And this is in front page because...?? |
Tony, you have stated well. In addition, supporting the candidacy of Lawan and Femi is giving arms length to Tinubu to annex Nigeria the same way he has done Lagos When Fashola attempted to stop Tinubu taking 20% of Lagos revenue monthly, the state house of assembly, pupetted by Tinubu, started impeachment proceeding against him When Ambode fell out with Tinubu the SHOA also tried to impeach him He who controls the legislature has a firm footing to influence the entire Nigeria. This must be resisted |
Freeze talks about not giving tithes to churches but preaches donations from members to his Free Nation church. What does this really mean and how different is it from the tithes he so preaches against His vitriolic against anyone commenting against his views is also unchristian like. His choice of words can hardly be deemed godly and more like street bashing and a race to abuse more I am not holding court for anyone but this Freeze man seems like the kind of individual people should be careful with |
Let me quickly add. I did not see anywhere the man said he wasnt happy with his daughters. He just voiced his frustrations at not having Male children after 9yrs. This is normal and we should not make a saint out of men. It's normal to see others having boys and girls easily and wonder "why me". Granted some dont even have kids at all but that's another level of frustration. None is any easier for we humans, who desire completeness To the comments on a man being responsible for the sex/gender of a child. This is a qualified yes. Qualified because basic biology says true. Advanced biology says not so true. I would explain shortly for the benefit of our younger generation Indeed the man produces the X and Y chromosomes while the woman only the X. So if the man gives out the X the combination becomes XX and therefore a girl child. If he gives the woman Y, it becomes XY and therefore a boy. Simple right? Not quite so There are several factors that influences which of these chromosomes is actually given to the woman. During intercourse the man gives both: X and Y. Several factors determine which gets to the woman. Since these factors are outside the man's control, you can then see why it is not completely his determination that leads to the gender One of those important factors is the PH level of the woman's birth canal. If her PH level is highly acidic, the fragile Y chromosomes would be killed before getting a chance to fertilise her egg leaving only the Stronger X chromosome to survive and fertilise her egg. A woman with a high PH level invariably produces mostly female kids unless treated and supervised by a gynae during the conception process. A high alkaline canal is a perfect condition for having Male kids conversely. Please read this up. This is why you see some women having serial Male kids and some mostly females. In some rare cases a strong Y chromosome defies the odd in an acidic environment to fertilise the egg. It happens and science hasn't really explained how this happens but its occurrences are usually rare Another factor is timing of intercourse itself. For a woman with a balanced PH level, the timing is also essential for having Male or female kids. This is a much simpler biology based on the longevity of the X and Y chromosomes when they are released. Science has proven that the Y chromosomes are fragile and survives in the woman's body for about 24hrs whereas the stronger X chromosome can live for 4 or more days thereby increasing the likelihood that it would be lurking around long after intercourse to act on a subsequent ovulation. The Y chromosomes released when the woman is not ovulating would be long dead if ovulation occurs days after intercourse whereas the X chromosome would still be there to act These are important facts which often leads to the wrong assumption it is a man that determines the gender of the child. Ultimately he releases both chromosomes but the gamble of which wins are entirely as much to do with the woman's body as it is to do with what he has produced |
This is why sex after marriage is advocated. In situations like these they can still marry as long as the love is there. With treatment U= U. Undetectable equals untransmitable . Once her virus becomes undetectable she wont be able to infect the husband All in all, a tricky situation |
The husband had slept with her in a hotel before yet went along to trap the mistress with his wife. This is just so low and barbaric. Granted the mistress took it too far by even dating a married man let alone going to his matrimonial home, but this tortuous and deceitful lot should be taught a serious lesson. How can you torture and disgrace a grown woman like this. Can those flogging her claim not to have slept with someone other than their spouses in the past? He that is without sin should cast the first stone |
Our politicians have no shame. How can one be sponsored by a political party(with a completely different manifesto)and dump them for another, while still retaining the glory achieved with that party's name The electrocrate are being conned. They voted for the man and the party, and this man may likely have lost if he contested on his new platform and their manifesto. There should be a law banning this. Everywhere else If you wish to defect, they first resign and contest a bye election on their new party's platform. Here one can simply wake up and cross carpet without a penalty. Methinks this is wrong |
