NapoleonHill:He's spewing gibberish actually, he should blame their elders that prefer to sell slots to outsiders and always retain sweepers and messengers positions for them... Anyone in right frame of mind not from that region won't want to build a house to live in that region, my sister had to relocate from omagwa to ibadan because of these lazy and jealous folks.. Her husband works in PH but can't stay in the house they built... All this hatred ascertion for yorubas are just lies. Hashabiah:Without Holiness, no man shall see the lord. I wonder if they read bible in prosperity preaching assemblies. If the disciples/ apostles preaching was based on prosperity their blood won't be shed . I wonder how some preachers have rest of mind after preaching such messages, for the fact that many were gruesomely killed in the days of old for gospel |
Anakazo22:Those you mentioned were not living large on tithe and offering, they all had their respective occupations, even the apostles / disciples all had theirs despite the fact that they're actively witnessing and preaching. What does he do than collecting seed, tithes and offerings? If God so really interested in prosperity over gospel of salvation, dangote, musk, Mark and the likes won't smell wealth in their lives, you don't need to be a Christian / believer to be rich. It's by doing something legal. Rain falls on the just and the unjust.. It's just waste time listening to prosperity messages at the expense of ones eternal destiny.. Winners members ain't faring better from other churches members... |
Anakazo22:Your response is the example of what the person you qoated was saying. Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, thou FOOL , shall be in danger of hell fire. I don't see him as a Pastor who's preparing for the coming of Christ, he's too conscious of mundane things.. If the head is so conscious about earthly things that will be consumed by fire, what will be the goal of the members if not prosperity consciousness. |

jaxxy:He writes books, or don't you think that would give him such huge wealth! |
just4fun:What does he do apart from what you listed there? |
daddytime:What other sources does he has other than increasing his seed sowing nest? |
Funny enough didn't know till i read about it a while ago.. |
ENGINEERG:Lies. |
Kobojunkie:Gibberish! |
komodapson:That's your problem. |
naikeboy:Sure you did not think through before posting this. How could anyone make you poor? Did he preach that they shouldn't have formal education, work or learn skills? |
drakeli:Mr. ancestor rest. Members ain't complaining, and in fact no one is forced to stay in the church, who ever isn't comfortable can leave the church.. Even we still had members riding Peugeot, Benz and some other good cars back then, and no one saw them as worldly people. And yes TV was and is still devils box, but as devil uses it as tool to destroy, we use it for evangelism to win souls to the kingdom.. If everything on screen is so good to watch, satellite TVs won't see the need to put parent control or even PG on there contents.. I don't honestly know the problem of you people with the church, if you're invited don't go, and no one will crucify you for that.. |
miraclea:this one leader, that one leader. Continue to lie just because you were and even a religious Christian... Leader my foot.. |
michoim:Sir, he can't personally afford it. In fact his children know that their father has nothing. |
oluwaseunamos33:Well, no one asked me any question when took the first jab recently. |
oluwaseunamos33:Why, please? |
CrestMan:Real believers in Christ that understand the scriptural prophecies about the end time events won't reason like this.. |
Meatball62:You have me on ur whatsapp already, will love to get the data science stuff. Will chat you up when I'm ready sir. |

Ok I heard it myself. If members and local pastor were popularly calling tv such name all over, one could maybe say it originated from the top. That’s what deeper lifers and their local assembly pastors used to call tv. Their pastors used to preach against having tv at home and called it devils box. Even pastor Kumuyi asked his church to throw away their tv. Yes that’s what they used to call it in the 80s and early 90s. Most deeper life members started throwing away their TVs. Some did sell it. Stop talking about what you don’t know. You may not be old enough to know this then. Go and ask your older church members. They will confirm my point to you. No single crusade posters used to carry pastor Kumuyi’s picture in those early days. It all just started maybe in mid 2000. The only place you could see pastor Kumuyi’s picture in the 80s or 90s were on the books he published. Not on retreat posters or crusade posters. Only Jesus picture or any other befitting graphic.
