Mine happened in my 400l. I ate egusi soup that was prepared the previous night by a friend before going for 7am lecture the next day, I didn't know that was the beginning of the end for me.
Midway into the lecture, my tummy started rumbling, I sat with my click of friends I had to inform them my tummy was about messing with me and they all urged me to endure cause the lecturer was very strict. My tummy didn't give up, it kept tormenting me that I was forced to use my face to control my tummy and buttocks, whenever my tummy wants to release farts I'd squeeze my face so hard and tighten my anus little did I know the lecturer was taking note of my facial reaction. He walked up to my seat and asked with a loud voice " young lady, I've been noticing your facial reaction and all don't seem to be well" I told him "yes Sir, I'm having severe migraine " my friends burst into laughter. He beckoned on me to stand up and go to the pharmacy but I couldn't cause that would be the end of me(the poo would drop all over). I told him I'd be fine Sir, let me manage it.
I kept telling God that if he let's me stand up and get to the park, I don't mind defecating inside the taxi I'd glorify his name.
Just after the lecture, I held onto one of my friends like I was paralysed and she started leading me slowly out of the lecture hall unfortunately it got worst I couldn't bear it no longer, the poo was already dropping with every step I took and there was no bush or restroom close, I was forced to defecate in an open space. It wasn't long few of my course mates started passing there and was shocked to see me defecating in the open. I used leafs to clean my buttocks. I died 5 times that day.

We occasionally have need for a chef in our company, especially when the MD is around in the country. He is based in the UK, you see, and is only around about 3 to 4 times a year. During those times, the MD, who is a foodie, hosts a lot of parties and attends even more on an owambe level.

The last chef we had was fired for being a drunk, getting into a drunken fight with a fellow drunk and stabbing him on the bank when he turned to flee the brawl. Akwa Ibomites are known for their top notch culinary skills, however all the chefs we have hired from that area have an inordinate love for ogogoro. There was another who took one of the company vehicles, a 2006 Toyota Camry for a drunken jolly joy ride and crashed the vehicle somewhere around Berger. The cost of repairs was going to be deducted from his salary on a monthly basis, but the fellow unceremoniously stopped coming to work after a month. He was later spotted in traffic selling air fresheners.

All these unsavoury experiences with Akwa Ibomites made the company venture outside the shores of the country to far away Benin republic where a citizen of that country, a wiry, baby voiced and camel faced young man by the name of Blaise was hired to replace the lately sacked chef. He came highly recommended and we all had high hopes that we would no longer have embarrassing episodes caused by the regular intoxication of our Nigerian compatriots.

Blaise was put on probation, and the MD selected semo and egusi soup for his first food test.

Corps members posted to Mbano in Imo state took to Twitter to share photos of the poor state of the corper's lodge they have to live in for the next one year as they serve, IgbereTV reports.

As seen in the photos shared, the exterior of the lodge looks badly in need of renovation. The interior is just as bad and the corps members have to sleep on tattered mattresses placed on the bare floor.

Other corps members reacted by sharing photos of the terrible state of their lodge too. However, some told them they are lucky to be allocated accommodation and not every corps member is that fortunate.

There was a tank explosion at factory tank farm in Kogi state on Monday. Jackson only went up for a routine check and dipping but was caught up in the explosion. The tank was a million liter tanks having about 150,000 liters ethanol before the explosion. Causes of the explosion still remain unknown.

Good gesture but tp what end?.. what is the longevity of this?. N325m would set up a Nigerian renowned factory in that community that would employ and feed those families for life directly and indirectly.. bags of grains or maize would always finish and they would return back to square one..

The Govt should start an initiative.."One factory per village", it would be indigenous, most specifically and restricted on the major raw material/produce of that village/community for cost effectiveness.. that is the only way to get the manufacturing mantra kick started. Alongside rapid development of rural areas..
