Hi am in a bit of dilemma my husband and I are both civil servants am also a lawyer and our take home put together is about 260k per month. We have two kids of ages three and four we have a good opportunity to travel to Canada with a job offer but under unskilled worker.

Am thinking of a better life for my kids but a bit confused cos of d fear of d unknown. I get you bro but the US and UK can't be compared together. USA beats UK in many aspects. UK to me is like a place to spend your hard earned cash or a place for retirees after making it in the USA. UK wey they send international students back home after spending your millions and earned a degree

Their taxes is too much but I think if britain leave the european union I pray they cut their taxes

After NVC provided case number, we paid the fee and uploaded all document electronically, after case completed notification then I got interview appointment in 14days after.... Does this help?

Uscis as approve our own we are waiting for interview date please when you receive your visa please create your own thread abeg

England is very competitive when compared to USA.

Not that she relocated to England permanently and she is a US citizen citizen she gave birth to all her kid in usa she went to England for work and I think her company sponsored her she comes to the USA embassies during summer and Christmas, but England is a developed country If you want to enjoy London you must be skillful and educated

Some people do say Britain is hard for immigrant,if you investigate those people very well they are either lazy, living with someone or have no skills at all I know some people who migrated from USA to England

Okay I respect your opinion but I wouldn't start the countries I'll love to migrate to with USA. And as for the queue at their embassy, does this also applies to the USA embassies in other countries? NO. someone in this forum who lives in Japan once said he met less than 15 people at the USA embassy in Japan when he went for his interview.

I just think some Nigerians don't have awareness about some other facts, they only want to improve their standard of life and they believe that it can be achieve in the US within few months.

My uncle stay in Germany for 20 good years. He lived in East Germany for 10 years plus and spend 10 years in West Germany, Bochum to be precise. He told me there are no place in the world where you won't see racist but in terms of racism, West germany cities are better. That was what he told me last year.

So funny how people are advising you to move to Germany or Canada my dear brother if you come back to Nigeria and you apply for Germany visa or Canada visa when presenting your passport to the consular and he see d uk stamp if he ask u question about your stay and you tell the consular that you overstay your visa bro...you will be banned and don't try coming to Nigeria if you do no hope for you travelling abroad again....and again I know why the UK doesn't favour you it because you didn't school or you don't have any skill

I applied via drop box to renew my usa visa and I stated I was going for medicals. 221g letter was sent to me and I rescheduled for interview. Unfortunately a week to my interview I had pre term labour at 6 months and they could not keep the baby since he was not up to 7 months. I reschedule my interview due to health reasons after delivery.


Today I went for my interview at Abuja consular.


VO: When last did you go the usa.
me: 2013

vo: how long did you stay?
me: 2 to 3 weeks

vo: for what ?
me: Christmas holiday

vo: who do you know?
me: my brother

vo: how did he get to usa:
me: visa lottery

vo: I can see you wanted to stay for three months, why?
me: so I explained how i lost my baby at 6 months just before the interview, so i rescheduled.

vo; what does you husband do, how much does he earn?
me: I answered her.

vo: what do you do?
me: answered

vo: I can see you earn ......
me; yes i do and my salary has been upgraded this month to......


vo: will you have a baby within the next two years?
me: yes of course.

vo: will use like to give birth in the us
me: yes, if doctor gives me the go ahead to travel, due to my history.

VO: What countries have you visited
me: *Uk,France, Spain, Luxembourg, Netherlands ,Belgium, Uae, Gambia, Benin rep..etc*

vo: okay, i will be giving you this visa,please pay all your bills and do not accept any discount. get your itemized bills and all the necessary receipts.
me: yes i will

me: I asked her if i needed to inform them when next I get pregnant, she said no, but i should declare it at the point of entry, and have enough funds to cover my treatment.
