Interesting hilarious list gotten from the internet. The writer listed Nigerian celebrities as diseases and explained the meaning of the diseases in an exceptional way. Enjoy below. 1. Davidotis: A psychiatric condition whereby a sufferer survives speculations of whether genuine talent or one’s father’s wealth is the source of one’s success, alongside a pervading comparison with an equally talented whiz-kid. 3. eyeview:Leave the doubters, till the slap reach their local government |
Controversial Nigerian Senator Chris Anyanwu has done it again. Over the weekend, the alleged trouble maker beat up a PDP leader at a meeting of delegates in Ezinihitte - Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State. Eyewitnesses said Chris Anyanwu and Ezinihitte PDP Chairman Chinemerem Madu engaged each other in a heated argument that led to a physical fight on Saturday the 1st of November 2014 during a meeting/ election of delegates. At the height of argument, Chris Anyanwu allegedly reached out to Madu and gave him a dirty slap on the right cheek. In exchange, we learnt Mr Madu reached back to her and gave her several hot slaps that caused her to roar like a wounded lion. Her yell reportedly attracted the attention of onlookers who couldn’t but blame her for making the first move. She was later rescued from Madu who according to sources meant to teach her the lesson of her life. Fillers in Imo State alleged that Chris Anyanwu is a trouble maker that slaps her husband at will, throws slippers and shoes at men at the slightest provocation. Chris slapped Madu because she was displeased with the PDP Chairman’s attitude and because of his loyalty to Honourable Emeka Ihedioha. She was reportedly rushed to the hospital for checkup when she complained of breathing problems. Which kind madam be this…. Na wa o. Source: Naijagists

The Chris Giwa-led faction of the Nigeria Football Federation has overturned the decision of the body earlier taken by the opposing faction of Amaju Pinnick to reinstate Stephen Keshi as the Super Eagles coach. The Amaju-led faction replaced Keshi with Amodu Shaibu a fortnight ago after leading the Super Eagles to a 3-1 victory over Sudan in Abuja. The win was the team’s first in four matches in the qualifying series for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. The Giwa faction took over the NFF following Thursday’s ruling by a Jos Federal High Court, which ordered the return of the status quo in the NFF before the September 30 election that brought in the Amaju-led board in Warri. A part of the communique released on Friday by the Giwa-led board reads, “The NFF board reviewed and feels so strongly to sustain the out-of-contract assignment given to the technical crew of the Super Eagles led by Stephen Keshi at a very critical moment like this. Nigerians want the national team to play well, win and a pride to them.” The board also dissolved all committees set up by the Amaju group and constituted new ones to manage the nation’s football. Giwa told Sunday PUNCH on the telephone on Saturday that he would have no problem bringing Keshi back to manage the Super Eagles despite the coach saying he was prepared to move on after the NFF failed to renew his contract. “I don’t have problem bringing Keshi back; he has not told me he was not interested. I’ve spoken with him and there are positive signs he is ready to lead the team to success,” Giwa said. “I’ve never met Keshi before but I cannot agree with the idea of replacing the coach at a time we have crucial matches to play and qualify for the Nations Cup. “Inasmuch as I don’t have anything against Amodu, I don’t think it is the right time to bring him on board. Amodu has not coached any team in that capacity for a long time, and this is a crucial time when we need to be on top of everything.” The Amaju group, however, said it was not losing sleep over the activities of the Giwa faction. The group confirmed on Saturday it has filed a Stay of Execution at the Federal High Court, Jos Judicial Division over the court’s ruling of Thursday. The hearing of the case Stay of Execution comes up on Wednesday. “We’re not losing sleep over this, we’ll get what we want from the court because we’ve not done anything wrong by conducting the NFF elections,” a member of the Amaju-led board said. This question is mostly for the guys - but ladies feel free to participate. So yesterday I jokingly asked a few friends about this and couldn't believe how serious they took it, so decided to bring it here. Question is; 1. You will never listen to music ever again in your life or 2. You will never watch a football match ever again in your life. Which would you chose? |
Is the judiciary system in Africa corrupt... Only God knows the truth but I was surprised that Oscar's Ex still made an accusation of him once threatening her with a gun. |
South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been given five years in jail for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. In court in Pretoria, Judge Thokozile Masipa also gave Pistorius a three-year suspended sentence for a firearms charge. Pistorius has now been taken to the cells. Prosecutors had called for a minimum 10-year term, and the defence argued for community service and house arrest. Pistorius was convicted of culpable homicide but cleared of murder. 'Feeling of unease' Defence lawyer Barry Roux said his client was expected to serve 10 months in prison, with the rest under house arrest. The BBC's Andrew Harding, in court, says the parents of Reeva Steenkamp, Barry and June, tell him they are happy with the sentence and relieved the case is over. Reacting to the sentence, Dup De Bruyn, a lawyer for the Steenkamp family, told Reuters that "justice was served". Judge Masipa had begun reading the sentence by saying that, although she had been aided by assessors, the decision was hers and hers alone. She said: "Sentencing is about achieving the right balance. Sentencing is not a perfect exercise." She said there must be a balance between retribution, deterrence and rehabilitation. The judge then summarised the evidence brought before the trial. She described the evidence of defence witness and social worker Annette Vergeer as "slapdash and disappointing". Ms Vergeer had argued Pistorius would be "a lot more vulnerable than the normal man" in jail. But Judge Masipa said she was sure prisons were equipped to cater for the requirements of a special needs inmate. His family is not planning to appeal. He will serve a minimum of 8 months, after that, he'll probably be sent home to serve the remainder of his sentence under strict supervision controls. This will be up to SA Correction Services. What do you guys think of this sentence? Too light, severe or appropriate? Source: www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-29700457

