hmmmmmm this football wahala, make e no go break marriage oooooohh lol

Just dont know why guys are so obsessed with football as though their lives are staked on it haba, little wonder even teenagers have followed suit. I have a 14yr old nephew living with me who will not read his books but discuss/watch football with aldut. He is a great Barca fan who will skip his meals cos of fooball always telling me how 'we' are gonna buy more players, how 'we' will win as though he is a Barca player, how Ronadiho left and how is been underutilized in his present club etc etc, there is nothing this teen doesn't know about football Goooooooooooosh

RomanceRe: What Do U Do When The Wrong One Loves You Right? by Damysa(f): 1:08pm On Jun 04, 2010
What's all this talk about 'scared of commitment'huh I wonder what's wrong with guys/girls of these days,
I dont see a matured minded guy being sacred of commitment if you havent given him a reason to, only a Lilly-livered man will be afraid to take up challenges and stand up for what he believe in. Ladies these days do not listen to their hearts even when there are clear signals of trouble,  be wise.

ITgurlie and Lebee you girls need re-evaluate your relationship with these guys cos I smell a rat. To me only a man who is not sure about his girl will be scared to be committed totally.

ITgurlie you sounds kinda desperate and men will always take advantage of that, You had hardly gotten aacquaintedwith the second guy and u are already fantasizing about 'the wrong one loving you right' just because he calls you. shocked shocked shocked I guess that's your guy's perception about you that is making him scared to pop the question
CelebritiesRe: Emeka Ike:-winner Of Gulder Celebrity Showdown! by Damysa(f): 10:32am On Jun 01, 2010
I wonder who the organisers and the participants of the gulder ultimate search celebrity showdown are fooling, 2 weeks before they announced the winner yesterday i saw Daddy Showkey at  ojodu berger buying fuel at a filling station and i was just wondering that why is it so because i thought he was in the bush slong with her friends participating in the reality show but here he was driniv around the city and attending to business, this just concluded gulder ultimate search is a FAKE, they r just trying ton fool themselves.
Please note that the show wasnt a aired live as events were happening in the jungle, that's why it was being shown weekly. The show was already over before u you saw 'DADDY' at Ojodu.

Did anyone see the expression on Dare's face? I was quite dissapointed. Immediately Emeka Ike dug and shouted that he has seen the gublet, Darey was about muscling him out of the way to get the gublet but he just gave up. I saw dissapointment written all over his face because he was really close to the area where the gublet was hidden. Daddy Showkey was really matured.

Congrats to Emeka but Guiness must concentrate on enrishing the poor people living in the creeks.
The show was sponsored by Nigerian Breweries and not Guinness

And for all those hating/ranting because Emeka won, I just wonder why it has become a norm to  hate people's success rather than rejoice with them. I think it's just out of sheer jelousy, if Darey or Daddy Showkey had won this same people criticising would have still complained. personally I thought Darey would win but Emeka won with a very slim chance cos he was the last to arrive and applied less efforts.

Minutes into the last task I gave up on Emeka because he was so slow and probably tired, I think he too didnt know he was going to win or was he just being calculativehuh.

Anyways the lessons I have learnt here is that hardwork is not just enough to get u ahead in life, strategies + luck also helps.

@ Poster I think all that need to be said have been said so the choice is entirely yours to make.
Please sieve all the responses gotten so far and take the ones that suits you best.

If I were u I will pay more attention to chaircover, agaba, and  henry64’s  post. even if N90k is enough for your family now wot happens when u decide to expandhuh Or are u ok with just one kidhuh Will N90k carry 3 children, wifey and you for a monthhuh

Your wife is almost done with school so she can relocate. There are several radio houses in lagos and you bet they pay far more than 90k.

Well to me I think Enugu is for people that are laid back. There are far more prospects and better opportunities in Lagos than Enugu.
FamilyRe: How To Brush My One Year Old Son's Teeth by Damysa(f): 2:50pm On May 14, 2010
@Chaircover how about a 1yr 3mths old baby, will the drama u described above work with him/herhuh
cos I have a baby of that age, if I start making fusses at her, she will only laugh and think am playing with her.

These days she collects the cloth from me and attempts to brush herself, also feeding has become a nightmare as she will always want to feed herself. I end up using about five spoons for each meal and she will still collect all from me if I refuse giving her come and see drama, she will cry and wail profusely, roll on the ground, hit her head on anything ha I don see, okay if eventually leave to please herself, she will spill all the food and dirty/scatter everywhere kai women dey try abeg.

