Daily Benefits

19 Psalms 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

God has blessings for all his Children daily. What are they? Psalm103:3-5 mention a few.

Lam 3:22-23 tells us that his mercies are new every morning. But, not everyone of his Children will receive theirs daily. Some will receive once a week, twice a month, few times a year, etc. Why?

You have to be in the right place to receive. The blessings/benefits won't fall down on you from the sky.
You have to wait on the Lord, tarrying in his presence daily. Isaiah 40:31.

Yesterday's benefits is just for yesterday. We need his wisdom, favour and mercy daily. And he is ready to supply if we would spend time with him. Psalms 63:1.

Oh, you are suggesting your own rule here. Are you certain that is a good idea since the enemy knows scripture better than many do.

John's test is simple and easy to use, and can be easily verified by applying the law of 2 or 3 witnesses which Jesus Christ gave to us, where in this case, John would be the first witness and and one using his test would be the second witness. Basically, if anyone who follows Jesus Christ uses what John prescribes and receives the very response that John stated, then the tester can easily conclude the test valid - truth established.

Your suggestion however leaves a person unsure since result is left open to interpretation. Since the enemy knows scripture, one might end up easily deceived or stuck in an endless loop trying to find the weak link.

I have written all I have to write on this topic. The Holy Spirit will enlighten those who are willing to receive the word unbiasedly.

If you are going to quote John at least be sure to include the particular tests prescribed by him where it comes to his idea of testing the spirits.
In the examples you gave, none of the accounts depicts the spirits in question saying anything similar of Jesus Christ. None of the examples you gave employed John's prescribed spirit-litmus test, so how can we believe any of the stories as they don't conform to the truth supposedly introduced here by John?

I said use the scriptures to test the spirits. If you want to use John's proscription, fine. But I wonder what your arguing?

TEST THE SPIRITS

1John.4.1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God...

One day a lady was in meditation when she fell into a trance. She saw a being coming towards her, and she presumed it was Jesus. She said the being was so beautiful, and glorious.

As it got close to her, it said to her; I am Jesus, I will die for you. She wondered, and replied; but Jesus has died for me already. Immediately she said that, the being who was so glorious revealed its true form, and it was an evil Spirit.

In her book, Divine revelation of hell, Mary Baxter, narrated how an unclean spirit appeared like an angel of light to a woman, telling her that if she becomes mean and wicked, he would take her to Paradise. Unfortunately, the Woman died and ended up in hell. 2Cor 11:14.

We should not just receive, or follow any revelation, vision or teaching that is not inline with Gods word, no matter who or what is giving or saying it. Let's be like the Berean Christian's and search the Scriptures. Acts 17:11

ENFORCE YOUR VICTORY

1Cor.15.57 - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I was astound, when someone from the Philippines asked for prayers on a social media platform, to break generational spells in her life and family.

There is a school of thought that says a Christian cannot be under a spell. They say when you get born again all spells are destroyed automatically. Well, a Child of God is not supposed to be under a spell, but he can be.

How do you know your under a demonic spell? (now this does not mean your possessed with a devil) when you see an evil pattern reoccurring in your life or family. For example people not living up to or more than a certain age, experiencing frequent rejection, untold hardship, the list goes on..

Now, Jesus has given us victory over all the power of the enemy Luke 10:19, but this victory has to be enforced, and it is our duty to enforce it. Deut 2:24, Matt 18:18


Take a look at your life, family, businesses, do you see any negative reoccurring pattern? Then go to the word, get scriptures that talks about your deliverance/ victory in Christ, Meditate on it, confess it, and use it to address that pattern/ spell in prayers. Do this continually until you see a Change. Hallelujah

DEALING WITH WICKED SPIRITS

1John.5.19 - And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

A woman took her sick Child to a man of God, seeking for solution. Instead the man of God asked the woman why she is tormenting her son. The woman then confessed to have eaten his liver Spiritually, and nothing can be done to help him physically.

While Vigil was going on in a particular Church, they heard a large thud outside. On getting there they saw it was a human being that fell from the sky. The prayers from the Church, was like a Missile and it hit this witch while flying over the church. When asked if she would repent she said 'God Forbid'

Eph 6:12 tells us that we wrestle against Spirits. One of these Wicked Spirit is the WitchCraft Spirit. Even God recommended they should be killed in the old testament Exo 22:18 under is permissive will, because of the level of wickedness and havoc they can cause.