We have so much disregard for proper planning and growth in this country. When youths turn to crime to make ends meet, people would scream. Many countries are reducing taxes for businesses, to encourage investment and hence employment. Here we are talking of increasing taxes while providing nothing, absolutely no platform nor infrastructure for businesses to thrive. Killing the few that are able to function CIT consists of corporate tax, VAT and withholding tax. Mr Fowler earlier this year froze the accounts of millions of SMEs, claiming they haven't paid taxes. Most went out of business. He is advocating for more rate hike later in the year Rather than look for more ways to generate income, this government which provides nothing for businesses are doing all they can to send the few ones into bankruptcy. We already have one of the highest tax rates in the world. People naturally comply in tax payment when they see their monies used judiciously for all Trump just reduced corporate tax despite the huge infrastructural support for businesses in America. Here we want to tax more and provide less. |
SKhanmi:The main risk factors for human pentastomiasis is snakeborne parasites from eating snake organs. No effective chemotherapeutic antiparasitic treatment has been established to date. When humans are infected by such parasites the end result usually is death When well prepared risk is vastly reduced as intense heating can kill off the pathogens |
hakeem4:I pray that this is a joke. It's like saying that because planes sometimes crash no one should travel by air. Funny way of thinking. No wonder police dig potholes on otherwise good roads to create traffic jams and use such as check points We are indeed are reflections of our society |
ikman52000:Even if this is so, it teaches a very pivotal moral lesson to our today's wayward youths |
I am totally with her on this. The person that gave her the car surely must expect or is expected to want something in return. If she is not ready to play his ball, the wisest thing was what she did. It doesn't matter if she is dating someone less wealthy, it is her choice. Not everyone would choose a dangote in marriage even if he proposed. I have seen a friend, a guy, refuse a similarly expensive donation from an admiring female simply because he knew it was a Greek gift and he didnt wish to hurt his fiancee's feelings. Unfortunately we are in a highly materialistic society and such incidents of honour tend to be rare and people see such rarity as lies Remember what you gain at the cradle, you likely would lose at the roundabout |
Don't forget it was Osinbajo that substantially appointed the CJN when Buhari refused to forward this name to the Senate for confirmation. As destiny would have it illness pushed PMB aside and Osinbajo did the needful The man obviously knows what his principal has done is illegal and answering questions on it would be dangerous as his response would be recorded in history |
https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/7-in-chicago-area-charged-with-wire-fraud-after-operation-gold-phish-sting/ Seven people in the Chicago area were arrested Tuesday for allegedly bilking Internet users of at least $2 million in online scams over the past two years. Their arrests took place two weeks after each was charged with conspiracy to commit a wire fraud scheme, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. If convicted, the defendants face a maximum 20 years in prison. ADVERTISING The seven in the Chicago area were: Daniel Samuel Eta, 35, of Skokie; Babatunde Ladehinde Labiyi, 20, of Chicago; Barnabas Oghenerukevwe Edjieh, 29, of Chicago; Sultan Omogbadebo Anifowoshe, 26, of Chicago; Babatunde Ibraheem Akarigidi, 39, of Chicago; Miracle Ayokunle Okunola, 21, of Chicago; Olurotimi Akitunde Idowu, 55, of Chicago. Another person was arrested in Texas, and the ninth was arrested in Nigeria. For two years, their victims became an “unwitting money mule” for the defendants, according to an FBI affidavit. The defendants slowly built a connection with the victims, posing as their romantic partner or boss before requesting deposits into bank accounts they opened under fake passports. Some platforms used to seek out these victims include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Match.com. The defendants often tried to emotionally manipulate their victims, including by targeting a woman who admitted she was recently widowed and felt lonely, according to the affidavit. One victim believed he or she was dating a woman with cancer named “Claire Anderson” and sent her funds to “travel to Nigeria for family reasons.” In a yet another romance scam, a fake Instagram account under the alias “Sarah Allison” told a victim she needed “financial help” to acquire a $2.5 million inheritance. From November 2017 to this October, the victim sent a total $38,100 to accounts under the names “Chattman Ronald Stewart” and “Beckham Dave Smith.” There was also an alleged “mystery shopper” scam that entailed hiring victims to cash in United States Postal Service money orders or United States Mail checks and then send the funds to a third party using their personal bank account, the affidavit said. Victims were told they would receive commissions for doing so — but the money orders and checks were fake, resulting in the victim or the victim’s bank absorbing the loss. Among other deceits, defendants carried out employment fraud schemes as well, the affidavit said. The work-from-home scam involved telling the victim to deposit funds to a bank account as part of the fake company’s business dealings. Once the group got the money, they funneled the proceeds into their personal bank accounts or overseas, often Nigeria, the affidavit said. At least three times, the money was used to pay for vehicles on behalf of a Nigerian car company owned by one of the defendants. The defendants’ cover was blown following an federal sting known as “Operation Gold Phish,” which included a search of the phones and other devices used to advance these scams, the FBI said. Investigators found evidence such as emails of the mystery shopper letters as well as mailing lists of their victims. body{margin:0; padding:0; background:transparent;} " style="box-sizing: border-box; display: block !important; background: transparent !important; height: 16px !important;"> The FBI interviewed at least 18 victims and verified their financial losses, according to the affidavit. One such victim appeared to have caught on to the trick and, in a profanity-laden note, hinted that the scammer would soon get his comeuppance. “I would like to tell you that you (screwed) the wrong person,” the victim messaged one of the defendants last September. |
