Was in elementary 2 then. Our school has three different football fields, standard ones at that and during break time their is enough space to play football etc.

Now there is an excavated site bordering the school and heaps clay soil was close bye. The heap was as big as a hill like two/three storey building overlooking the fields.

We discovered an abandoned caterpillar tyre left behind by the excavators and hid it up the hill. Now you know how big those tyres can be. An adult can lie curled up inside the tyre.

Now we formed a game where we tow the tyre up the mountain and then cast a lot amongst us on who would lie curled up inside the tyre and the tyre would be rolled down the hill overlooking the fields.
It ws fun as the tyre would roll down the hill an loose momentum down the field and stop

On the fateful day it was my turn. Curled up inside the tyre and the tire was given a big shove and instead of rolling, started bouncing down the hill.

I was scared at the same time braving it until when everybody started shouting at a point.

The tyre instead of stopping at the fields went past towards the main road and collided with a cyclist. Our school was not fenced.

Everything happened very fast. And I lost consciousness. Woke 3days later in the hospital with a broken arm and leg...

The school was never the same after that and my parents changed my school to a nearbye one
