My own is that I have confidence that any of Prof Ikonne Uche, Dr Alex Otti, and Prof Ibe Gregory can perform. I like the candidates put forward by PDP, APGa, and Labour Party.

When T A Orji was Governor, Nkechi Nwaogu from Ngwa had the Senate, Chris Adighije from Umuahia was dropped for her.

When Ikpeazu became Gov..even though from another Senatorial Zone but Ngwa, it went to Ikwuano/Umuahia.

Now that the PDP candidate is from Isiala-Ngwa, the Senate cannot be zoned to them again but return to the Umuahia/Ikwuano axis.

Let me leave others for now and face Abaribe. The outgoing Gov is from his Zone and indeed LGA, so after 8 years of the Governor, he expects to take another 8 years again.

Is Abia State composed of only Obi-Ngwa LGA..... Many are even angry at the choice of another Ngwa man let alone someone from the same LGA. He now runs to APGA and instead of taking Guber, he is going back to Senate, yet wants Presidency to be zoned to SE. This is someone who has been in the Senate since 2007.

APC is really not serious in Abia politics of 2023. Guber flag bearer Umuhia, Abia central senate candidate Umuhia, that means nothing for Isialangwa north&south, and Osisioma. PDP in their own part is serious loosing strong party men that helps win election for them. You loose Ginger onwusibe, abaribe, iheyinwa, Nana, and other top men. APGA, LABOUR PARTY, AND YPP should take it all in Abia politics come 2023.

This story just doesn't add up. If someone was driving his bus for town service shuttling and ran into gunmen who ordered him to carry them to a location under gun point, only to get there and assassinate someone, how is he supposed to be the kller? I corrected him that the electoral law have been changed and I used the word "unlikely event" to let him know that I don't envisage such situation; meaning that I don't wish tinubu death. All of you that quoted me can check all my comments on nairaland and see if I had ever wished Buhari or Tinubu or anyone death. I am not that petty. I am more reasonable than most of you here on nairaland. In 2015, I lamented that neither Jonathan nor buhari was suitable as President of Nigeria and I didn't vote any of them, off course I voted. You have a point. Buhari showed indifferent attitude towards this primary election. For one, I reason on both sides and think that was the right thing to do when majority of the contestants are people you are indebted to, i.e, people whom you have benefited from their relationships with you. You will be confused on whom to stand for. Tinubu was instrumental to his emergence as president, so was Amaechi. Osibanjo has been there managing his absence, Lawan have approved even his own death sentence as long as it came from buhari. And these were the major contestants, and each fighting tooth and nail to cury your support. On the other hand, Tinubu will definitely feel betrayed by buhari and will nurse ill against him, considering the magnitude of his contributions towards enthrolling him.

This is my prediction as a realist; if the primary is conducted free and fair without imposition/consensus candidate, Tinubu will win. If buhari is left to pick and impose his preferred candidate, Osibanjo wins, but if the cabals succeeds in manipulating buhari, then, Lawan wins. In conclusion; 1. Lawan, 2. Tinubu, 3. Osibanjo, 4. Amaechi.