MissRaine69:Precisely. I was wondering why someone in this age can be taking 20 pills for HIV daily. The new meds regime is even one combining all these into one I am sure this is for other medical issues they have aside HIV |
This is extremely unlikely as IVF is highly regulated and the genotype incompatibility must have been spotted and prevented If this happened then they did natural insemination I can't even see someone using his best friend to father his children. Makes no sense whatsoever |
Let us continue to play politics with our future. Tomor we would complain about the situation of things and how nothing works. What I have read above are close friends of those in power supporting decisions that would subvert the upcoming polls and achieve predetermined ends Let us not forget that INEC had been approved funds for the use of electronic voting equipment by NASS. This was already ore planned and the technology for this is everywhere. We simply want to continue the nightmare of rigging, killing and ballot snatching. May those that supports this be victims of those violence or their loved ones |
Leadership editors approved this story to be published? This rag actually thinks we are all stupid or something. The world over technology has replaced manual process for efficiency and credibility. Goal line technology and VAR reviews have totally eliminated errors and manipulation of football matches. Elections in Nigeria are fraught with rigging. Just take a look at the sham we had in Edo, Ekiti and Osun and tell me again we don't need technology in our elections Must we continue on the path of ballot box snatching, electoral violence and outright rigging just so we can win fraudulent. If the government in power believes they have done well, there is no need to fear accurate electoral result. The refusal to sign shows those in power have plans on making sure they win the upcoming polls fraudulently. Why should people even bother to vote in this situation The reason the president gave isn't ok with me as he had countless opportunities to sign this bill several months ago and kept finding reasons to refuse. Now he is claiming it is too close to the election. The truth is he doesn't want electoral credibility and we should ask why |
obailala:This is a wrong analogy. The fraudsters decieve their victims often the victims assume they are sending money to someone they aren't. In some cases they're fooled into paying for non existent goods. That a fraud What the boy is saying is the tithers pay out of their faith, beliefs and generosity. Many supported a cause they believed in just like many supports their candidates in an election because they believe in them. They pay cos they are toeing a biblical path. Their faith. It's like asking a Moslem why he must pray 5 times a day or spend huge resources to go to Mecca where he might die Let he or she practise in peace what they believed in. There is no emotional blackmail here. This is biblical and if they believe it to be so, it is entirely their act. |
We must insist an end to bloodshed and rigging. What happened in Edo, Ekiti and Osun should be consigned to the dustbin of history with this amended act. It's time we take a positive step for once. Those holding us back must stop already Why would someone not want card readers and electronic transmission of results for God's sake! Why should we continue on the path of electoral violence and rampant rigging when the solution is there and someone in authority is saying NO just for personal and partisan benefit. This goes to show some people feel the only way to power is when the will of the people is subverted and they fear being voted out if the process is free and fair This is so not ok |
Last week there was a story that Momoh collected N4b to kill negative stories about the govt and propagate their positive news. A lot of people thought this was fake news. This cesspit of lies now hanging over a supposed credible news organisation is another huge nail in the coffin of our diminishing democracy. The lies are even totay unnecessary. Is it today we knew that the Efcc is a tool by the govt in power? Do they really need to lie to us about this basic truth. If they want to lie I expected channels being a media house that should have some semblance of unbaisedness to come up with something more convincing that this lame excuse Goes to show how corrupt most institutions in Nigeria are. Very sad |
