OP pls continue, we are interested in this story! |
Nice one. |
Truly, this man has championed a noble course and have pursued it vigorously. Respect to you, area fada. |
On a second thought, it may not really be about election, they may be his wives. Fear North! |
Nawao! What is wrong with Nigerians? I see Atiku like a normal self centered corrupt Nigerian politician, but he's 100% right in this reaction. Why attacking him because he aired his opinion which is the obvious reason why we are lagging behind? Whether he's being hypothetical or has the tendency of betraying this ideology, I will vote for him because of this message. Devolution of power is a sure one way to our development. |
It's a combination of both. While I must admit that it's more attitudinal, fighting it will not yield fruit using attitudinal methods of reorientation, remodeling and all that. Since corruption is obviously inherent in we Nigerians, we must learn to make our institutions tight, close loopholes that permits corruption, and apply modern technology in our institutions as such helps to prevent corruption. BVN is a very helpful tool, TSA too, is somewhat helpful. We must fashion out our institutions using modern technology to minimize unwholesome practices. Our leaders are corrupt as a result of our corrupt nature and we must use transparent institutions to disband corruption. |
This level of hypocrisy is the climax. What? Have we not been inundated with pictures of Nigerians serving in various capacities in diaspora. What happened to our conscience for goodness sake? If Nigerians in diaspora are to be sacked and repatriated from their host as a result of our discrimination, can our weak government absorb them? Are American citizens not crying for unemployment? Don't we have thousands of Nigerians serving in American civil service? What is really wrong with us? |
lol. More like your village people following you. Tosyntoomuch, come and see village people in action. |
This junky journalism is getting messier by the day. Instead of giving us details of daily capacity of production of the plant, source of raw materials, maintenance, and managerial capacity and all that, they ended up coining few words on commissioning. They couldn't even get clear picture of the plant, or detailed pictures of parts of the plant, hell no, they dissipated their energies on snapping wiked and osibande. Rubbish. |
They tried this time around. My anger lies on overwhelming rejection of devolution of power. When some folks where hailing the sinators' rejection of this edge of progress in a certain thread in this forum, I shrouded in pity. How do you expect meaningful development in Nigeria if states that bears bulk of the burdens are muzzled by the federal government in this disfavouring federalism and you still wonder why development is not coming forth? States truly have more responsibilities than federal government. That's why there's classification of roads viz federal and state road. Devolution of power with increased federal allocation to the state government and resting some responsibilities to state governments will do us a lot of good and will help FG to concentrate on fewer responsibilities. Another blunder committed by our sinators this time around is giving themselves immunity. |
Hahahaha. After the first 4 comments above, the op must have regretted ever creating this thread. Someone should help me with "you think you are doing me" meme.lol |
Jostico:Hahahaha. So you know that the guy is used to typing rubbish. Hardly will you read any sensible comment from him. |
This reminds me of a certain two flowing rivers that meets but never mixed up, Somewhere in IMO State if I am not mistaking. This enmity strong gan. |
United ko, Man Chester United ni. Arrab nonsense! Banana republic of a country, where nothing works. Ghost president is fighting ghost workers. |
Me too I have asked myself this question on countless numbers of time. Sometimes I believed there's love and in another I believe there's no love. Truth be told, love is based on self interest. Selfish interests is the rudiment of love. Watch and study anyone in an attempt to display love, chances are that there's implicit or explicit selfish gain behind the motive. Parental love is aimed at selfish interest of prestige, self actualization, and the gain to drive at old age. Spousal love is rooted in attaining societal status and dispelling of loneliness, keeping constant company that will help each other to achieve dreams. Even in the Christian faith, many times, love seems to be selfish and personal aggrandisement. You show love in expectation of rewards; maybe heavenly or earthly, all still trickle down to personal gain. I only believe in genuine love without any atom of selfish interests. Such love most be shown without expecting any heavenly or earthly reward. Such love is the most rarest thing on earth. |
Nawao, this life sha. The man de use leg de tell people waka. |
