Guys, yes i agree, I am the bad guy,

I just wanted to say that i guess am off this project mainly cause i overestimated my modeling skills. i haven't done any serious character modeling in over a year and i thought i could jump back in where i sstooped. but it's not working.
With other work schedules, i have started the model 6 times now and each time it still looks bad, either my polygon distribution is wack or the model is just not looking good.i have given up for now. i am now reediting my Organic modeling skills as a 4.If i am still wanted as a prop or landscape modeler, am game but my character modeling for now has regressed badly,
and like i said b4, i have been doing more of post-production,Motion graphics and compositing over the past one year so if me skills are still needed, so be it.
If i get the boot, it's also good, as OKX once said,discipline must b maintained

I tend to agree with @tomx, from my experience , both green and blue screens work as well . What really matters is lighting evenly;Prefarably lighting the background seperate from the subject (If u have enough lights),

I will also agree with sojioguns by saying that while one can get some relatively good results with proper lighing on DV footage, HDV footage with the same quality lighting will ALWAYS produce a much better key

i got the sketches but would really like planes for the entire character as well as the head; Am not naturally artistic and hence tend to always require blueprints when modeling

Just felt it wont be right not 2 explain why i went AWOL on the project.
Through a series of Unfortunate events i ended up not having a computer to even work with.
Anyway am back if it's still ok with the team.
Also since one of my major strengths is vfx and post, if it sis decided that i dont do any work until that stage, it's also ok.

Well since u feel so strongly about vray's feel then i'll have 2 say go 4 it, By the way it's all i can use, i can produce a decent mental ray render to save my life.

Decide if u'll rather find out how to get the programs yourself or send me a mail, (dont forget to tell me ur versions of 3d max) maybe i can get them on a cd or dvd and get them to you.

Nice spirit, am into music videos at the moment but am on a little hold, the next ones gonna be big. Am not aiming 4 the usually"overloaded-with-graphics" music video but more hollywood style effects. Good 2 know there are others on the same wave length.

Nice renders, with the way u use mental ray , i'll say u dont need vray, u seem 2 have mastered mental ray quite well.

As to getting vray for free, there are ways to download it online.
It's not exactly legal to use pirate software but it works around here. Let me know if ure still interested

pity am still in ph. would have loved 2 meet gamine and the rest of the guys but i guess that will b a little later.
