JANE'S AMAZING TRANSFORMATION

Jane (not real name) was a 20 years old girl, with the mental development of a 2 years old.

When ever she attends Church services, she sits inappropriately, urinate on her own body, make noise. She does all what a 2 years old would do, and everyone was tired of her situation.

But one Sunday, after hearing the gospel, she received salvation, and her transformation began.

The following Sunday, everyone was amazed when they saw Jane in Church. She walked elegantly, sat majestically, and was overtly composed. It was a new Jane.

Converting sinners to saints, healing body, minds and hearts, that's what the gospel can do.

Romans 1:16....the gospel of Christ..is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth...

WHEN OTHERS ARE PREFERRED ABOVE YOU.

Genesis 29:31 And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb.....

Have you ever been in a situation where your being sidelined irrespective of your gifts?

Are others promoted while you are relegated even though you've worked hard and are well deserving?

Well let's dive into the biblical family of Jacob. Jacob favoured Racheal, more than leah his first wife to the extent of taking the firstborn's birthright, which entitles a firstborn to a larger inheritance in Jewish law, from Reuben, his oldest and Leah's son, to Joseph, who was his second-youngest son and Rachel's son.

He even used Leah and her Children which were born to him as human Shield when he wanted to see his brother Esau. What do you think Leah would have felt?

God saw this partiality, and blessed Leah. Among Jacobs Children, 3 became very great and amongst these 3, two of them were Leah's Children; Levi who became the tribe of priests, and Judah who David was a descendant of, and also the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Jesus) is a descendant.

The third was Joseph Rachel's son who also became very great.

Are you sidelined, don't worry. God is keeping you and preparing you for something really bigger than what your anticipating.
Genesis 29, 33:2, Rev 5:5, 1Chron5:1, Mat 1:1.

Christianity EtcRe: Which One Comes First, When Choosing A Life Partner; Prayer Or Friendship. by Dangerousboy(m): 3:46pm On Oct 06, 2021
The Bible says that he that finds a 'wife'. Before there is a finding there must be a searching. Now you don't go about searching in the market or wherever. Before you even pray for one, you must know what you want. Not every woman is a wife.

So, you know what you want, and you prayerfully search. Prayer brings God into the equation. You pray he should lead you.

Now concerning friendship, a lot of people will say marry your friend or best friend, and there is a truth in that. but someone can be a good friend to you, but a bad spouse for you. So friendship does not guarantee a successful marriage.

When you know what you want and you pray, God will lead you to the person suitable for you. Now there are many persons suitable for you, but nevertheless he will lead you to one. You will discover the person anywhere e.g market, Church, party, school, e.t.c.

And please when your praying, pray for a woman who will be submissive to you. And for the women, pray for a man who will love you.
As you can see, I took time to counsel you and it's as if am writing my devotional, because I want you and everyone who read and would read this to make the right choices. Your blessed.

DEALING WITH MENTAL STRONG HOLDS

2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holdswink

Even though the Isrealites left slavery, they still had the mentality of slaves. They wanted to go back to (Egypt) slavery. They even forced Samuel to appoint a king to rule over them, why? Because their minds have been conditioned through the years to think like slaves.

A begger was taken off the street by an organization. He was dressed up, had a nice haircut, and appeared on the front page of a major news paper, of how one can be transformed. Guess what? The following Monday, he was found on the street begging.

Mental strongholds are ideas, concepts, beliefs, thought patterns, that we hold on to that is not in line with God's word and will for us. These becomes obstacles in our lives.

Strongholds takes time to form, and when they are formed they take time to pulldown or to destroy. why? Because of the process of Conditioning.

So to overcome negative strongholds, one needs a reprogramming, or reconditioning of the mind. This is done as we align our thoughts with God's thoughts by meditating on his word. Eph 4:23, Joshua 1:8, Romans 12:2, Heb 4:12.

It's hard fa!

Saying 'sorry' and 'I'm sorry, I take responsibility' are two different things o. Lmao

I understand you dear, you're not alone
I have a friend like this... Anything short of this is not probably acceptable. But you have to understand that we're different and the way we express ourselves is different...

This also gets to the way we apologise and accept apologies

I learnt this from the five languages of apology (although I'm still reading the book)

It's a good book, I recommend it for you. You'd get to understand other people's perspective and how you can live in peace with people who don't speak the same apology language with you

Peace
5 languages of apology? Wow

WHEN THE WORD GROWS

Acts 19:20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

If you notice, God did not increase the word the disciples did.We have the responsibility of increasing and growing the word in our lives.

We do this by exposing our selves to The word, taking it in bountifuly through study, reading, meditating, etc.

It went on to say the word prevailed. In other words, the word had the upper hand, it dominated.

When the word dwells abundantly in you concerning any situation, it begins to prevail. It begin to dominate that situation, because there is power in the word. Heb 4:12.

WHAT YOU OWE YOUR COUNTRY

1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

The Cancer of the black race is greed, and this is the root cause of corruption. The love of Money and Power among our leaders and even among it's citizens, is so overwhelming.

The Average African leader wants to hold on to power even though he is underperforming.

Greed and selfishness has eaten deep into our government and Politics, that's why they keep looting and embezzling public funds. Little wonder a late Pop Icon Wrote a song tittled; ''They don't care about us."

For those of us in Politics, we should focus on changing the status quo. For those of us not in Politics, we can change things with prayers. We are not here by mistake, we are you to make a difference.

Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

It should be to be HONEST first, before faithful and then loyal.
People who lie to Nigeria everyday can NEVER be faithful or loyal to Nigeria.
That is why Nigeria is failing.

WHEN PEOPLE'S OPINION OF YOU MATTERS

A lot of persons are afraid to go against popular opinion or societal norms to archieve their goals because of the fear of what others would think or say about them, and this can hinder them from being their very best.

In as much as we don't live our life based on societal expectations or dictates, sometimes it is necessary to get people's opinion about you for self evaluation.

Jesus' asked his disciples (friends) what other people say about him, and finally what they themselves say about him because, it is those who are really close to you that would be able to detect your excesses to a large extent.

We don't live by what people say, but by God's word, but sometimes we find out people's opinion about us to keep our Character in Check because we are the light of the world.

Mark 8:27 ......by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?
