SLAP44: Why won't the army stay calm to defuse the situation with tact instead of making provocative statement in the heat of a looming crisis?
Southern masses have been provoked for too long and any small spark can set many things ablaze. The army has never issued any guidelines in the north east upon all the casualties they keep getting, it's in the south they will be acting superman. Can you imagine the fools ? |

SLAP44: What made him not try it?
By January, there would have been a United nations supervised referendum on Nigeria to determine how many countries the people want to divide to. Bandits and boko haram are having fun in the North. The idiot went there and ran back with no result. He now has soldiers he can deploy to quell peaceful protests by oppressed and terrorized folks who only desire better living conditions! They're only powerful against defenceless citizens but get slaughtered by unlearned bandits.. That Buratai must pay sooner or later |

Simisola00: I feel they should just protest for another reasons like bad governance or something, unemployment rate, food scarcity. Last time I checked the Government of the day has tried to answer their plight. Don't think these protests are only because of ending SARS.... You can see that even after scrapping SARS, the protests are still on..... The frustrations of the masses against other things is in it too and many things are linked to it Government must be accountable to us and our rights have been trampled on for far too long... sonofElElyon: SARS is actually involved in the war against Boko Haram and I don't think they are as monstrous in the north as they are here in the south.
I think that informed their protest.
The government can retain the ones in the north for the Boko Haram fight while renaming them SWAT. I saw antiterrorism police in SW by the roadside extorting motorists. . Like wtf are they doing here? The SARS, Antiterrorism police should all be relocated ASAP to Borno and co States. But they don't want to go there. They are only good at terrorizing and extorting southern people. Even up to maiming and killing them! |
Politics › Re: Protesters In Borno Demand Reinstatement Of SARS (Pictures) by dalass(f): 8:09am On Oct 14, 2020 |
Arrewa: I repeat!
We have no problem with #EndSars protest in the south.
Let the government end Sars in the south and bring them here. I am strongly in support of end Sars in the south.
Don't expect any anti Sars protest in the north.
Any northerner that is protesting against sars here in the north need some mental check up!
We have our own problem here in the north which we are more concern about.
Many of our people don't even know what's happening in the south and many don't even care to know.
My opinion... They should end Sars only in the southern Nigeria.
We need them here in the north... Especially in Borno, Zamfara and southern kaduna.
#endsars in the south!
#BringSars to North Well, its not their fault. SARS is a selective law enforcement part of the police! In the North, they know there's no money to extort. I've never seen any video of SARS arresting any northern guy and demanding 100k! Where dey wan get that kinda money For bail? Whereas in the South, haba! Its a daily collection matter of hundreds of thousands being shared throughout the police formation... Bunch of police thieves! Quickly turned SARS to SWAT/..... JUST LIKE THAT! Please carry all the trigger happy SARS, SWAT, and Antiterrorism police to Borno quickly |

shiwex: Nigerians should go straight to the point. These protests has more to do than police brutality. It is about demanding an end to corruption, good governance, improve infrastructure, end to mismanaging public funds etc.......no light, no water, high cost of living, no good health facilities, no roads, massive looting by political elites and most importantly an efficient proactive president and not just a sign post that can't even come out and give press conferences.
NIGERIANS AWAKE Exactly. Its a protest against all societal injustices! Like Nepotism, extortion in all forms by government itself. Police brutality. Political ineptitude, insecurity etc |
Politics › Re: Gov. Abiodun Secures Release Of #EndSARS Protesters Charged For Attempted Murder by dalass(f): 12:26pm On Oct 13, 2020 |
slimfit1: Sara's are not our problem. Senators, legislatures, politician and judges are. Buhari failed to fire IG for failure the police or Sars get the blame. The police is supposed to have an internal affairs officers that travel around monitoring the conducts and activities of the police, you don't need a genius to figure that out.
The IG failed to do that and the foolish president refuses to fire the incompetent IG both are incompetent obviously. The president is our problem not the Sars, because if the president was firing IGs they would sit up. This government continue to reward failure, we have another clueless president in Buhari. You're right. Its not only the IG but the Army Chiefs etc The National Assembly has repeatedly passed votes of no confidence in the security leaders, in their ineffective fight against boko haram, in this country but Buhari sticks with them because they are all inept like him |
