This is quite scary... A video footage which is trending online reportedly shows a corpse refused to be buried as the coffin allegedly took the villagers to a house where the "person behind the death of the deceased" resides...

The footage which was posted on Facebook yesterday has garnered nearly 50,000 views with many online users left shocked over the incident...

It's a sad moment for the family and friends of Rimam Nuhu Kwabche, who was killed in a fatal car accident on his way to Taraba state where he lived before his death. The serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Gombe state -appeared to be loved by many judging from the condolence messages which have flooded his Facebook timeline by those who know him.

His last post on Facebook was; God is my Sufficiency, not the government (NYSC), and not my parents. In the land of famine, I shall be greatly satisfied, God shall exempt me from calamities, Users and wasters of destiny. I am not offended in God @ all.

May his soul rest in peace....

A 200 level student of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Adefunke Adewodun, has been declared missing by the Ekiti State Police Command. Adefunke, a student of the Department of Theatre and Media Arts, was said to have come to her hostel in Osekita a couple of weeks ago, where she picked some of her belongings and left.

According to reports, the mother of the missing girl, Mrs Rosaline Adewodun, said her daughter had called her twice from captivity, requesting that the family should pray for her safe return.

She told reporters that she saw Adefunke last on Sunday, 23 April, 2017 when she left Ondo after the first semester break, adding that efforts to trace her since then had proved fruitless.

Confirming the incident to reporters on Monday in Ado Ekiti, spokesman for the Police Command, Alberto Adeyemi, noted that efforts are ongoing to unravel the whereabouts of the missing girl.

An alarm has been raised by a well-meaning Nigerian as internet fraudsters in Lome, Togo are targeting Nigerian politicians in order to defraud unsuspecting victims. According to an online report, the 'Yahoo boys' have created Facebook accounts with the pictures of the Nigerian politicians (mostly from Imo state) under the name of HENRY JAMES as well as forged international passports and driver's license under same name to scam people.

Former Imo state governor; Ikedi Ohakim, Imo Deputy Governor; Eze Madumere, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu; Imo State Chief of Staff and others are among politicians whose profiles have been used by the fraudsters.

Congratulations are in order for Femi Kuti, son of Nigerian music legend Fela Kuti, who yesterday evening 7th May at the New Africa Shrine -broke the world record for the longest single note on a saxophone note set in 1997 by Kenny G. The world record reportedly stood at 45mins 37 secs....Femi Kuti did 46mins 38secs....

According to reports, this was witnessed by a large audience that included Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce, the deputy high commissioners of Netherlands and The United Kingdom..

The 54-year-old musician confirmed the world record via his twitter account as music lovers have joined other Nigerians in congratulating him.

Over 36 people are feared dead as two passenger buses collided and caught fire at a quarry site at Km 96, on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Saturday. An eyewitness told NAN that the two 18-seater buses had a head-on collision and the buses caught fire immediately.

“All the passengers in the two buses were burnt beyond recognition.

“Only a baby escaped death because the father of the child threw him out through the window of the bus,” the witness was quoted as saying.

Yusuf Salami, the Oyo state sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), confirmed the accident to NAN.

Salami, however, said he had yet to be briefed on the casualty figures.

He confirmed that the accident involved two 18-seater buses.

This is really funny. A young man broke down in tears while trying to take injection on his buttocks in the northern part of the country. In the viral video which is trending on Instagram, the man was held by his pals who urged him to calm down before the injection was administered to him...