I now feed her with my bear hands(properly washed though) and she has followed suit except for liquids but I dont think it's hygienic enough but what can I do cos she will never eat.
FoodRe: Eating Yam Without Water Can Be Ruled As Suicide Pls Don't Try It. by Damysa(f): 2:00pm On May 13, 2010
Doctors Advice, never eat without water by your side, except its liquid food.
Reverse is the case now as some people/doctors now advice eating without drinking water.
they said that it's better to drink water 30mins before or after food as doing both is over-working the digestive organ.

My folks and colleagues have long started practising it even my 13yrs nephew has followed suit.

for me, cant eat without water, have had to try it but cant just put ma self through that all in the name of health consciousness

@IIade thanks for bringing  up this topic.

I wash my 1yr 3mths baby's teeth with a clean mouth towel in warm salted water but she cries each time.
infact that's the last thing she can take and I am wondering whyhuh she hates it alot.

Again at 1yr 3months she has only 4 teeth, 2 up 2down. people said it's normal that it happen in some babies but am apprehensive about it.

RomanceRe: Do Nigerians Always Marry Each Other? by Damysa(f): 12:03pm On Apr 28, 2010
What are you talking about? Anybody can read History! Besides why do you think it made the news

Part of our problem is that we get sentimental about issues and decide to rationalize out way out of it! A select minority 'praising' Non-Nigerians doesnt mean the Nigerains aer open to interracial marriage!

More and more Nigerians are marrying whites, but trust me, it has nothing to do with love!

If you think I'm lying, let's get details of the poster's relationship with her BF!
That a relationship isn't working is not always due to tribal differences, I could tell you most marriages between Nigerians could be a living hell. I married from my villlage and there have been loads and loads  problems/misunderstanding from inlaws, husband etc until we started ironing out things. Just before I stumbled into this post, I was just thinking maybe I should have married the other guy who wasnt from my village.

Even though the poster might have a sour relationship with her guy it might not just be connected to her tribe. To me marriage is who u are and not where u are from.

Basically I think I have to agree with Uju arguement all thru. I live in diaspora and I date a non-nigerian but I don't see myself getting married to her due to so many factors. Experience they say is a teacher and "wetin u no know pass U". I can't renounce my country n citizenship just because of a girl and vice versa and moreover, if u marry n give birth abroad, someday U would come back home for real and your wife might not wanna come with you because of the hardship n economic situation back home and your children would be a citizen of another country cos they where born. Wat is the joy of a mother or a father to see it children/grandchild around? Wat is your aim investing back home when you know your children wont come 2 nigeria to manage wen you are no more? Though some country encourage dual citizenship while some don't but I bet, your children can't and won't wanna stay in Nigeria after seeing all goods of life in an advance country. There are so many issues to look at wen marry a non-nigeria as it doesn't end in relationship but future ahead. Culture, tradition, distance as to do with it. I see interracial marriage as something that separate family cos I won't leave in your country forever and like her and my children would prefer living in a develop society so wat are you to do in this case?. If any1 is ready to sacrifice and renounce is country for love, think over it cos 1 day U would wanna go back to the same slum you where born or the same silverspoon you once eat with and that alone break marriage.
why must u bring your children home to suffer? whether oyibo or naija kids, when its time for them to be on thier own, they will leave u period. whether u have same culture, tradition etc is not a determining factor for a successful marriage.
FamilyRe: She Is Pregnant Again What Do I Do by Damysa(f): 4:26pm On Apr 26, 2010
You should be very happy that ur wifey is pregnant after one yr. that's fair enough
Please I beg u, dont consider aborting that child if she's really pregnant. Go to the health section of this forum and see what some people are going through.

Well for me, am happy for u cos by the time this baby would have been born ur 1st child will be two years, there is nothing to worry about.

As for her education, I have been in those shoes before and I can tell from my personal experience that there is no big deal to it.

I attended lectures with my 'heavy tommy' and it was all fun with all the teasing and yabbing from fellow students, I gave birth few weeks to my exams and there was no much stress cos I arranged for my younger to care for the baby while am in the hall. when she is crying too much I go out to quickly breastfeed and come back to continue my paper.

Nothing is too difficult for a detemined woman, I just rounded up school and my baby is a year+ now. It is not as difficult as it seems if well planned.

Cheers

if she like make she cry blood, she must goo

she is just too troublesome
oooh you also noticed it toohuh I used to see her as one homely and easy-going girl but she has proven otherwise,
always complaining and picking on Muma-Gee, I have lost my respect for her totally. Even when Muma tried to make peace with her she grudgingly came and the next day she started again, calling muma unprintable names saying she should go and be living with animals and not human beings that she doesn't want to co-exist with people. she is not just matured one bit, cant even control her emotions. Ha Chioma!!! I am very disappointed in you, I swear.
