DANILSA: Even after the order from the appeal court seun still refuse to reinstate the minister of garri affairs, Hon.Ebamma and the Board of directors GPAN( Garri producers association of Nairaland). I wish to categorically state that ur actions is against the rule of law and the Nairaland constitution. The last meeting help by garri activists, it was agreed that they will go on solidarity strike until Hon ebamma and the GPAN directors are reinstated to NL, after which a thread GPAN will be opened for all members. No ban me o, I be barrister not member.

happy to inform all members of GPAN that the president has finally allowed the law to take it course by releasing hon Ebamma and the directors. This is a victory to all garri eaters, producers, buyers, retailers,distributors, union,cooperation and well wishers and also a victory for Democracy and the rule of law in NL.

This is a thread were all Garri producers, activists, traders and members of GPAN can air their views on how they think issues in NL can affect the price of garri. We will like to know what u think can be done to reduce the cost of garri, how garri business can be more lucrative, how to increase freedom of speech in garri issues and finally how to release the comrades that were sent to jail(ban) without fair hearing. As the solicitor general I can assure u that your safety will be guaranteed through legal proceeding and pls report any act of intimidation from the anti Garri fanatics so we could take necessary action against them. The nigerian constitution guarantees freedom of expression, fair hearing,thought and expression. We therefore urge you all to write about your normal business and be law abiding. The union has already set up a committee to see mr president(seun)and the senate president(mukina2) to deliberate on all issues affecting price of Garri.

President Goodluck Jonathan has exornerated
Prof. Bath Nnaji, who resigned his appointment as
Minister of Power on Tuesday, of any wrongdoing.
He said the former minister did not commit any
offence.
Jonathan also threatened to go on exile if he fails
to deliver the second River Niger Bridge at the
expiration of his tenure.
The president spoke on Thursday at a town hall
meeting organised as part of activities marking
his one-day state visit to Anambra State.
He however said Nnaji needed to step aside to
allow credibility and level playing ground for the
privatisation programme.
Jonathan said, “He did not commit any offence.
He is very competent. But we are doing
privatisation. To make sure there is credibility,
somebody must step aside.
“Some persons told me that some companies
have already been shared and I said no. In
previous privatisation, some errors were made
and the country is suffering for it..
“We have demonstrated that at the political level,
we need to replicate it in the industrial sector, he
has to step aside.
“ We will get a competent person to replace him.”
On the second Niger Bridge, the president said,
“If I don’t deliver second Niger Bridge at the end
of my tenure, I will leave this country and go and
live elsewhere because the failure can not be defended.

Ndu_chucks raises a rumor about Nnaji we eat and laugh, dede1 tries to help him but his drunk, ebamba comes in to ask if what ndu_chucks is saying has affected the price of garri, their is an argument as more people come in, I finish my isiewu and quietly leave the gossip room.
