukono District produced a video of herself masturbating and shared it through social media for purposes of sexually arousing whoever watched it.

She has been charged with 10 counts of broadcasting pornographic material. Rukundo also pleaded guilty to publishing pictures of her naked body from the breast to the knees.

The chief magistrate, Ms Mary Babirye remanded her to Luzira Prison until July 13, 2018 when she will return to court for sentencing. Rukundo’s lack ran last month when a whistle blower tipped the Pornographic Control Committee
