The bible you read is a TRANSLATION and that means it uses words in the destination language that are as close to the original as possible.
If such a thing does not exist then they use approximations.
There are Yoruba versions of the Bible, Igbo versions and so on . In the process of translation different things happen but the bottom line is in the Hebrew culture they dressed differently from how they dress in Siberia or Afghanistan based on weather tradition etc
What is a man's dress in one culture may look like a woman's in another.
Trousers were not part of Hebrew dress 3000 years ago

Kathryn Kulman wore trousers and was used of God mightily. There are so many others.

Who says there is nothing like trousers when the law in deuteronomy 22 v 5 was put in place. "BREECHES" were made to be worn by priests in the old testament. See attached picture for the meaning of breech.
Exodus 28:40-42

That's how Aaron children were to dress as priest, I know such style of dressing didn't just start with them, it must had been a mode of dressing amongst men before they were made priests.

* priests in those days were called out people, they stood in gap for people before the lord, they prayed to the lord for others, they atoned for the sins of other making sacrifices to the lord.
*Genuinely born again Christians are also priests called out and separated from the pollution of the world. And I'm sure they won't have any argument with wearing of trousers or something.

I think if the old testament has been our guide, I am very sure that you must have been killed by now because of things you must have done wrong.. Jesus is our perfect example that we follow.. If it's not necessary, christ wouldn't had submitted himself to be baptized by John. And Christ is greater than all these prophets together.

The scripture never recorded that. But was Jesus never baptized? Weren't the apostles commissioned? If the testimony of TB about his salvation was that of being saved from his mother's womb, then something is wrong somewhere. Who baptized him? Or he was equally baptized from his mother's womb. All testimonies we hear is giving of materials, no one came up to say he or she met Jesus, got saved under his ministry. The core mission of christ on earth was to reconcile sinners to God which he actually commissioned every born again christian to do..

If one is preaching about Forgiveness and Love.. He or she should emulate that preaching..... TB Joshua did that and that's why he has gained the love of people all over the world... You people should keep on hating the Man even till Death

No one hates TB Joshua it's just that you know little about the scripture. It's better you stay on your own lane rather than sharing in another man's sins. Irrespective of the love he gained around the world, the standard of christ can not be changed. If he was indeed a man of God, good for him, but if other wise, then all he the love he had would be totally waste.

Nobody is forcing you guys to stay or worship at deeper life church. If you are so disappointed then leave the church. I always read and don't comment on any article about TBJ, because I know little about him. public display affection does not make anyone heaven bond or christ like. All we hear is given, no one ever gave testimony of how he or she was saved through his messages. Gospel of christ is all about leading the sinners to the reconciliation with God. Given is a gift, and anyone can possess such gift. I once had an account of Joshua's life from a woman we lived in same area some years back. She said exactly what people have been saying about him as she had a first hand info as a result of looking for fruit of the womb, and this was in 90s. So, if these people are not associating with him, it should be for a reason, and your opinion about it is inconsequential.
