Well I don't quite agree with you,it is true that posting such stories may not really describe what the situation looks like regarding people converting from one side to the other,but then if someone really experience this and told or wrote down the story,his intention is that people would read it,now what you make of it after reading it us your business,but I don't see any thing wrong with one sharing his experiences with others,the only problem is when a lunatic forges stories to reassure himself and others that his religion is attracting massive converts

Angry people have the sense of a pinhead. No wonder he went to such a monumental national event and in front of millions of his nationals and probablt foreigners and made such a silly statement out of anger as found in the OP.

Rejection of God or a personal God surely brings out the worst in people sha.

Atheists believe that they and deists are more alike than deists are to theists likewise agnostics.

Even if he was a deist he would fit quite well into an atheists worldview because he does not believe in a Personal God aka Personal deity while atheists do not believe in any deity at all.

He once said he was raped by a roman catholic priest as a young lad and his hatred for God and religion began from there.

No wonder he does not believe in "a loving God" as he confessed.

He could be a deist but what does it matter, deists and atheists are chums.

For those who do not understand the article and what it was trying to say let me explain.

The article infers that the Philippines President is being deceptive.

One minute he mentions God and the next he challenges his existence just as he did in the OPs article. One minute he says "God told him" the very next he denies the existence of the same God.

That was why the end of the article concludes thus and I quote



He knows the religious position of the majority of Philippinos so is simply deceiving them to get what he craves for...POWER!

In his core, he is an atheist.

That is the summary of the OPs post. I am sure even the OP could not read between the lines of the article