The woman directly stated That it is risky for her to allow the husband bath the daughter's. She even went further to state that past victims trusted their husbands with their daughters Nothing was twisted here as this man is saying. No one twisted her comments. The meaning and translation was clear. That a well educated woman would say this about her own husband is baffling unless of course he is what she implied or even directly stated. His attempt to "re package" her comments is shallow unless he is admitting directly to her fears The unfortunate thing about this is that a lot of women would suddenly start asking and fearing if it is right for their husbands to bath their daughters and would start reconsidering this. It may even go beyond bathing as some women would soon even start feeling uncomfortable when their husbands carry their daughters. Even though they won't say it. This idea has somehow been implanted into women's minds |
I don't think it's right that she gets money from you without informing her husband That's akin to adultery. If he knows and doesn't think he should thank you for it, then you may review the gesture Its more likey he isn't aware which makes the entire act risky and morally suspect. The bible says to flee from all appearances of evil. It doesn't have to be evil as long as it looks like ones you should flee |
It is a huge surprise that people actually believe this document to be genuine and have been so vociferous in their argument I do not contend which argument is correct or not but a simple look at this paper shows it is doctored, at least in my opinion. For one you can see the water Mark on the date 1st June 1984. It obviously looks tippexed. The Union is wrongly spelt on the logo. The date on the stamp is too dark compared to other fonts, a clear edited part. The word "ANSWERED" makes no sense in banking and on a bank stamp Paragraph three is riddled with the same water marks like someone using tipex to clean a previous writing. The most dubious statement on this paragraph which would fool non bankers is the assertion that COT would be charged at the rate of 20 kobo percent!! COT aren't charged in percent like loan rates but rather charged per one thousand. It previously is N5 per one thousand known in banking parlance as N5 per mille. This assertion is unknown to banking and false This is my personal view and I conclude this document is a mere fabrication. |
If not that Nigerian elections are so callously and openly rigged one would expect the electorates in Lagos to stage an open revolt and vote against this type of lies and intimidation. It is only here that people would lie openly, knowing that those they are lying to knows they are lying and expect no consequences Sadly the elections are rarely credible and as such you would expect this type of nonsense. |
voting for Sanwo-Olu meant granting the APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a sixth term. So true |
9ja083:I am surprised many aren't seeing she was just plain sarcastic. |
This is the most distressing news I have heard this year. Victor Akinbile!!!! One of the smartest chartered accountant I have ever known. Humble, smart and a consumate banker. God why ![]() Only God knows best. I wonder how the young wife and three kids would be feeling right now. My heart is so broken |
Reference:We keep stereotyping this. It simply isn't true. Do a research on how many Brits emigrate out of the UK annually. Do the same about how many Americans leave America to live in other countries You would find the numbers mind boggling Back to your claim. Yes Nigerians travel like other nationals. Some do not come back like other nationals. I do not have the stats but what I do know is that when you visit any major airports around the world , you would see a crowd of Nigerians at the departure lounge returning to Nigeria after a brief trip abroad We should stop this demonizing already. I strongly believe this is now a bandwagon |
SoNature:On the contrary, the paper you refer to is pre printed and is the same issued to all that are denied visa Do you call that a reason? I am aware it points to their immigration law that says the applicant failed to convince the visa officer that he or she has sufficient ties to their country to which they would return. But how does everyone get to be issued this same reason and you expect them to know the specific defect they need to correct in future applications The UK and Canada would point out the exact specific reasons for denying you visa such that you can work to overcome them in future applications I am not here to debate if Nigerians are running away en masse. I studied in Nigeria and abroad and I know several Nigerians that did so and are back here. The apocalyptic outcry that we are all running away isn't what I intend to debate here but if someone paid hard earned money for a visa, if he or she is deemed unqualified, for heaven's sake give them a clear enough reason why that is so |
The rate of denials of visa from the consulate is alarming. There appears to be a policy shift as people that ordinarily qualifies for a visa are refused these days Not all Nigerians 're running away. There exists several airline routing to the US daily and this would only have been possible because many visit and return otherwise who would those airlines be catering for The UK and most other countries explain their reasons for denying visas to applicants in writing, making it easy for those denied to work on those areas and correct them. The fact the US issues pre printed papers with no pointer to why applicants are refused makes the entire experience difficult and people are left to make the same mistakes over and over While other countries continue to adjudicate their visa decision based on documents, the consulate continue to do document free visa adjudication making the process lottery like. Those qualified but less prepared fail, while unqualified applicants but well prepared are issued visas. This also leads to more applicants who never returns, which are used to punish the countries involved in future visa decisions They need to really review their process |
