Christianity EtcRe: How Long Does It Take To Receive The Holyspirit After Salvation? by Dangerousboy(m): 9:01am On Jun 26, 2022
Mikee19:
Amen! You already have the Holy Spirit within you anyways when you get saved, so why would he hesitate to fill you in the baptism of the Spirit too?
that's what I just answered. I doubt you read through the whole write up. He doesn't hesitate, he can even fill you now if you want him to.
Christianity EtcRe: How Long Does It Take To Receive The Holyspirit After Salvation? by Dangerousboy(m): 9:22am On Jun 25, 2022
From the question you asked, I perceive your from a denomination that believes one has to be born again for a while and fully sanctified, before they can receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

Mind you, when a man gets born again, he receives the Person of the Holy Spirit or the indwelling presence in his spirit. (Roms 8:9,11,16)

When a man is filled with the Holy Spirit, he receives the power of the Holy Spirit for service. Acts 1:8

Now this empowerment or infilling is a continuous thing. You can and should get filled continuously till you get to overflowing. Then the Holy Spirit will flow through you to others. This is your responsibility. Acts 4:8,31. Eph 5:18-20

Now to your question, HOW LONG SHOULD ONE WAIT?
Well one thing you have to do is search the scripture whenever you're taught anything from anyone including an Angel or the Lord if he appears to you because he always speak in accordance with his word. If it's not in line with the word, then you have to question the source.

IMMEDIATELY ONE IS BORN AGAIN HE CAN RECEIVE THE INFILLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
He doesnt have to go through any process, he need not beg or cry because just like salvation, the Holy Spirit is a free gift. As a matter of fact the infilling is one of the riches of salvation.

Take a look at Cornelius household. Acts 10 they received the same day they believed.

Look at the Samaritans they received immediately they got born again Acts 8. now some of these people practiced magic, they had unclean spirits, but they received the Holy Spirit immediately the believed.

And lastly in Acts 19 Paul met some of John's followers and asked them if they have received or have been filled with the Holy Spirit but they were amazed, having never heard of any Holy Spirit. But after praying they received.

You don't have to wait, or cry to receive. It is yours. Now for you to be filled, get some one who is filled already with the evidence of speaking in tongues to lay hand's on you or you can just ask in faith believing, and you will receive.

Hallelujah.

So, you did not see that Saul lost his goodly spirit and became a murderous beast?

Or is it Samson?

Or David, who lost all his glory when he cheated on Micah his wife and got into troubles and destruction hence the Psalms of cries and pleas and confessions?

Which is why he even clearly warns in Proverbs about 3 or 4 times from chapters 5 to 9 and chapter 31;3 flee from women!

Men who sleep with women never obtain the Glory of God and nor enter into His Way of Life.

Check out all the people honoured by God, they stuck to their one wife. Even Abraham corrected his error and I am certain Jacob later saw that it was Leah that was his True female as proven by her blessings.
according to your analysis Solomon should be burning in hell abi?

There's something about ministers. Sometimes we make ourselves invisible as if we are not hurt or bad things don't happen to us. Many of us are wounded healers.

If you have a pastor pray for him, pray for ministers all around the world because you never can tell what they are going through.

Like I told you all that I had a loss, this is the second time my gadget is being stolen this year within three months. If I haven't said it, many of you would think am a superman.

Please pray for yourselves and pray for ministers also. Goodmorning

Hello good people of Religionland. I hope we all are doing great.

Sadly my device which I use to prepare my articles was stolen earlier today in an ugly fashion.

You see, sometimes I wonder how God feels because the humanity your trying to save and serve is the same humanity that would hurt you.

Hopefully, I should resume all activities here before the month end. That means I won't be posting for now.

I want to use this opportunity to say thanks to all those who takes time to read my articles, comments and like. Thanks Eviana for your encouragement. Special thanks to those who are following me, you see the good in what I do, and a reason to. God bless you.

Dangerousboy is going nowhere. And by God's Grace and mercy, am coming back stronger.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Does God Reveal The Future To Us? by Dangerousboy(m): 10:01pm On Oct 18, 2021
Good evening.
God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipotent. He sees and knows all things.
Showing you your future is so that you can walk inline with it. So that you won't make mistakes and go the wrong way.

This can be made known to you in dreams, vision, prophecy, etc.

So it is your responsibility to lay hold of it and walk in it.

As christians your way of life (culture) should be that of christ. Your father's culture should come last.

Oga, if you actually cared about culture, you wouldn't have accepted Christianity in the first place.
Christianity originated from the middle east and it's alien to Africa.
first of all Christianity is not the culture of the middle east. Christianity is a culture because it is life. The meaning of Christianity is Like Christ. And this culture is heavenly and not of this world. Now that won't stop me from upholding my local cultural heritage esp the good one's.

The bible isn't our cultural heritage infact it isn't even our culture wake up from the hundreds of years of indoctrination and open your mind to the truth about the Bible and Christian beliefs
if you are not biased, you will see a lot of wisdom in what I wrote. I didn't just talk about the Christian culture, I also talked about the importance of passing and preserving our cultural heritage even to the next generation. E.g our food, clothes, music,e.t.c. as long as they are not babaric, and for us Christians, as long as it doesn't go against God's standard.

What is this "heavenly culture"?
Firstly, what is culture? It is the way a group of people live their lives in a particular geographic location.

Heaven is a geographic location, so it's inhabitants will have a particular way of life. There is heavenly food, heavenly Music, heavenly clothes, and heavenly languages.

And this is how they behave

Galatians 5:22-23.the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

PRESERVING OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE

Exodus 1:8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.

The new Pharoah didn't knew about Joseph, why? Because the story of how Joseph saved Egypt and the rest of the world was not passed on to his generation. It was lost.

In the west Africa country of Nigeria for example, many of our cultural heritage are lost, why? Because the forthcoming generation are not being taught. Many can't even speak their local dialects, talk more of preparing their local dishes.

I was amused when I heard a Parent telling her 20 years old son to go and learn their local dialect. I thought, why didn't you teach him when he was younger, it would have been easier.

Now God wants us to preserve the heavenly culture and pass it on to the next generation. If we want our Children to be distinguished and morally upright, then it is our duty to pass on these virtues to them.
Genesis 18:19, Deut 11:19

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

It says as many that received him, not as many that obey him. The prerequisite for being a child of God is receiving him. You can only obey him when you have received him.

YOUR UNRESTRICTED ACCESS TO GOD'S PRESENCE

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace......

In a palace, the Kings servants or staff do not have access to the King's Chamber or room. They can't just walk in, their access is restricted.

But the King's child do not have to ask the father to gant him access, he just barge into the father's room without knocking. Sometimes he takes what he wants without permission and leaves.

The old testament saints had to knock before entering, that's why they needed Thanksgiving and Praise to gain entrance, why? Because they were not Children but servants.

We now have unrestricted access to God's inner Chamber anytime - anyday because we are sons. So we approach boldly and make demands anywhere we are, based on Jesus' finished work. Roms 8:16, John 13:14, 16:23
