I have been reading about oil spillage in books and internet with disinclination until I travelled to Emago Kugbo and its environs and I spent hours in the sea and other riverine communities in Abua LGA of rivers state and now, each time I retrospect my experience I feel like crying and cursing our leaders. These people are in a terrible condition which I lack words to describe. Oil spillage is a serious situation that deserves emergency response.

During campaign period, the initiator of the bill and those who voted to support the bill will know certainly they have shot themselves.... However, at this point in time, something urgent need to be done to curtail excessive malicious vituperations from Nigerians. It has really gotten out of hand.

OP you are on point. I am observing keenly to see the content of the hate speech bill. Although I am in support of this bill as it will help us to guide our utterances but interpretation of the bill when it becomes law and prosecution of defaulters will be more interesting.

Let Igbos bring their investment home, including those in Lagos and make port Harcourt and calabar wharf very functional by joint action between south east and south south and forcing fg to expand these wharfs. Igbos should start using commerce facilities in south south and south east to boost trade in our zones. Use port Harcourt and calabar int'l airports and relocate your industries to south east.