Not all Problems are physical, some are caused by these spirits. That's why as Christians, our response to problems should first be Spiritual. We can stop attacks from these wicked spirits by exercising our God given authority over them. Luke 10:19, James 4:7. Mark 16:17

What I respect about you my brother, although we differ in some of our religious and cultural beliefs, is that you appear to love the Lord.
You respectfully reply and engage those who come on your threads (for whatever motives) in order to dialogue....with the intention of teaching and/or learning. I would encourage you to continue keeping that same spirit. The Holy Spirit will direct you on how far to engage in dialogue (with whomever) as well....knowing when to "dust off one's feet".

Now to the topic...I do agree about creating a sincere atmosphere of praise and thanksgiving (through prayer, song, etc.) for the Lord God to make His presence felt.
Moses wanted that deeper relationship with God....it's like one knows that God exists in the head, but needs to experience Him in a way that changes his/her life...

I believe that one has to be born of Spirit(not to be confused with Holy Spirit) in order to enter into the Kingdom of God.

I believe the Spirit of Truth lives inside of everyone wo submits to and obeys the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, and I also believe that inside of those who become Holy/Perfect vessels aka free from bondage to sin, the Holy Spirit of God comes and makes His home in, not on an off and on basis but permanently.

OK, but you have to accept the epistles as God talking to the Church also.

there are no dead here to bury. Only life. Denomination does not matter, but your denomination can affect your Spiritual progress. Any one who have received Jesus, regardless of denomination is a member of the body of Christ

Was it the first day Daniel made the decision to follow God - probably since His youth, or do you assume it the first day Daniel began mourning/expressing depression , probably loosing his appetite for the good stuff as a result?

I am a Pentecostal. But you see, what really matters is Jesus. Whoever shall call on his name shall be saved.

Secondly, the realm of the Spirit and Spiritual warfare are real. MOst times what we face in life, is a result of what has transpired in the realm of the Spirit. There is so much to write but because of space and time, I chose to stop were I stoped. More lessons will be given subsequently. Main while, your contributions and criticism are welcomed. That's how we grow.

1. What was Daniel depressed about? What was it that Daniel was supposedly praying for?

2. You conclude that Daniel fasted for 21 days but the above suggests nothing of the sort as it only lists that he did not eat pleasant bread, meat or wine for a period of 21 days.

What is fasting? It is simply abstainance from what you derive pleasure from, for a period of time. So, Daniel abstained from pleasant bread, meat and wine. That was his fasting sir.

I did not come to nairaland to teach scriptures or preach Jesus. I came here to share my experiences because I have seen a lot and I know a lot because God has thought me a lot and give me victory in many battles.

The bible is a spiritual sword and not a book. God did not give us the bible (sword) for we to debate it with others. When you debate the scriptures it drains your anointing and prevent you from gaining victory over the enemy.

Whatever you believe in, keep it to yourself. Dont apply your belief to my life experience because you dont know my journey. If you have 100 demons in your family, I have 10 millions devils in my family

I came from a family that worship idols, so dont try to educate me when it comes to spiritual reality.

you didn't come here to preach Jesus? You see that's it. Your experience is to lead people to Christ. If it doesn't, then sorry to say, it is irrelevant.

I wouldn't have commented on your post normally, but I see you going beyond Gods word because your making a mistake a lot of people do and that is putting your experiences above God's word.

When reading even your Bible, always pay attention to context.

You are told Daniel had a vision and in that vision, Daniel was met by a man, a guide, who told him things. The man gives you many clues to help you sort through the vision, mentioning persons(not spirits) , including a Kingdom of Persia, and a people, Daniel's people

1. The Kingdom of Persia was an actual Kingdom which existed during the time of Daniel, whose King happened to be named Cyrus, the great - Daniel 10 vs 1.

2. The one you call prince of the Kingdom of Persia was Cyrus's sons who is listed as the commander of the army of Persia - he was not a Spirit but a human being - Daniel 10 vs 13

3. the prince called Michael in the vision, also an important prince in the land of Persia, not some angel is mentioned. And in Daniel 10 vs 21, we are told of Micheal that he was a prince over Daniel's people, the Hebrews, suggesting to us that Micheal, was a man in the land.

4. In Daniel 10 vs 20, Daniel's guide in the vision, described by Daniel as a man, not a celestial being, informed Daniel that had to go continue his engagement with the prince of Persia, informing Daniel that another prince, the prince of Greece, would show up.

So, what "spiritual warfare" do you assume Daniel fought in this vision?

Daniel was fasting and praying for 3weeks, that was his spiritual warfare. Dan.10.2 - In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
Dan.10.3 - I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

Now look at the description of the man that stood or appeared before him. Was that the description of a man? How can a mans voice sound like multitude or his face like lightening?