Nigeria's total crude oil sales was $470B in all 5 years of Pre. Jonathan's administration and $489B for Yaradua+Obasanjo+Abdusalami+Abacha administrations combined, in unadjusted numbers. Adjusted for inflation, the numbers are $488.8B vs. $ 594B for Jonathan vs. Yaradua+Obj+Abdusalami +Abacha combined. To arrive at these numbers, I took average monthly production - very fine data resolution, and calculated how much dollars volumes we sold each year. For adjustment for inflation, I used 2.5% annual $ inflation rate. To put inflation adjustment in perspective, $1.00 in 1999 is equivalent to $1.44 in 2014. In just 5 years, Jonathan's administration has generated as much crude oil sales as all 16 years of Yaradua, Obasanjo, Abdusalami and Abacha's administrations combined in unadjusted numbers. This comes to $470B vs $489B in unadjusted numbers. When adjusted for inflation, the numbers are $488.8B vs. $594B for Jonathan vs. Yaradua+Obj +Abdusalami+Abacha combined. The numbers are what they are because oil price has risen almost 7-8 folds during this period, nearly an order of magnitude increase. In addition to price increase, Nigeria's crude oil output has also increased. I am hoping we can start asking tough questions, we'd continue to be hoodwinked. My question again is simple: even with 2.5% annual inflation adjustment, the numbers are $488.8b vs $594b. Does the investment in Nigeria in the past 5 years add up to ~$500B. Well, i guess we ‘ve all seen this man in videos and photos online.. I just never knew he now has a wife and kids… World’s happiest man alive, Australian Evangelist Nick Vujicic born without limbs married a beautiful lady, Kane Miyahara some years back. The couple welcome a beautiful baby boy last year. The motivational speaker was born with a rare disorder called tetra amelia sydrome (absence of 4 limbs at birth). Though he struggled with his physical disability as a child but later on in life, he eventually let go of his struggle and gave his life to Christ. At 17, he started an organization called Life Without Limbs. Few hours ago Nick shared adorable photos of his family members with fans.

A Buhari/Fashola combination stands to offer lot of advantages. We all know Buhari as a man of good virtue, who did not corruptly enrich himself. The APC stands a better chance to defeat President Goodluck Jonathan who has been endorsed as the sole candidate of the PDP for the 2015 presidential election. A Buhari/Fashola team would give the Peoples Democratic Party a good fight in the presidential elections.Fashola will make a good president but if the presidency is zoned to the North, then he will make a perfect running mate to Buhari. Irregardless of his political party affiliation, Nigerians will vote overwhelmingly for Fashola if he’s permitted to run as either VP or President. The man has changed Lagos state for the better.

No fewer than 107 members of the Boko Haram sect have been killed by Cameroonian soldiers. This development is coming barely 24 hours after the bloodthirsty group announced a ceasefire. www.dailypost.ng/2014/10/18/107-boko-haram-members-killed-cameroonian-soldiers/ Seriously am against the ceasefire....these bloody facade are losing na,why settle with them after thousands they killed, raped, stole and destroyed |
Is this not a way for the BH guys to reinforce and attack again later when presently thousands of them were killed? Thanks for the special aid from the Cameroun force |
Let's discuss folks. I've been reading a lot of comments and articles on this matter and it looks like opinions are divided. The Nigerian military yesterday announced a ceasefire with Boko Haram after years of terrorism from the group, which has resulted in the deaths of thousands of innocent Nigerians.
