The chinese govt,and other countries with leaders who mean well fos there citizens are giving the americans a run for there money? Why wount u so called govt? Cos they go caps in hand begging for loan at every little oportunity. Until we develop our economy,we wil continue to be a push over in the international community.

you dont have to hurl insults and call names to make ur point,shows how shallow minded one is. Rant as u want,it can never change those policies. It all boils down to ur government of which if competent,vibrant and responsible etc,can engage them diplomatically and find equal landing for both parties

From what op wrote, the man returned home I. 1968, when he was injured not when the war ended. Which means 2019 minus 1968 is 51 years ago, the man being 69 now, if you subtract 69 from 51, it means that he was 18 when he returned home in 1968 as a result of the injury.


As for his son. 38 in 2019 means that he was born in 1981. 13 years after his father returned home in1968. Which means the father gave birth to him at the age of 31.

It is still logical.


My point is, was the Gabon friend the only one aware that this man died? Are there no other survivors of the war, I mean from the same battalion? Let the Gabon man look for ways to find them and let’s know what really happened.

you raised valid points unlike many people that have commented so far.

The man in question knows Mr T to the extent of knowing his family and village .
during the war many children were forcefully conscripted into the Biafran army and today some of them are still alive to tell the stories.

The Gabon man from the story is Mr T's kinsman and so they must have known each other very well during the time and after the war many dispersed and there were cases of people who never returned from the battle front till date.

The op from all indications is telling the truth as I have heard eye witness accounts of similar cases before.
