This days guys are usually quite reluctant when it comes to the issue of training and breeding young girls to serve as their future wives. This was a common practice some years back, which am sure a lot of people in nairaland must have saw,experienced or heard about it. Yes the practice has it advantages but I think it,s disadvantages are more than it,s advantages. I need to specifically state that girls of 80's and 90's are quite honest, sincere, well behaved and trust worthy than girls of nowadays, the girls we have now seems only to be a shadow of themselves, not open to any agreement and disloyal. Yes they claim to have the modern technology, social network and other tools they claim that makes them better than our mothers but can that be labelled good? A lot of men were able to venture into the women train and marry risk project,but hardly did they come out smiling, but I still consider the option a bit benecial. Because it makes the girl loyal and ever grateful if she has a sincere heart and could lead to a successful marriage.
Right from my young age I have watched in hollywood, Nollywood, Bollywood and zollywood the stories of men training women to high institutions and the women humiliating them in return for their goodwill and claiming God only used the men to help them realise their full potential, the man is not worth their hand in marriage since he was only a tool used by God and therefore help them see their real man. This is a wicked idea which all hands must be on deck to abolish and eradicate. One way we can discourage this is by making sure we don't. (Guys) rush into hasty marriage promises when we know we are not ready for that and also try to study the lady, how does she look at us? Is it like a mugu or passerby who simply wants to spend money for the family out of goodwill. The girl must also consider if she will still love the guy when she must have become a graduate or something better in the society.
I therefore wish to advice that any guy willing to train a girl should do that out of his free will or go ahead and pay her bride price while she is still in school to avoid had I known.

I seen not to understand why yorubas and Igbos in nairaland always fight each other over issues that are irrelevant. Nairaland has almost all the ethnic groups in nigeria if not all, and this groups always add meaningful contributions each time a topic is razed without ethnic or religious coloration but each time an Igbo man comments he must abuse a yoruba man and anything bad that happens in nairaland a yoruba man claims it's an igbo man. I begin to wonder if these two tribes descended from jacob and esau or abraham and ismael. Then I still wondered perhaps they both have higher numbers in nairaland and therefore want to show the world their population in nairaland. Or is this evil been perpetuated by a few tribal bigots and fanatics? Or some people just come here to display ignorance? Or is someone purposely planting trouble? Or do Yorubas and Igbos really have scores to settle? I only want us to have an insight into the southern psyche and fight the common saboteurs that uses divide and rule. Anybody with answers can help.