Dan.10.5 - Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
Dan.10.6 - His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
Now the next verses confirms it was a supernatural experience. Only Daniel saw this man. The rest people ran away, maybe they saw a light or something, but only Daniels Spiritual eyes were opened to see this man.

Dan.10.7 - And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
Dan.10.9 - Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

The above verse said Daniel was in a deep sleep and he was facing the ground, but he saw this man, even in that state. So all that transpired was Spiritual.

Dan.10.12 - Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
Dan.10.13 - But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

OK, now he said Daniel's prayer was heard since the first day and he was sent with the answer. This could only be said by a Spiritual being.

Now verse 13 said he was withstood. You see Angels excellent in strength. All of them are not in the same level of strength. Their strength differs base on their responsibilities.

Now have you heard of Mystery Babylon? Do you think that was the Physical Babylon? There is a Spiritual Babylon. See there are demons that are in Charge of Continents, countries, states , Cities, towns and villages, even the one you are in.

The demon in Charge of Nigeria for example is called the Prince of Nigeria based on the territory he controls. So there is a Spiritual Persia above the physical Persia. And this is what withstood the angel.

Now this is what Daniel's prayer did. It sent reinforcement.

this religion section of nairaland, I hate to see when people foolishly debate and tried to teach scriptures instead of them to share spiritual experiences and divine encounters to help others.

Psalm 107:20 the word of God is what heals, delivers and set the captives free, not your sharing of Spiritual experiences. Sharing of experience can only stir up people to act on God's word. Seeing demons and visions is not the hallmark of Spiritual maturity.

You see I believe in Spiritual warfare, and I wrote about it today but you see, when you align your self with Gods word, you don't need to know what's going on in The so called red triangle except the Holy Spirit deem it fit to show at that moment.

Why bother to know what's going on in the kingdom of darkness? When there a alot to know in the kingdom of light? I rather pray to have heavenly experience than to see demons except the Holy Spirit wants me to deal with a particular Spirit.

Please never ever undermine God's word or the teaching of it because of an experience. If an experience does not line up with God's word, it is to be discarded. God's word is what we use to Judge all things. Bless you.

UNDERSTAND SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Dan.10.13 - But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.


One night, a woman who has been expecting a Child for some time, on a particular night, decided to take a walk. When she got to the back of the house close to the garbage, she saw her Mother eating her used sanitary pad. That was the cause of her barrenness.

Now this happened in America not Africa. By so doing, the mother has invoked spiritual forces( demons)against the daughter. The realm of the Spirit is real. Most of the battles we face today in life, are caused from the realm of the spirit. One example was the case of Job.

So how do We get into the realm of the spirit and fight these battles? well the instrument we use is the word of God via the vehicle of prayer against every unseen forces against us. Eph 6:12-13. Matt18:18.

THE MANIFEST PRESENCE

Exod.33.14 - And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

One day Tasha Cobbs the singer of power in the name of Jesus, was invited to a gospel concert in a city, and it was aired on television, and there was this girl who was in a state of coma in a hospital in the same city.

Now, the television in her Ward was tuned to that very Concert, and as Tasha ministered in songs, the Manifest Presence of God filled the room and the girl came out of coma.

God is everywhere but his manifest Presence which a lot of people call the anointing, or glory is not everywhere. Moses was not just asking for God's presence, when he asked for it, he was asking for the manifestation of it. And he saw God's glory.

One way we can see the manifestation of God's presence in our lives, is by creating an atmosphere for him, and this is done when praise and worship. 2 Chro 5:13, Psalm 22:3, Psalm 100:4, Acts 16:25,

However:
If I do not know the season of oranges, and I am disappointed at not seeing a ripe orange fruit on an orange tree, then I am ignorant.

If I understand how orange seasons work, but i'm still vexed with the tree for not having a ripe orange fruit for me when off-season, and I order that it be chopped down, then I am abusing my powers.



Yes, fig trees shed leaves, like all trees do. However, this does not mean that trees are without leaves when off season. A simple look into fig tree life cycle (or that of any other tree for that matter) makes this clear.

This "having leaves = false impression" narrative is just a lame attempt to justify a jesus' action in that account. It's a case of "it is jesus, he cannot be wrong. If he cursed the tree, no matter how crazy it appears to us, he must be right".

Don't go into the "the tree tried to deceive jesus" narrative. It's laughable.

a carnal mind cannot comprehend spiritual realities because they are spiritually discerned. Jesus cursed the fig tree for illustrative purpose. You can see it in Mark 11:12-24. And why are you so particular about him cursing a fig tree? How about how he fed the hungry, gave sight to the blind, raise the dead, turned water to win?