There's nothing in this life than having a partner who's everything to you. i would have criticised him for telling us this long tales but nay, she deserves this commendation, and our ladies need to learn from it. Marriage is not about eye lashes, figure 8, jewelries, slaying in latest vogue and others. We need someone to pray for us while we hustle, someone we can trust our homes with, someone to keep our families together and not to tear it apart. I am happy for you, Duncan mighty for this your wife. It's found one in 100women or even more. |
Nelson Mandela because he fought to liberate his people from suppression and also ran inclusive government. He never treated whites in vindictiveness. |
This is definitely buhari's family members where hyenas and jackals hold sway. I hate reading animals stories, I am a human. |
Truly this ones have lost their senses. Arrant nonsense. |
Rossikki:You could have used yours better. Under this period of time, they brought civilization, brought modern government, and made your people to live like humans instead of animals. Your fore fathers were naked, they clothed them, they traded by barter and were restrained in choice, they were killing twins out of the same wickedness and foolishness that's ruining your life but were stopped. They trekked miles and suffered miseries but were shown the lights. The whites came to meet us in our most crude and archaic nature and brushed us and refined us. They created the economy, market, education, transportation, good governance with meagre resources. But we can't survive in our boom. You are very dull to be sincere. Thank your star you were not born before they came, by now u would been cast into one evil forest or river. Who knows, we might have read your character in one novel or movie script. Ask Ola Rotimi of the gods are not to be blame. Ask Marry Slaysor of the twins of calabar |
The leadership of this country irritates. Worst still, The leadership is a reflection of the citizens. I wish we never had independence, we would have been better of. |
@OP, it seems like I am your husband. This is just my problem and my babe is seriously complaining about it. Sometimes she will take the phone from me and toss it aside. Being a matured man I am, I will laugh over it and romance starts because she thinks I am giving the phone more attention than her. Just use play and romance to stop it, that's all. |
I just remembered that cartoon video, area. Yaba, Yaba, I go crush you oh. Sweet Jesus. lol! |
That Taarty beulion was mistakenly transferred to my akant. |
Lol. I used to think that our police is the most foolish but south African police has proved me wrong. |
Nawao. How do you define flop at Abagworo? You only succeeded in creating more awareness of the said protest. I don't see this protest in any way targeted at IMO State govt which you had sworn to defend with the last drop of your blood. Similar protests have been carried in Abuja, Lagos and now IMO. Everything is not fight na. This protest is very successful from what is seen in this pics. Tell your confused governor that we need restructuring. |
Chai! A promising young star terminated by evil forces. |
mormonslayer:The truth is that, if the energy our people have dissipated in this agitation have been channelled to clamour for restructuring, believe me, by now we must have currried the interest of majority of Nigerians made up of Yoruba, entire Niger Delta will support it, Middle belt leaving Hausa fulanis with no other option than to comply. Our people don't want to reason and weigh many options. They are too carried away with Biafra fantasies. We stand to gain a lot in restructuring. Our closeness to south south states is a major advantage; Take for instance, the major patronizers of ariaria market and other big markets in aba are south south states. South south states will open more functional seaports for our importation. South south states will collaborate with south eastern states for technology transfer, idea sharing, supplies of our local products, training, and opening up of branches in south south states. We stand to gain a lot without any attack or loosing our investments in other states. If after about 20yrs of restructuring, we did not made the expected progress, we can equally weigh the option of self Independence. The truth is that restructuring which will usher in self reliance is a major step to even actualizing Biafra. |
OP, you just nailed it. The FG should stop marginalizing igbos and run inclusive govt. Among the five key points discussed, I prefer restructuring that involves resource control, true federalism, devolution of power, etc. The FG should ignore Roaches Okoroacha and Uma David of Ebonyi state. These are lazy governors that want to depend on monthly allocation without brainstorming initiative to explore the potentials of their states. They always kick against Biafra, Restructuring, Resource control etc. They don't speak the minds of majority Igbos. As for me and many others, all we want for is restructuring that will reduce the influence of federal, give states the right to maximize their resources. Oh my God! I can't imagine the level of competition among states which will trigger economic growth and development. Lalasticalala, Mynd44, this is front page worthy. |
