KingTom: Even that 7-0 walloping, check the posts here before that game, we were all in high spirita as we felt we deserved to win like mad only to get lambasted by a hitherto lackluster Liverpool side. I go celebrate this win liiiiikkkeee Maaaaad oooo because nobody can kid themselves that they expected it Simple. We were expecting a loss, although most were hoping the team will keep the scoreline conservative and respectable. Then the team end up winning, whether by luck or outright grit and some people are trying to downplay it. I mean, consider when last we actually took three while points from Anfield of all places? When last? |

Oasis007: .....two truth can co exist on this matter bro. If we drew or lost the match, trust dudes here would cook Amorim like never before.
We were completely outplayed and exposed. Midfield shattered and Defence destroyed. Thanks to Lemmens otherwise eh!
I am happy for the lads cos they gave their all, but likes of Dalot, Bruno, Dorgu and Cunha played below average. If it was Bayindir in Goal or Chairman Onana, sorry would have been the case and AmorimOut would have filled pages with hot lamentations.
Let's celebrate the win but Amorim is stylishly giving up on his system. Baba is going ZeroHag way, abandon your philosophy, just get them the win at all costs. Funny thing here is you were one of those hardcore loyalists of Amorim until after the Brentford game at which point you were AmorimOut because you felt he's too stubborn and won't change his philosophy and system, despite the team continuously losing. Now, here you're subtly slating him for trying to flexible (even if it seems like he's abandoning his philosophy and going the route of Ten Hag). Bros, what exactly do you want? |

MRTA7: While there were lots to be happy about with yesterday, Some concerns still remain.
I still dont think Bruno and Case as the midfield 2 is the answer. I'm not sure how far that pairing can take us in the league.
I'm seriously concerned about Dalot. He has way too many bonehead moment in games these days. it used to be 1 braindead moment but now it seems its minimum 2 per match. I'm pretty sure the majority opinion among all United fans on this thread, Twitter, Reddit, and out there, is that a midfield pairing of Bruno and Casemiro is not ideal or sustainable long-term, for this club or team. Majority agree that we need young and versatile midfielders. However, those ones are not available, hence we are stuck with the two of them. I'm sure the board knows this. Continuously over-flogging the fact that a midfield pairing of Bruno and Casemiro is not ideal, will not change much, until the next transfer window comes and we see what the club does. |

timbros: This is pure nonsense.
Always picking out one player in the team to scapegoat every single time. You thinks that football knowledge? This is how you hated on Jorginho till he won all he won and left. You are still hating on Enzo while he has won Conference league and CWC as an ever present in the team... How did Chelsea win those trophies with him playing a huge part?
Once the team lose, it's Enzo. But the same Enzo was scoring and assisting but no, he couldn't do NOTHING. A midfielder's job, particularly a CM, is not to score and assist o. Leave that for the AM and strikers. A CM, who Enzo is touted to be, should have the job of controlling and stabilising the midfield, managing the tempo of the play in the midfield, relieving pressure from the defence, and connecting the defence with attack. Has Enzo been doing all these? These are the issues. If he's not doing these basic tasks, it raises questions. |

No too much talks. No one ever said the formation/system is faultless or so perfect. But consistently heaping every blame on the system/formation and the manager, even when players can't execute basic things or keep making schoolboy errors, only scream one thing: pointless agenda. But as you were... |

odizeey: Let them answer o. Because I no really understand again. Constantly blaming Amorim or the system for the fact that players are lacking composure in front of goal, and so missing clear target, it's baffling. On one hand, I understand that most of our attackers have not score goals this season, hence they feel pressure to get that their first goal and hopefully build on from there. But that first goal will not come if Amad can not calm down and shoot well when left with just the goalkeeper and an open net. That first goal will not come when Zirkzee skew his shot wide. All this can't be the system's problem or Amorim's fault. The pile-on on Amorim is just baffling, especially for things he has little control for |

dreamxhaser: You said my mind.
On of the reason I am standing by Amorim is due to the fact that before he came, we were over performing our XG. That time we would be outplayed, and the opponent will hit us with like 10 shots 7 on targets.
While we hit them with 3 shots 2 on target. Then we scrape a 1:0 win. Lol that’s nonsense.
We just need the goals to click. When they can click and we score goal. Most teams will crumble by first half. The only thing that gave Burnley hope was the fact that we were leading them 1:0.
If we had buried those guys from first half. Their moral for drop asap. This is another issue. The players' fragile mentality. They score one goal, and the intensity drops. This gives teams the mind to come at us, hoping to snag one goal back. Immediately, we find ourselves under pressure and we conceed. It's crazy and baffling. This can't be the system fault. It simply can't. |

TrebleChamp: Thier is no useless player in this team, we were just unlucky to miss those chances... So, I'm actually wondering. Is it the fault of the system which the manager is stubborn about implementing that we're able to create chances, make multiple shots on goals, but struggle to convert all those shots to actual goals? Amorim has his own flacks. There's no arguing that. But time and again, we have seen that the system is not all that rigid or preventing us from scoring goals. But many people keep heaping the blame on the manager and blaming the system as rigid. Maybe I'm missing something. Or is this a bandwagon issue? |

Caveatemptor: So Manchester United are back to where they left off last season. Amorim with his rubbish selection and mediocre tactics will be the death of this club. His supporters keep on making excuses for him while the club is sliding further down the league table. United were playing at Old Trafford which is their home ground! I fear for the future of this football club under Ruben Amorim. The Premier league is not the same thing as the Portuguese Premiera league. The difference is miles apart. One question. A straightforward, simple answer will be great. Tomorrow, Amorim is gone. Who will suggest the club hire/employ as manager to replace him? |

Trevor012: Ask these two. I see. Erik Ten Hag came, met some players on ground. But the board supported him, and get him players, the bulk of which were people who had played with him previously and based on the understanding that they knew his style of play and what he wants on the pitch. The board supported Erik Ten Hag and got him players, his players, people familiar with him. Again, I ask you, Trevor, Are you insinuating that the current players we have and those that were here last season, are not at fault? That what happened last season was solely the manager's fault? Is that what you're saying? A simple 'yes' or 'no' will do. |
