I do agree with AdamuW that while listening to music, ur leg would tend to move in rhythm wit it (also tried it)
BUT u know sometimes while animating, stuff thats not realistic strangely looks gud ,
(like how a real life explosion in a movie now looks somewhat fake till they pop in sum vfx flames etc,, it's crazy)
seems like this is one of them cases,
Loving the guy's laid-back attitude,

Ur right , one man's meat,
like dasa said , the major reason people use the 7d/5d/Rebel T21 are for the interchangeable lenses and it low-light capabilities
It's a pretty good cameras but those little extras i have gotten used to on a regular video camera , am kinda used to em,
Time will tell. but i think it's a fad which will move on in a year or so,

The Rebel T2i or as it is known in europe the 550D is an awesome DSLR camera for the price, While it has the cons of less manual controls,am sure one can work his way around it , It's now $700, HALF the price of either the 5D Mark II or the 7D,
Am not really a DSLR-for-video fan (still love my dedicated video cameras) but at this prices i might be getting one for myself soon,

@owoyemi, u can check www.kalahari.com.ng.U can pay by Interswitch and they deliver. Though the 7D costs a hefty , Havent used them but every one i know who has has had glowing reviews

Bloody waste of a year if u ask me but we gats no choice, Redundant crap,

as a practitioner myself, here are my opinions,

Adonis Productions attempted something new,For that i give them kudos, Did they succeed?
From what i've seen,i'll say NO,
A Movie Trailer is supposed to showcase the best parts of your movie, If those are indeed the best parts,then am not buying,
Also the 130 Million Naira Budget is a joke/lie, They probably did that for 2 reasons,
1) To create hype
2) To satisfy their sponsors that money given was actually spent

CGI is way too advanced for the low quality shots they produced, No-one expected avatar-like quality but poor/underdeveloped countries like Romania and Kenya are producing Internationally acceptable material but they didnt,

This creates a false impression that thats the level of Film development in the Country which is so wrong since we have since great CG work from Music Video Directors like Mex (MI's Safe and Djinee's Overkillin) and gbenga salu,
I am disappointed especially since i had such high hopes for them, Mayb next time, ,

I forgot to mention that 2f the reasons the Canon 7D is so popular,
1.It's affordable
2.It has a very Shallow Depth of Field (Great for a film-like look)

But the absence of a proper audio input (audio is best taken separately), the camera's tendency to overheat,it's 12 minute recording limit and the the absolute need for a tripod(no run and shoot for this camera) kill it for me,
I think It an excellent still camera and a very good B-cam but for professional purpose (even with the numerous rigs and attachments), it just doesn't stand up to it for me,

The Canon 7d for Video: Myth or Reality
Recently there’s been quite some hype on the video capabilities of Canon 7D DSLR camera. Everyone has talked about its ability to shoot crisp HD video. So after some research and experience, here’s my own thots…as a comparision, I will be using Panasonics immensely popular P2 HD cameras, the HVX-200 and the HPX-170
Tech aspects:
The Canon 7D shots HD video with a color resolution of 1080i (that’s 1920*1080) which is great. it records in .mov (quicktime) format using h264 compression (same as mp4 which popularly used in phones and on the internet) I have seen footage from this camera that’s breathtaking, however a further look at the tech specifications will reveal that the 7D shoots a reduced color resolution of 4:2:0 (color resolution is a ratio of the luminance to color). What this means is that while the camera picks up the full luma resolution(i.e 4); only a quarter of the color resolution is picked up.
The Panasonic HPX-200 and HPX-170 both shot at a 4:2:2 color resolution.
The Reality…
In reality, while shooting LIVE shots ,this is not really a problem since the human eye perceives more luminance info than color, so shots from this camera shot in live environments or sets still looks awesome.
However the only major weakness of this format and hence the Canon 7D becomes evident when shooting greenscreen ( or as they are popularly called here- “Chroma Video”).
From experience Keying out greenscreen footage under the same conditions results in more artifacts and rougher edges than with the P2 Camera’s . that’s where u’ll see the impotance of the “extra” color resolution
Being somewat of a traditionalist, I am also a little bit worried about the trend of using Photo cameras to shoot video, the camera after was primarily designed to shoot photos with video as a bonus,
Here’s an analogy,
While your DSTV enabled phone allows you watch video, Don’t you still prefer to sit back and watch “real” TV on your 32’ TV set at home?
( the phone is still primarily a bloody phone-made basically for phone calls)
Conclusion
While the 7D has rather nice video options and quality, if am heading out for a shoot, I’lld pick up my trusty P2 camera….

The 1st ever Odudu Port-Harcourt Music Awards held 21st November 2009,. I was there and am happy to say it was a blast.
With Andre Blaze as the Presenter, Special Apperances by Julius Agwu, Hilda Dokubo and More and performances by Skala Wee, Soty, Tha-Ibz, Lyrikal, Mkaze and Much More

MKAZE walked away with the award for the Overall Artiste of the Year ( for his numerous hit song like Psycho,U cant be Me) .with a cash reward of 500k. Other winners on the nite include Soty,Blah, Frank d'Nero, Afy Douglas, I-B-E All Stars and more in the 24 categories,

We have all managed to endure the consistent "Congestion Try Later" messages that have become the norm when trying to load cards with MTN.
But Today they have finally messed up.
I woke up at 6am this morning, and since they people call me and all i hear is an empty line at the other end,
Again, I called a friend, it finally connected but instead of my friend,  i got someone in Kano who thought i was someone else who"HE" was calling,
It's just been crazy.
Again i tried to pick up a call and this time i heard a dial tone like i was the one calling, #
Abeg is this just a Port-Harcourt Thing?(it's affecting everyone here) or is it nationwide

I would call for a boycott of MTN's services until they improve. We certainly deserve better services considering the money they are making off us

This is great, am happy Nigerians are requesting more sensible music.
If i had posted such 3 years ago i would probably have been eaten raw by PSquare Fans,
